When I asked if it was required, all I got was, "The doctor recommends it," which is optometry speak for "It's optional... but we're doing it anyway." When you walk up to their office you can see they have separate well and sick entrances to minimize illnesses spreading, additionally the lobby is spacious and has nice bright colors. The receptionists process us immediately upon entering the facility, the nurses are very thorough with their pre-examination and are engaged at getting to the bottom of any issues they can address and the doctors visit is always incredibly thorough and they never make you feel rushed - and as parents of young (and sometimes sick) kids, no parent ever wants to feel rushed. The only thing that kept them from recieving 5 stars is that when they conducted an eye test on our son, when the results came back they recommended a HORRIBLE kids eye doctor who had bad reviews to begin with. We went to the eye doctor out of trust that Coastal Kids had verified this was a quality eye doctor and unfortunately it was one of the worst medical office experiences we have ever had. They second office they recommended was MUCH better. I simply suggest that they do a better job of vetting the offices that they recommend to clients.

The substance abuse counselor, Mr. Felix was such a breath of fresh air. He went at my pace and we set realistic goals for my road to recovery.
