Called JBC and they came out almost immediately. Mark (I think was his name) went up on the roof and took a look. He nailed the cover back in place and inspected the area around it. He said there was no other damage that he could see and that the roof looked pretty good. He also said that while JBC doesn't do sheet rock work, they could refer us to a business they contract with. We told him we'd get back to him as soon as we got our insurance settlement. JBC also gave us a quote for cleaning and sealing the roof, applying moss retardant, cleaning the gutters, etc., and we are just about ready to call and schedule a date. If we are happy with their work, we will call the in the spring to discuss having a new roof put on. Stay tuned for another review.

So, it wasn't hard for us to pick one, and we're ready to hire someone, now! With that said: This is the first time that we have someone HARASSING US (desperate enough?), by phone calls ( 5 times in one day, and not leave us messages), even sending me a TEXT, after I text him back: "no thanks, we've picked someone else." I thought, that would stop all the phone calls, then, for the last time, he called me again (1 week later), and not leave a message. I called Shane (the guy on my phone who have been calling me, but his name is not Shane) and asked him: "What can I do for you?" "WHO are you really calling?" A person, or company calling excessively for more than 3 calls, is DESPERATE! A person calling & hanging up, not leaving a message is at anytime a RUDE person! That's what Telemarketers do, all the time, and this company is acting like a telemarketer & being rude, and is harassing in my book! I do not deal with a company who doesn't behave in a professional manner. (What if they're applying for a job, sent in a resume, and keeps calling the company again & again, if he got the job? Same scenario!) And the rudest part is? YOU don't ever ask: "Who did we pick?" INOYB My name is not even on his date base, and doesn't have a clue, if he had given me an estimate or got my text! BTW: Amanda was the person who came to my house to give us estimates, when I was told it would be Shane.

To prevent problems others have had I had the vents replaced by Cooper Mountain. I called for an inspection and they promptly showed up and took pictures to show me the imminent failure. While it took a few days for the quote, it was a fair bit less than what others in my neighborhood have paid for the same repairs. We got on the schedule and they came out and fixed us up quickly. The builder also put in a vent with no connection to anything. The repairman showed me and went into the attic space to confirm that nothing was amiss. This is the second time I've used Cooper Mountain (roof replacement on prior residence) and I would totally recommend and use again when the time comes.

When I wanted to add ventilation to my roof, every other roofing company simply wanted to sell me a new roof, which I didn't need. Casey worked with me to create a custom solution that involved ridge venting and bird blocks to create the airflow needed on my duplex, without having to replace the roof. Once we agreed on a design, the install was done in 2 days, which is mind blowing considering there was over 100 feet of ridge vent and about 36 bird block vents. Casey came back to the property after the install to check the work which I greatly appreciate and I feel really shows the professionalism of this company. I will only be using Cooper Mountain for any roofing needs.

I was at wits end trying to locate a reputable company that could get me a bid and start work soon when all other GCs were completely unresponsive. I found Freestone (Aka Builder, Roofing) on Instagram. I afmit I was a bit nervous to approach a company with ads on IG but seemed out of options. I'm so glad I did! Idir and his team, including Ran, were incredibly responsive. A rep came to my house within 2 days, an estimate for repairs were sent via email in less than 48 hours, and followed up with opportunities to ask questions within a day. Once I obtained insurance authorization to start work, Ran scheduled repairs to start in less than a week, and they finished a bit more quickly than anticipated. The job was quick. More importantly, the pricing was fair and reasonable, and the work was perfection. The crew even identified a hole in heating ductwork that was unknown so that we could get it repaired. Because they did such a great job and established superior communication and tryst throughout the process, I decided to hire Freestone for my bathroom remodel. Ran has already proved to be a rockstar in communication, follow up through the estimation and contract process. He's also been super patient with my work and travel/family schedule and all my questions! I can't wait to see what the bathroom remodel will look like when complete! Pricing of the project was very reasonable; I think it was the second-lowest quote we got, but Sawtooth's materials and warranty were better. Jose and his crew did a great job. During the job, every day's end-of-day cleanup was great. The end result looks beautiful, and we're very happy with the way everything went. The high end materials and awesome warranty also add to the satisfaction of a job well done. One hiccup: 2 fascia boards with some minor dry-rot at their ends were supposed to be replaced before the installation of new gutters (new gutters were part of the project). Somehow that fell through the cracks, and the gutters went up over the 2 boards. Darrin quickly took ownership of the issue, and did a great job of repairing/rebuilding the corner where the problem was. Very satisfied with the response to the issue! Suggestion to Sawtooth: if new gutters are in the project, they need to be included in the project scope all the way to the end. That includes final inspection and invoicing. The QA inspection by Nick should have been done AFTER the gutters were installed, not before. The inspection should include both the roof and the gutters, not just the roof. The final invoice should be emailed AFTER the gutters are installed, and all issues are settled.
