Bought SunSetter Solar Shades from All Surface in 2018. Mfgr offered a 5 yr motor & solar panel warranty. In 2023 the motor had to be replaced under SS warranty but All Surface charged a replacement fee. The techs sent out did not know what they were doing which meant I had to get SunSetter on the phone to guide them on how to replace & reprogram the control unit. They also neglected to be sure the connection fittings were tightened causing water to seep into the 3 prong connector thus corrosion happened rendering my motor again useless. Because of this neglect, Sun Setter wants me to pay $242 plus shipping then All Surface would then charge another replacement install fee close to $200 for damage caused by All Surface's inproper replacement install. When I called to find out from AS what a new shade would cost, with size in their records from original purchase they refuse to give me a ballpark estimate on what a new shade would cost & said they refuse to do so because they must come out to the home. All in all, this has surely been a learning experience on company's integrity & customer service. A much simpler solution is to either go to another authorized Sun Setter dealer or to replace with solar blinds from the inside which is cheaper & will accomplish the same goal. Apparently the motor & solar panel for these outside shades is an ongoing expensive problem. read more

We hire them several years ago to treat our roof and replace some shingles. The new shingles they added stick out like a sore thumb. We contacted them right after the job was done and they were totally disinterested in rectifying the situation. We still get irritated every time we look at the roof. Alberto covered what the plan was to clean the gutters and to determine which water spigot was available during the cleaning. The team was focused upon their work and moved briskly to complete the tasks required. Clean up of the yard, patio, porches and driveway was appreciated...things looked better than they found them. All Surface came about out six weeks ago to clean my gutters and treat my roof for algae. The crew did sloppy work, leaving (and still remaining) white clumps of zinc powder that wasn't effective, since about half the algae still remains. I reached out multiple times, half of my attempts which were not responded to, and when they did respond, I was told for weeks that they'd "get me on the schedule" to return, only to have no further communication. You're better off using one of the many more better qualified companies for your gutter/algae cleaning services unless you want to pay for subpar service that you'll only end up paying someone else to redo. read more

Great company we found to power wash, brighten and re-stain our deck. Our deck was looking shabby and we decided we were not up for the task and in terms of time. We contacted All Surface Cleaning Company and was very pleased with our choice. An estimator came by and gave us an estimate and answered all my questions. The job went smoothly and fast. Very happy with the excellent pressure washing job done by Domingo and Marcos. It was a big job with lots of steps! Their work was thorough and efficient and EVERYTHING was beautifully cleaned up once the job was done. My one critique would be issues with scheduling. I was surprised not to be given a specific appointment date and it took several phone calls to ascertain the exact day of service. Since this is the second time I have employed this company and that was NOT my initial experience, I can only assume this was influenced by the Covid situation. Long story short (well, I'll try to be short): I needed to have my roof cleaned and reappraised ASAP per my homeowners insurance agent. Totally freaked out and not knowing anything about this process, I contacted this company to receive a quote and get on their schedule. The communication was frequent and really clear with regards to timelines. The work was done very quickly and my insurance appraiser said it was one of the best roof cleaning jobs he has seen. All Surface just cleaned and treated my shake roof plus power washed the driveway and walks. As part of the roof cleaning they inspected the roof & did an excellent job replacing shakes. They did a great job! I like that they clean the roof with air pressure rather than water. I will definitely be using them again in the future. I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5 because I scheduled the work in early Oct and the work happened in mid January. They did not pay attention when sanding and they removed paint from my house, tore off weather striping, an damaged the fence. I think they missed a spot too. All Surface Cleaning Company was one of the few companies in the Portland area that would install a Sun Setter awning we bought through Costco. Within 24 hours of contacting them they had called me back to schedule an install date. Luis and another member of his crew called me this morning to let me know they were on their way. It took them about 3.5-4 hours to install the awning, doing a very thorough job. I am really glad I didn't try to install this as it's a lot more complicated (and heavy) then you might think. Luis does a lot of Sun Setter awning installs and it showed in his work. They did a fantastic job, even setting up the LED lights (make sure you get these, they are worth the extra $). Be careful with this company, you work with THREE different people none of them communicate with each other. One sales person, one estimator, and the people who actually do the work, and if you ask to speak to the people who actually do the work, the answer is "no". I hired All Surface to assess our gutters. Their "expert opinion" was that it wasn't the gutter but the roof needed cleaning, so we paid over $2500 to get the roof cleaned. The problem still persisted and All Surface reassessed the problem and determined that the roof needed to be replace and sent me an estimate for $10,000. So I cleaned my roof for $2500 just to have it replaced?? When I called to discuss this with someone the answer was "we are very sorry, would you like to schedule the roof replacement?". Had Roger come out for a "quote". Definitely didn't look around the property as he quoted us aspects that were non-existent (ie gutters on a backyard shop that had no gutters). Pretty sure he just google mapped the property. Then had the first crew come out. Completely missed multiple areas which I had to point out as the crew was packing up to leave. Then upon further investigation of their "work", I noticed even more areas that were missed. Not nitpicking either, like obviously missed areas. I had to send pics to an admin, then had to have another crew come out to complete the job. In the end they clearly used bleach to clean the house which was not disclosed prior to moving forward with their service (ie the paint looks terrible/worse than before they came) and needs to be repainted. Wish I would've spent the extra to have the cleaning done by a company that doesn't cause more damage than good. Also had the "roof treatment" that I'm not 100% sure was done properly. Don't recommend. I'm not a person to throw shade on a company, but it was NOT a good experience in anyway. Also, our house was not very dirty to begin with. Just decided to clean the house as well as our regular roof maintenance. Look elsewhere, not sure why they have such good reviews. read more

The best service experience I've had with a contractor. My partner found and hired them but then I picked up from there. They were so friendly and easy to work with. Our roof looks much, much better! We knew when we bought our house that the roof was OK but would need some work. We expected we'd get a long expensive list of what we had to spend money on. The whole process went great from the bid until they finished. We have a 2-story home with many peaks on the roof and large trees in our back yard which has created perfect conditions for moss on our roof. We needed the moss removed, roof cleaned and a moss treatment put on it and the gutters cleaned. We contacted 6 companies to get bids. Unlike some of the companies we called, All Surface came out to look at the house and gave us a free bid with several options. Their bid was not the cheapest or the most expensive, but we selected them from the reviews we read and the fact that they gave us two choices for products to treat the roof. We did have to wait about 3 weeks for the work to be done, but that is normal for this time a year. The workers showed up on time and spent about 7 hours scrapping moss of the roof with small brushes, cleaning the gutters, picking up all the debris and cleaning up our driveway, walkway and deck. It was raining the day they came out, so they had to come back a few days later to put on the treatment. After putting on the treatment they hosed down our windows, plants, driveway, walkway and deck. Everyone we worked with was friendly and professional. We will call them again when we need our roof or gutters cleaned. read more
