Moving the contents of your house is stressful for many reasons - not the least of which is the fact that you are entrusting your most valued possessions to strangers. But what about when one of those valued possessions is a one of a kind 1929 biplane??? I recently acquired a vintage biplane that was made famous in two books by author Richard Bach. The airplane had been in storage for decades and is in need of complete restoration; because it is an exceedingly rare and treasured aviation artifact, moving it from its storage location near Alliance Airport to my restoration location at Spinks Airport was a stressful and high risk activity. The airplane was disassembled and the biggest component - the fuselage - was dimensionally too large and awkward to load onto an open car trailer for transit. The fabric covering of the fuselage was also coming apart, causing me serious concern about it coming off the fuselage during transit on an open trailer - creating a hazard for other motorists and the airplane itself. The only option was an enclosed moving van with a lift gate and some strong and smart movers to load the awkward and fragile cargo. Cameron and his team showed up on time. They were appropriately dressed, respectful, polite, and prepared. They followed my instructions for loading and unloading the airplane and treated it with respect and care. In less than half an hour, the airplane was loaded and strapped to the interior of the van to prevent it from shifting in transit. Cameron and his team abided with my request for a long route around Loop 820 to avoid the construction, rough roads, and significant traffic along I-35W. After the long tour around Loop 820, we arrived at our destination and the airplane was unloaded with professionalism and care. Very few people who are shopping for a moving company are moving an airplane, but everyone shopping for a moving company should appreciate the exemplary professionalism and value provided by these hard working young Texans. Evolution is bonded and insured and a professional company staffed with vetted employees. Everyone on staff was courteous, hard working, prompt, fast and very careful with every one of my belongings, from small items to large expensive furniture. They covered and wrapped all furniture in record time, I'm talking superman fast, without wasting time. The three man crew, Cameron, Roman and P.J. never slowed down or took breaks, I highly recommend this crew. My furniture was loaded at my home, driven to another unit w/i the same property, unloaded, and assembled in the new unit, all w/o any damages. Prior move from Chicago to DFW resulted w horrible disaster and just as terrible resolution for all the damage and throwing my expensive furniture into the truck. So I was very weary of hiring Evolution. But boy was I glad I hired Evolution! I would give them more stars if I could! Evolution was worth every penny! All three crew members, answered Yes ma'am, no ma'am and couldn't be nicer and speedy workers who never complained of slowed down after six hours on the job. Evolution Moving turned a stressful time into a very positive experience. I had to find movers at the last minute for a long move to Houston due to a mix up with my company and Cameron responded extremely quick with an upfront and affordable quote and was able to schedule movers to load up my apartment a few days after I spoke with him. On the day of the move they kept me updated throughout the day on when they would be there and showed up on time (even a little bit early with my permission) ready to work. Joe and Cedric were great. They displayed a wonderful mix of professionalism and down to earth attitudes and they never stopped working from the time they stepped in until the last piece of furniture was on the truck. They handled all my belongings with care and everything was properly wrapped and it was easy to tell that these guys knew what they were doing. They had my whole 750 square ft apartment packed up and in the truck in a little over an hour. I met Joe and Cedric the next day in Houston and they once again kept me updated throughout the day on when they would be there. The unloading went as well as the loading. They got everything into my new apartment with care (dealing with stairs in a 2nd story apartment) and set up all the larger items where I wanted them to go. They made sure everything was where I wanted it before they left. All of my belongings were in the same condition as before they started packing me up. I hired Evolution Moving for a 75 mile in-state move from one home to another. I had 4 men & two trucks. Terry, Mickey, Gabe & Dallas were my movers. Our move was pretty much seamless which should say a lot right there. These guys hustled all day without hardly a break except to stop and grab lunch which they ate on the hour and thirty minute drive to the next location. The gentlemen were such hard workers - both quick & efficient. They work in teams & their coordination with each other is really well done. They listened to direction & executed it without any issues. Never saw anyone just standing around not working. One thing I was extremely impressed with was how polite & respectful they each were. I received 5 quotes from other companies. A couple were higher in price and a couple were even lower but I chose Evolution Moving because I admired the way they communicated to me from the very start. I could tell I was going to be in good hands...and when it was all said and done, I was. I didn't mind paying the higher price for the great customer service that came with it. Also, if you may be wondering about whether you tip your movers once their job is complete, you're not alone. According to some etiquette articles I read it's a personal choice. I just think when someone provides a service & they work hard & do a great job, then in my opinion giving them a tip is a no-brainer. These guys did do a fantastic job for me so yes, I tipped them. Hands down, the best moving company I've had the experience to deal with in DFW. The guys showed up before they were scheduled to be there, but they did not push to get started or make me feel like just another appointment. The time to move that was quoted to me on the phone was 100% accurate and even 30 minutes faster than I was expecting. There were no surprises other than how great of a job they did on this move (this is not always the case). Like Elise mentioned below, they wrapped all the furniture and put everything back together at the end. I even tried to use two blankets to cover up a TV and Cam jokingly said, "not on my watch." I appreciated that kind of dedication and respect to my belongings. I'm sure they would work with you if you were worried about time, but the wrapping they did for each piece of furniture was maybe a max of 30-45 seconds. I ended up with Evolution Moving because the company I used for my last move didn't seem too interested in keeping me as a repeat customer. Both Sean and Cameron made sure I had a business card and followed up with an email to check on the move and if I had noticed anything out of sorts. No moving company I have used in the past has done this! And I move every year!! I have no doubt in my mind that I will reach out to Cameron and Sean next year for my next move. We were SO impressed.Ted as the lead with Josh, Cooper, and Austin worked hard, were very polite, and endlessly helpful. Giving just five stars seems insufficient. Through no fault of theirs, there we a few difficulties, but they worked through them until we are completely satisfied. This is hard work, but their smiles and team efforts never flagged. I've got to say that Ted went above and beyond in rectifying issues. He spent a significant amount of time, after hours, working on a nagging refrigerator problem. That was special. And I don't want to forget Camron. He was our very friendly and helpful representative from Evolution. We were impressed and confident that what he promised, he would deliver, and he did! Errors happen, and when the team arrived for the job, they were short some clip-on pads he'd promised would be used to keep the doors and tight areas from being scuffed as can happen when so many object move through the house during a move. I called Camron and he said that one of their team would bring so out. Almost instantly, another team member arrived with the padding. I'm 70 years old and have moved around some in those decades. If our move was representative of what Evolution always does, and I have no reason to believe it isn't, look no further. These guys are GOOD. read more

I've always heard horror stories of movers. This was NOT my experience. Sean and Cameron were great from the start. They communicated with me right from the beginning with costs and time frame. The day before the move I got a confirmation call to let me know they would call 30 minutes before they came out the next day. The day of the move they called to let me know they were on their way. We were scheduled to have two movers and three actually showed up. One was in training so we got the benefit of a third mover at no additional cost. Lucky us! All three of the guys were awesome. Joe was the lead mover and he was so organized. He directed and taught while being courteous and helpful. They wrapped all of our furniture and were very careful with all our stuff. We were in a 3rd floor apartment moving into a house and they never slowed down. When we got to the new house they took a walk around to know where everything was to go. They were quick and efficient and I never felt a moment of worry. They didn't need constant direction or oversight from us which was a great relief. Overall great rates, fast movers, sweet gentlemen, and excellent communication. I would highly recommend and will definitely use again when my daughter moves! Evolution Moving Company (EMC) loaded our stuff in an afternoon, and then moved it 200 miles and unloaded it on the second day. They called to coordinate their original arrival time on the first day and their departure and arrival times for the second day. A team of four professional movers, their teamwork, coordination, knowledge and respect for each other and also for us, the customer, was exceptional. They worked steady from the beginning to the end - no slackers in this group. They were extremely polite and responsive to all our questions and requests, their dress was entirely appropriate and they never flinched at any facet of the job, even hauling some heavy, bulky furniture to the top floor of a tall out building we have at our new home. Really impressive people. Over the coarse of our lifetimes, my wife and I have moved multiple times, in-state, out-of-state, cross-country and overseas. EMC, in every aspect of this move, clearly outperformed any of the other movers we've ever dealt with. And at the end of the job, their final bill was in-line with their estimated cost. We could not be more pleased EMC and if we move again we'll re-hire these folks again in a heartbeat. These guys were amazing. I checked SEVERAL other moving companies and Evolution Moving was the cheapest. I had never used a moving company before so I was nervous that I was going to "get what I paid for" (i.e. slow, damaged-ridden service). That was the furthest for accurate. The company was easy to communicate with and they answered all of my questions quickly. The company stayed in contact with me the week and day of my move to make sure everything went as planned. Despite a slight issue with their earlier job, they came to my place quickly and worked faster than I thought humanly possible. The guys were personable, professional, and proficient. They made sure everything was wrapped and secured, so as to not damage anything. Once at my final destination they didn't just dump everything and leave. They ensured everything was where I wanted it and even assembled my heavy bed. My things arrived in one-piece, with zero damage. I have already recommended these guys for anyone I know moving. Due to my job I have had to move several times and have used various movers, but none of them can ever compare to Evolution Moving!!! I was given a window of time, of an hour and was expecting them to be late, nope, Lorenzo, Michael and Zee were 10 minutes early! This was great as I wanted to start my trip home as soon as possible. They got started right away, and never stopped until they were finished. The next day they drove down to San Antonio and arrived on time keeping me informed all the way. Lorenzo and Michael were here to unload my contents, and as before got started right away. They worked extremely hard and kept going until they were finished. They even had to go to 2 places to unload. After all this I thought I was going to have to pay a huge amount, nope it was very reasonable. Lorenzo, Michael and Zee were great, professional and polite. I will NEVER use any other mover again! In fact, I am going to tell my real estate friend about them so he can let his clients know in case they are looking for competent, reasonable and reliable mover!! The 2 guys who came to my house to move furniture and boxes out of the inside of my house and into both my garage and my neighbor's garage were very courteous, nice, friendly and worked quickly and professionally during the entire time they were here. They also were very accommodating and wrapped plastic on all the items that either needed plastic to keep doors and latches closed or any other pieces of furniture that i asked them to wrap as well. Part of the furniture needed to go next door to my neighbor's garage and they were happy to move the furniture next door and place the pieces according to groupings that I designated to keep certain pieces together. The guys were excellent and made the furniture move a quick and easy project that saved me days off my remodel schedule by not having to move the items myself. This is the second time that I have contracted with Evolution Moving and, like the last time, it was a complete success. I would recommend them to everyone who needs quality, courteous, professional movers at a great price. My recent experience with Evolution Moving, from quote to completion, was awesome. Getting a quote was easy, they responded quickly to my inquiry. They gave me an hourly rate that included all items, no added charges, hidden fees - everything was wrapped into the hourly rate. It was so straightforward that I had to ask if there would be any added fees later to be sure. Nope: Hourly rate * time = total due. They had a minimum usage time, that they clearly communicated and was well under those minimums quoted by others. They gave me an idea of how long it would take based on experience. We ended up with fewer boxes and one less piece of furniture to move then originally thought and we hit 10 minutes under the minimum usage time. The guys, Kyle and Tristin, showed up on time and worked HARD. They moved quick, but it was from efficient practices, correct tools, and work experience; they were very careful with our stuff. 2 November 2024 - Once again, Evolution Moving knocked it out of the park. Ethan and Bryce were right on time, loaded quickly and efficiently, and drove everything from Garland to Denton. They unloaded everything with care and did a great job navigating a senior living apartment complex to get all of my dad's belongings into his new space. They went the extra mile to set up his Sleep Number bed and even helped him connect to his Wi-Fi. We will continue hiring Evolution Moving whenever we need to move. 11 December 2024 We hired Evolution to move us from one home to another north of DFW. We were thrilled to see David and Bryce again, along with Armando, José, and Xavier. These men had a great attitude and superb work ethic and skill all day. They filled two trucks in record time and the unloading process was just as efficient. All beds were set back up, laundry machines connected, and furniture set just where we asked. This company is great. The young men are very respectful and didn't mind me giving directions on sorting boxes out for me. They put my Christmas stuff in one area, storage in another and household stuff too. This is the second time I've used their services and they are great. Thank you Ryan, Orin and Enrique. Found Evolution while doing a Yelp Project for quotes on local movers. They reached out fairly quickly with a flat rate quote and I easily communicated with Cameron to schedule things. This was one of the best moving decisions I have ever made as an adult. The whole process was effortless and quick from start to finish. From getting a quote, to booking my move date, and paying the deposit to the actual move itself....I cannot say enough good things about their moving company. The price was super affordable in comparison to other companies, and they made no big deal that both of my apartments going from 3 floor to 2nd floor with both being stairs access only with no issues. The actual three man crew were very professional and I would hire them again. As a single female moving solo, I felt safe with them and had great little conversations with each of them throughout the move making the process seem less of a dread.
