Several months ago they installed a new security system to deter break ins. It is motion sensored, and I'm assuming gets set off constantly by the stray cats in this area. When it first started it scared the hell out of me and my kids. We thought it was police with a megaphone on our street. Then we thought it was maybe someone driving by with a megaphone trying to play a prank. We couldn't figure out where it was coming from. After checking in with neighbors, we figured out it was coming from Northern Roots and was also becoming a huge nuisance to all of our neighbors. I went by the business and let them know what was happening. The employees argued with me for a bit about it before agreeing to let the manager know and also informed me they wouldn't do anything about it. I asked them if they would at least have the volume turned down. I was informed "that's not how it works." Months later now all through the night and weekends it goes off constantly. "YOU ARE TRESPASSING! PLEASE LEAVE THE AREA. THIS AREA IS UNDER VIDEO SURVEILLANCE AND YOU HAVE BEEN RECORDED!" Constantly. Since earlier this evening and still continuing it has been going off every 1-3 minutes. I called the non emergency line and made a noise complaint an hour ago, but I doubt they can do anything until the business is open again. It's keeping me awake. I have to take kids to school early in the morning. Roman has to work early. I am losing my mind. So I'm going to leave reviews everywhere I can since Northern Roots doesn't seem to care about how big of a nuisance they are to their own community. Please keep this in mind next time you are choosing a hydroponic store. I will happily remove my reviews when they get a different security system. (In the time it took me to write this post, I documented how many times it went off...it has gone off TWELVE times)

Last time I was in Chef'store I purchased bone in, skin on thighs, they were about the size of pigeon thighs, couldn't serve those to guests. They no longer carry a LOT of things that the old Cash n Carry use to have. 10 pound bag of onions was a pretty decent price, but the yellow onions in that bag were really small, not medium to large like the old Cash n Carry. I'll be sticking with CostCo from now on to purchase what I need, more of a variety, better quality, and priced more reasonably, even WITH the membership fee.

Once it arrived, everything went exactly as promised. The delivery was no easy task. The apartment is on the second floor with a narrow, challenging staircase and a difficult entry. The delivery team handled it with professionalism and care, removed our old refrigerator, installed the new one, and never once bumped a wall or damaged anything. They also cleaned up after themselves, made sure everything was working properly, and confirmed that we were completely satisfied before they left.
