I went in yesterday afternoon and there was one kid working there without a mask on. I figured he would go behind the desk to put one on since there were customers in the store now, but he just went behind the counter, didn't put one on, and then came out on the sales floor without one and kept getting closer to me. Then when I went to check out, I had to ask him to put one on and he said "Oh, do you want me to?" It was uncomfortable and, since it is required by law, I don't think they should be making customers uncomfortable or putting them in awkward situations because the employees refuse to wear masks. It's too bad because I like this store and, even though it is a bit overpriced, it is convenient and I always find good stuff there. Guess I'll be back after the pandemic is over.

Barrels & Birdies is a great clothing/apparel store located in Ladera Ranch in south Orange County…read more Scott, the owner is a super friendly guy. They have an excellent variety of surf and golf apparel (clothing, shirts, hats, socks, sandals; brands include TravisMatthew, Johnnie O, Izod, etc). Before you head to The Shops at Mission Viejo, stop by Barrels & Birdies and support local, small business in the Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, Ladera Ranch, Rancho Mission Viejo area. They have a cool Birthday / Gift box (choose 2 of 3 items) that makes gift giving easy. Great store, excellent experience. Would encourage you to check them out. Located in the Mercantile West shopping center across from ZPizza.

I have worked in the floral business. Do not use Ranch Florist (also known as Flowershopping.com)…read more They are deceptive in their advertisement. They are not a locally family owned flower shop that offer contactless delivery as shown on their website. If you don't believe me look up their address listed...it takes you on google maps to a gas station. They are a website that takes orders and sends them out to actual local florist. They take money from each sell and give a watered down price to the local florist without telling the customer of the fee or the local florist of the original price. As a result a $80 purchase becomes a $65 order at the flower shop...you are literally getting an arrangement for $15-$20 less value than what you paid (BTW $20 means 6 less roses or snaps, 10 less carnations or daisies etc). To make things worse if you as a customer are unhappy with the arrangement (that the local flower shop actually filled to value as they received) the local florist gets a dispute from Ranch Florist and is out all the money and the product. Ranch Florist or Flowershopping.com is not good for customers, recipients nor for actual family owned local flower shops that are struggling to get by during this time. - Also they cant promise same day delivery, nor product guarantee because it is up to the local florist who is filling the order as to what they have on hand or are able to deliver that day. DO YOURSELF AND YOUR LOVED ONE A FAVOR & SHOP LOCAL, LOOK AT REVIEWS OR BETTER YET REACH OUT TO YOUR LOCAL FLORIST WHO CAN WIRE OUT FOR YOU TO LEGITIMATE FLOWERSHOPS & WILL COMMUNICATE TO YOU AND MAKE SURE YOU GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR. Thank me later :)

So... FlowerShopping.com is REALLY "Ladera Ranch Florist, Inc."? That explains the Ladera Ranch…read moreaddress on the Contact page of the website. Got it! Good to know! Regardless, of what these shysters call themselves they are HORRIBLE! When my wife's anniversary flowers did NOT arrive at our home the requested DAY - that's day people, day - I contacted them via their contact page (currently the ONLY means of contacting them now they have removed the toll-free number and don't list their local number - which is 949 305-3247 - from the page) and got the attached voicemail message the next day. Two days go by with NO refund. I find their email address (customerservice@flowershopping.com) and forward the attached image to them. I FINALLY got a refund. So never mind that I had to deal with a disappointed wife on our anniversary. Never mind that I had to jump through hoops simply to get a refund for something that I purchased that never arrived. Never mind that their website keeps getting more and more and more locked down so that you can't contact them. Actually, no, there is no never mind. This is horrible service! Unacceptable. So I am just adding my voices to the chorus of voices that have preceded me here. Now you know, these guys are shysters.
