This is in response to the reply they left on my original review -- which honestly proved exactly what I was talking about. In person, the staff were very standoffish and rude. Even simple interactions with the front desk felt uncomfortable. The attendant would be on their phone, say "hi" in a cold tone, and then basically ignore me while I was standing right there. It made me feel stupid for even trying to ask a question. My husband and I ended our 90-day trial with Human Evolved Optimization Labs as soon as we could. When I went in person to let them know, the attitude got even worse. It felt like they took our decision personally, and I was met with unnecessary hostility just for canceling. That's honestly why I didn't feel comfortable using my main email to leave a review and used an extra account on Google and Yelp instead. Their response on Google really shows what kind of company this is -- any negative feedback is treated like a personal attack or like the reviewer is "out to get them." That kind of mindset feels narcissistic and unprofessional. If you're considering this place, just be aware that customer service and basic respect are not their strong points. Again, it has been MONTHS, so sorry I confused your 30 day trial with 90 days. But my point still stand. And no, I have nothing left to talk about with your company. read more

I really enjoyed the red-light therapy and the compression with cryotherapy, and my teenage daughters found the experience very stress-relieving as well. Their favorite part was the cold plunge, and they even stayed in for six whole minutes! The saunas and massage chairs were wonderfully relaxing, too. This is a wonderful place to try out all kinds of fun healing treatments and proliferate healing from injuries. A day pass is well worth the value and the membership packages are also a good value and depending on how much time you have it may be the better value to consider.I've tried the red light infrared therapy,the infrared saunas,Norwegian style sauna directly after the ice bath dunk,the compression boots,Pandora star,inversion table,vibration table. Great way to spend the day off. Jack and the rest of the staff was very sweet and encouraging to everyone I saw.If you have a bag you would like to bring with you you can store it away in a locker but it's best you bring a lock with you and maybe a water bottle,change of clothing and a wet suit of some kind. My advice is to follow Evolve on social media. Lots of information on the benefits of the treatments to boot. Instagram and Facebook if that's your thing. I have been going to this facility for over 6 months now. I really enjoy all that it has to offer (including like minded people and helpful staff). There are so many modalities to take advantage of. I usually spend 3-4 hours when I go each time. My routine starts with cold plunging (I do 3 bouts with sauna sessions between each). Then I use the compression devices, red light room, and end with a massage. Occasionally I partake in the other modalities (Tri-Vibe, meditation, and vibration tables). If you are interested in a different approach to improving your health and feeling better- this is worth a try! I always leave feeling amazing! read more

Shady Business Practice - Misleading Advertisement I visited Evolve Labs after seeing a clearly advertised day pass for $24.99 on social media. When I got there, they told me the price was actually $49.99 and that they "no longer offer" the $24.99 pass. They claimed the ad wasn't on their end and that they're trying to get it taken down, but that's not the consumer's responsibility or problem. This is a shady business practice, plain and simple. If you advertise something, you're responsible for honoring it or ensuring the ad is removed when it's no longer valid. Blaming someone else while still benefiting from the traffic is unacceptable. This felt like a classic bait and switch. Misleading, dishonest, and completely unprofessional. I would not recommend Evolve Labs to anyone looking for transparency or integrity in a business. read more

This place is a gem for athletic recovery and relaxation! It's been on my list to try when I come to San Antonio and I can't wait to come again. Jack was so patient and helpful with me and everyone else. He gave me a good overview of the space when I arrived and gave me all the necessary info to get started on all the new equipment. You could tell he really enjoyed geeking out on it all! I want to pick his brain some more. I tried the hot sauna, cold plunge, infrared sauna, compression boots, red light therapy, massage chair with guided meditation device, and the Pandora star. The cold plunge (there were 3) was a solid 46 degrees, cold enough to get good therapeutic effect and make your bones ache in the best way. They had a warmer one at 65 degrees or so too. The tubs were great, and custom too apparently! I'm interested in trying the Pandora star more. I sorta just picked a mode (acid squirrel!) and went for it, and it was fun, but I found myself looking into the potential therapeutic effects later and I'm intrigued. That massage chair was out of this world! It almost felt as good as a human massage. I'm looking forward to coming back when I'm in town. It's definitely worth a trip. The owners are on to something special. It's not like your regular cryo/IV place. read more

This is such a cool little venue for rejuvenation!! I went in and only had about 3 hours before they closed to make the most of my day pass. I managed to cram in a lot of cool activities. I did the red light panels, then a long time in a high-end zero-gravity massage chair, then I did the leg compression pants (felt amazing), then the Tri-Vibe experience (which is like doing psychedelics but no drugs involved, just lights, sound, & vibration!). I then did the vibration standing-machines- which felt crazy! In a good way! Like they jumbled my DNA & activated my whole central nervous system, chakras, and scrubbed-out my third eye! I ended with a soothing sound bed meditation. I'd definitely love to go back someday. If I lived closer maybe I'd get a membership. They also have cool drinks to try in their fridge, and protein shakes. Fun experience! I definitely recommend. Ryan is pretty rude when it comes to customer service. His approach is unprofessional Replying to your message: First off nobody is stealing a damn thing from you. I paid roughly 300$ in three months only went once. What am I stealing? Second it was to my understanding that I was paying 4 days a month per my monthly membership, again I went once in 3 months. Third and what really pissed me off was the way your employee/manager approached me in front of everybody with my son sitting next to me.
