DO NOT USE these people. I made a huge mistake in trusting this company to replace my roof. I have a small 1176 sq ft home. Hired Bliss and then my regrets avalanched. Day 1) 5/22/26 I had to babysit the crew and stop them from putting the shingles on BEFORE removing the bad plywood. All day I had to tell the crew what was / wasn't supposed to happen. Apparently, no one told the guys on my roof anything. Shingles added and my roof came out looking "warpy". ripples that were not from tresses or the shingles themselves. I was told to give it a month of warm weather "hopefully" the shingles will relax and warpy effect is alleviated. (tick tock). The crew left their lunch trash & roofing debris for me to clean up. Lucky me. Day 2) 5/23/26- Again, no real clean-up effort and my roof looked terrible. They also failed to do items outlined in our contract. *I called the office* Quentin came out 5/26/26 and agreed the roof was not to "their specs". 6/2/26 Different crew sent to the house, redid ridge line and flashing that butts against the house, and added the vents and secured the insulation as in our contract. Had to stop this crew from leaving before they "fixed" other issues done by prior crew. I.E., The first crew used very long nails EVERYWHERE. So my eaves now have large nail holes & cracked wood where they had used the wrong nails. Before Bliss, the eaves were fine - now I have nail holes/cracks that look like trash. Bliss feels "its fine" as they clipped the nails from stabbing anyone. It looks horrible and I expected my home to look better not worse. Again, clean-up of small debris nor putting on roofs is in their skill set. They went over property (up against house) with magnet & completely missed a bunch of nails & staples that fell 2-3 ft away from house. I have dogs. Today 6/17/26, I found 4 roofing nails just outside my living room windows, where my dogs like to lay down. My "amazing roof" cost just under $20k (WAY More than the other companies I'm learning) and it looks like crap. The valley ridge lines have me concerned for winter and also - I had to call to have them adjust my invoice to remove sheets of plywood they billed me for, but were not used on my home and Quentin took with him (as the crew had left them behind-again no clean up). After Crew 2 was "done" with my trash roof, no one came out to check the work. I did get texts from the office regarding payment however. "The guys signed off that everything was done". Bliss does not understand that just because a worker says it was done does not mean it was in fact done or done correctly. NOW, I'm having a different roofing company come out and give their opinion and possibly "fix" what bliss did. Yes, there's a "warranty" but honestly - I do not want these guys back out at my home. Please note, last year (different area) I had a diff company replace my mom's roof. It was gorgeous-worth every penny. My roof and all of the work Bliss did makes me want to cry. Its nice to drop $19,600 and having your neighbors and other contractors come to your place and ask you whats up with your roof and point out alllll the defects and errors with it.... and then have no input from Bliss other than "lets give it a month" and "please don't post a review". Yes, they asked me what they could do to stop me from leaving a review. ha ha ha FIX MY ROOF!!!!! But alas, Bliss & I may end up in a court room over my "Simple job". read more

All I wanted was a simple estimate for a 8X12 garden shed roof. I had two other estimates. He starts telling me right away how I am in luck because of all their specials AND if I sign today he can add an additional discount. I tell him I don't make decisions under pressure. The estimator wasted a half hour of my time before he tells my he need to do a 90 minute presentation about how great they are before he can give me the estimate. I tell him no, I don't want a 90 minute presentation. So ha goes call his boss (again) and then says, "well since he wasn't able to present his 90 minute presentation he won't be able to give me a bid". I say thank you, good by. The who process feels like a time-Share or a used car lot deal. read more

I had an appt for Bliss to come give me an estimate on a new roof. Inspector (Eric) was a little pushy about getting into the attic. I let him know that getting into the attic is a "no". (We have vaulted ceilings so there are walls in the attic that you cannot get around). Then was told then that the inspection cannot be done. Then got a comment of "what a waste of time" as he was leaving. As a business you should reach out to your customers (homeowners) and ask them what happened and that way you have more than 1 side to the story. I am willing to give my business to a contractor that wants to listen and please their customers. read more

We had Bliss out to quote a fairly simple roof tune up and minor repairs. Response was very timely and the tech was great. I did some very quick online research (AI assisted) to get a ball park of what the costs should be. Unfortunately, the quote from Bliss was double. Not even close. Might have been a case of the job being too small. They included a replacement quote, which I did not need, and that seemed competitive albeit on the high side. Buyer beware. read more

A good company is customer-oriented, keeps their commitments, prices their products fairly, etc. A great company does all this, and when something goes unexpectedly sideways, responds to the issue promptly, fairly and professionally. Hired to swap cracked tiles on residential concrete roof with tiles provided by customer. Very expensive with aesthetically poor work that was left incomplete. Bliss states their estimator "made a mistake" and now claim is work was beyond scope of bid. Essentially, they want to extort more money to complete the job they bid on then ghosted me on without finishing. $2600 to swap 32 tiles (bid stated 50) and haphazardly slap lead caps on a dozen ridge corners. read more

Bliss did a complete tear off of the existing roof and replaced it. The new roof is pristine and they did a great job. My property is difficult to access due to a narrow security gate. The crew found a way to bring the materials to the house despite the challenge of the narrow gate. If I had any tiny criticism, it would be that communication about the arrival time of the team could have been better. But overall, the quality of the work was awesome. read more

In July, I had Scott Parks from Bliss Roofing come out to give me an estimate on fixing a mistake another roofing company had done. I had a partial roof repair done, but the previous company had put on the wrong color shingles. When Scott saw it, it was obvious that there was a problem and that Country Gray was used instead of Autumn Blend color. He came back again with the actual Autumn Blend shingles they had in stock to compare them with what was currently on the rest of the roof. While not a perfect match, due to 15+ years of wear, it was extremely better then what I had. He also called his distributor to make sure there were shingles available, which the previous company said there weren't. They got the job done quickly. After the job was done, their Quality manager, Cesar, did find some repair that needed to be taken care of, and the crew was back to fix them. Hats off to Stephanie, Cesar, Alex, Scott and all the crew. I would highly recommend them. read more

Very responsive from start to end. They were the first to provide a detailed bid, they started the job when they promised, and finished on time as well. Furthermore, they came back and did a final check up a couple of weeks later. Beyond the roof, they were able to replace some rotted wood trim pieces, which had been an eye sore for a while. If I were to nick them somewhere (and give them a 4.8 or 4.9 rating), we have come across some small pieces of debris. To be fair, they have been in obscure places (between deck boards, along the bottom of the fence, etc.). Nothing major. Bliss has done multiple roofing projects in our neighborhood, and I would recommend them. read more

A pleasant experience, from start to finish! From the initial appointment to assess our roof, to the final inspection after the roof was replaced, our experience with Bliss Roofing has been positive. Josh Gardner, the estimator, does a good job explaining various options and components of roof replacement. Sometimes hard to reach, he would invariably respond with information requested. The roofing crew, led by Eduardo, was industrious, neat, and respectful of property, people, and the community. They did an excellent job, and the new roof was installed quickly (two days for 1400 s.f. house) and at a reasonable cost. At the end, they crawled around the house on hands and knees, picking up bits of debris, as well as running a magnet around multiple times to pick up nails and staples. Kari in the office was patient and accommodating when we called in to make payment,wrapping up a near-seamless experience. Finally, I found a contractor that I can recommend. I am a bit of a perfectionist and usually have some issues with most companies I hire. Scott Parks was my estimator who gave me a competitave bid and was on site from day one and followed thru to make sure the crew new my concerns. Then there was Vladamire, a hard working lead man who kept me updated and followed thru the promises I had discussed with Scott. And the final surprise was after the crew cleaned up and left, A quality control man showed up to tell me he was going to inspect the job and would stay until I was happy. What company does that ?? Bliss did a wonderful job replacing my 1200 sq foot shingles roof. I got quotes from three roofers, and Bliss' price came in the middle. What convinced me to use them was how professional they were up front. They gave me plenty to read, and provided a folder with more information. I could tell they were serious about doing roofing right, and they seemed like a company I could trust. A large crew of workers arrived the day that was promised, pulled off the old shingles, put up the water barrier, and began nailing down the new ones. Back the next morning, they got my roof done in less than two days. Impressive! They just had a guy out to give a look for quality control purposes. Bliss Roofing built our roof seven years ago. Last year part of the roof blew off during a storm, resulting in $45,000 worth of interior damage. Bliss graciously repaired the roof and even installed new vents, since a third-party inspector said the roof was insufficiently vented when it was built. (My insurance company paid for the interior damage.) Now, this year, the roof is leaking again and I have found the vents they installed laying in my backyard! My insurance company has since informed me that they will drop my coverage if my roof continues to be a problem. Bliss has sent people to our home three times now, but none have spoken English proficiently enough to communicate to me what's going on. I have to wait for Stephanie, the general manager, to call me after their visits and explain to me that the crew didn't really find anything wrong with the work. (So weird, right???) I certainly hope Bliss will be able to work things out with me, but I would recommend others to stay away until they address their quality of workmanship problems. read more

We scheduled an appointment with Bliss to look at a leak we are having and wanted a second opinion (the first company was great!) and they scheduled the appointment for 1pm on Wednesday. At 2pm we called the office and they couldn't find our appointment but they told my husband they would be at our house by 2 because "there's a lot of traffic". By 2:30 we called and canceled. A few minutes later we received a call from James telling my husband that he was at our house at 11 and we weren't there so he had to leave. He had other things to do. He said that he called my husbands work phone (which he did- he left a message that said "this is James"; not James with Bliss or anything like that- before 11. He asked if we wanted to reschedule the appointment and my husband said no- and James just said "ok great " and hung up. the customer service at the office was not great and the James is very unprofessional. My husband took the day off to deal with this appointment and they couldn't even be bothered to be there. read more

We had two leaking skylights which had been incorrectly installed as well as the wrong product. Bliss replaced them and did all of the work in a timely manner. read more

This is a complicated review to write, based less on the experience we had and more on how Bliss responded to how things went and the eventual outcome. The job itself was a disaster. Without going into all of the gory details, it was bad enough to get the initial crew fired in its entirety and a bunch of after-the-fact corrective work. Trash all over the site, property damage, water damage due to not tarping up, 3 weeks on the site, it was a mess. That said, when things went off the rails, the GM stepped in and was on the phone with me pretty much daily, took direct ownership & responsibility for how things had happened, and made things right between us. So in the end they handled the situation well, and assuming that they can get better crews out in the future I could easily recommend them. My only piece of constructive criticism would be better communication from the bid managers / project managers, both in terms of the specific work to be completed and especially when things start going sideways. The roof looks great, too. :) read more

Bliss did a great job on our roof. Ours was a complicated tear off, provided lots of opportunity for the crews to figure out how to replace sections of dry rot, and was overall a long, hard job. That said, Bliss was continually optimistic and worked tirelessly to make our roof right. The follow-up, after the sale, care has been equally phenomenal as the job they did on our roof. We had dreaded the re-roofing process for years, but there was nothing to worry about after calling Bliss. It was a fairly quick, low impact process. While the whole experience was great--from the visit for the initial quote to the actual roof install--the thing that impressed us the most was how they responded to an issue that was not caused by them. One of the post-work vendors damaged the new roof. When we could not get resolution with that vendor, Bliss stepped in on our behalf to work with them and arrange to have our damaged shingles repaired. When I purchased my home in 2018 (19yo home with tile roof), the previous owners had used Bliss Roofing so I tried them as well and wasn't disappointed! Fast, reliable, professional and friendly - what more could you please ask for? Oh that's right - quality work which I get every time. From preventative maintenance to fixing broken tile and even cleaning (although they don't clean anymore, but have a good referral), I've been so pleased with the work Bliss does, I gave their name to my managers for some of our properties (I'm in the property management business). I needed two skylights replaced in my roof. Before the Bliss bid, I had two others. Both told me I needed an entirely new roof at a cost of $20k+. I just wanted my leaking skylights replaced! Bliss Roofing sent someone for an inspection and said the skylights could definitely be done on their own and I still have at least 3+ years left for my roofing. I'm incredibly happy with Bliss Roofing. I was home for a brief period (have been caring for an ill family member) when I noticed a ceiling leak at my fireplace. Called Bliss and was scheduled immediately for an emergency repair. It then started leaking further into my living room and once again, Bliss came out immediately to put in a temporary fix for the larger area that was involved. It was determined that I needed a new roof, after I had a home inspection done. Worked with Chris O'Brien from start to finish. He was open and honest about the work and what it would cost. It was important to get back to my family member as quickly as possible and they were very, very kind and accommodating. They own all their own equipment so there was no delay in waiting for a dumpster, etc. They started delivering their equipment on a Tuesday and by Friday noon, they were totally done with the work (tear off of old roofing, and wood and placement of new) and cleanup of my property. They left no trace that they had been there, on any part of my property. They even have a quality control person who comes out and inspects the work that was done. It was a wonderful experience and it's not quite over with as yet. My home was built in 1961 and some of the roof work caused problems with my ceiling (plus the wet area where the leak was). Chris volunteered to fix these areas for me, for just the cost of the materials. I look forward to scheduling this with him as soon as I am able. it is a relief to find a company that cares about their customers and their needs as much as Bliss Roofing does. read more

Late November 2021 we needed to have a roof vent removed and the roof patched after our water heater was changed out to a high efficiency unit that now exhausts out the wall of our home. We called Bliss who had previously done our entire roof in 2018 to do the work. They were here the next day and had the work done in less than 2 hours. They put a temp fix on my roof due to being in the winter and not having any open appointment times for their crew to come out. They followed up as they said they would and finished the job in a timely matter without having to be reminded of the temp fix. I had a very minor leak in one of my bedrooms so reached out to Bliss Roofing to investigate and subsequently do the repair. Not only did they quickly identify the roof cause but also identify other problematic areas that needed to be repaired. Their crew came out, did the repairs, all for a fair price. I felt like I was dealing with a fair and honest company. I will follow up on this review in the winter to see if the repairs in fact fixed the leak so more to come. If so, will upgrade my rating. But at the end of the day we all want to feel like we're not paying any more than we should on anything and that is how I feel about Bliss Roofing! read more
