Nice man helped me find an item that was damaged but good for me. He asked another guy about it and said a price- ask for him at checkout. Did, and man 2 provided it. Then some other random guy pops up and states they don't do that, and proceeds to totally change the price. Turns out he's manager. Here's a tip from a former store manager and supervisor. You wait until the customer leaves. Then you educate your team about the correct protocol for the future. Instead, you chose to embarrass your customer, make the cashier forget to enter the discount at all AND lose at least one customer. We go in and OK, where do we look for what we want. There supposed to be some staff or something to help out but couldn't get anyone. So we wander down some asiles and don't see what we want. OK, I see the tool area, so we go over there. No one to help either. I did manage to find the chain saws, really big ass ones too that might chop my foot off with. I just wanted a little hand held job. I found a couple of options, but wow, these prices are a bit high, OK, higher that I wanted to pay for something I'm gonna use just occasionally.
