Kaleb with Tualatin Valley Painting and Construction was the first to responded to the project request within 7 minutes of me submitting it! He was able to schedule a meeting for the next day to meet on site and discuss the project scope. While I do consider that a positive aspect that his business is heavily booked, I am waiting to move into my house until after the painting is completely so I needed a vendor who could start my projects fairly quickly. Although I selected another vendor for this project, I would absolutely reach out to Kaleb again in the future.

They were very prompt to come out and work up an estimate which was competitive Best of all, they could do all the exterior work and not have to coordinate with two or three contractors. Lada also did interior trim of some new windows and will be replacing a sliding door unit. I was impressed with the work crew's attention to detail in the siding tear off, prep and installation as well as the prep and execution of the painting. The entire crew were very easy to work with and professional. Ivan was frequently on the job overseeing and helping out and was very knowledgeable and helpful to explore options and contract add-one. He always confirmed with me the colors, what was to be painted which color, which items were to be removed or masked, etc. The entire project went like clockwork, the quality of work is top notch, communication was frequent without being intrusive, and no surprises with budget or scope of work. As a retired project manager I have great respect for Lada Exterior's professionalism and value provided. I highly recommend Lada Exteriors for any exterior work including siding, gutters, deck repair, windows and doors, and painting. I understand they do roofs and while we did discuss possible roof repairs that ended up not being needed. They are certainly knowledgeable about the right way to do remodel and repairs and how to work with a budget. I will gladly call on Lada Exteriors if I have exterior projects in the future.

This is a disappointing review to write because I was initially really happy with them, and the…read moreexperience went downhill pretty quick. We used GM for both siding and exterior paint, at first they were extremely communicative, friendly, and the siding project itself seemed to go fine other than a few mishaps. With the siding, we loved how it looked but the work crew lacked professionalism. They left nails all over our yard, ripped bushes out of the ground on a carefully lined walkway, and pulled our front bushes down so aggressively they've never come back up and will have to be ripped out. The nails were a huge concern because we have a dog, and had we run one over with a mower that could have been dangerous for us as well. Months later we are still finding them. The contractors did compensate us for the bush they trampled. On to the paint. The painting contractors were awful from start to (never really) finished. They were unprofessional, left things in our trees and bushes, left garbage around our house and yard, trampled the bushes we had just replaced from the contractors (we weren't reimbursed this time), moved our fence post to a crooked location that we can't fix. Beyond that, we had a dark gray color with white trim, if you've ever painted over a dark color with white you know you have to have MANY coats to not have seep through of the darker color. For some reason, they painted all of it the dark color and then went over the trim with white, so in many areas you can see the bleed through of the gray. It looks tacky and like we DIY'd it. Additionally, we asked for the garage to be painted white and they painted it dark gray like the house.. when we asked them to fix it, they didn't open it to paint so as soon as we opened the garage it cracked on the bending panel and the insulation came out. I got in contact with the contractors right away and Kara said she would send someone out. She didn't, and that was now almost 3 months ago and they've completely ghosted us with a broken garage. They've also left their porta potty in front of our house this entire time (3 months and counting). Our neighbors across the street also hired them for siding and paint and they've also completely ghosted them for the paint. We initially would have recommended them but they ended up screwing us over so I'd go anywhere else.

We just purchased it a year ago. They say they are going to pay for the repair but waiting for confirmation of that. They want too much of the money up front which seems to make them lose interest. 90% before the job is done. This star value could change if things look up. Update: Job was finished and work was done well. Continue with having the company credit us on the final bill for the air conditioner repair we already paid for. We have the pictures of their worker standing on the unit and the dent it cause. The salesman that does the estimates are very professional and make you feel like the company knows what they're doing. But not an actual representation of the workers and billing department. I will change the rating to a 3 because the work was good.

With the heat we've had the past few summers and then the snow that seems to be a yearly event now, we thought it was time to get a really good widow upgrade. We also wanted out house painted after installation and Clear Choice set that up for us as well. (See my review for Triple A Painting). What we loved most about dealing with Clear Choice Windows & Doors was the personalized service we received. They have a large selection of window frame materials to choose from and our choice of fiberglass was an easy one. It was explained to us that fiberglass windows are stronger than both vinyl and wood, making them incredibly resilient to weather and climate -- perfect for PNW homeowners. From start to finish, our team of window installers provided friendly service, excellent craftsmanship, and it took only two days to install the 10 new windows in our home. Before, during and after, the team cleaned up and kept the work site tidy at all times. There was minimal damage to our landscaping as well. We can feel a definite difference in the inside temperature of our house since the new windows were installed. Our AC doesn't seem to work as hard and it takes less time to cool off in the summer and to heat in the winter. The outside look is classy and fits well with the style of our house and the neighborhood. We highly recommend Clear Choice Windows & Doors if you're looking for new windows.

Two days later, Juan and his crew arrived a few minutes earlier than scheduled to get started on our project.
