I highly recommend Evolution Moving. I know finding a trusting a moving company is stressful - it was for us too - but if you pick these guys you will be A-OK! They were prompt, quick, efficient, helpful, funny, and didn't overcharge us. They pro-rate by the 1/4 hour meaning, if they only work 15 minutes of an hour at the end of the shift, you only get charged that 15 minutes, and not for a full hour. They took care of all our stuff - they removed the TV from the wall and took off the wall-mounted rack. They disassembled beds and reassembled them. They moved and re-installed our fridge, washer and dryer. No issues throughout. We had a lot of problems with the selling and buying of the new home - you wouldn't believe it if I told you. But the move itself was super smooth. We very much enjoyed these guys and are super happy we went with them. I Have never had a move go so easy. I moved out of downtown to NRH. The guys were careful, very respectful and work hard (so be sure to tip good). They were quick and know their stuff; finished an hour earlier than I would have thought... which in turn cost me less and is much appreciated! They took away all the stress of the move. I would highly recommend this company! The communication before and during the move was impressive. These movers damaged every piece of wooden furniture that I own. They put a refrigerator on my dining table without protection. They put the heavy metal garden furniture on mohagony night stands with no protection. When I called to complain, Cameron lied to me saying that I had no moving blankets and refused to buy his. Mysteriously 5 of my blankets (I ordered 3 dozen) made the move, even though he says they did not exist. He offered me $400 to take down my Yelp review (which seems to have disappeared from this site). The estimate of damages is $30,000. I have had to hire an attorney to sue him to get him to take responsibility. read more

Evolution Moving had great reviews, so I contacted them for a quote. Cameron helped me and was very courteous despite it being late on a Friday when we discussed the details by phone. He gave me a good idea of the cost and sent an email with the quote and information on the company. On moving day Dawson and Dre were so easy to work with. Dawson let me know their ETA when they were driving over. After they arrived, they were extremely careful and quick with packing the pieces we were moving and maneuvering antiques through tight spaces. The move involved driving to Austin and they kept me informed of their progress. My family and I recently made a move from a very rural area to Fort Worth. We sought a good number of quotes from moving companies primarily sourced through Yelp. Evolution Moving is the company we chose. The quoting process was straightforward and Cameron did a good job of accurately capturing all of the costs. I've seen several companies low-ball in the past only to shock you in the end with a big bill that you're obligated to pay. Not the case here, they were right on the money - for what they planned to have happen. Which brings me to my damages. I'll preface with this, I'm not one to move much and all prior moves I've done without professionals. Knowing the standards for liability in Texas is my responsibility, ultimately. As part of the move, I had a large Big Green Egg smoker that was simply wrapped in plastic while still in the metal egg nest and all of the components of the egg in their as-used position inside of the egg. The egg, needless to say, did not make the trip intact and was a complete loss. Cameron was communicative throughout the settlement process and I ultimately accepted a settlement equal to about a quarter of the replacement value of the damaged goods. Cameron's team, damaged goods excluded, did a good job. They were very accommodating, helpful and punctual. Overall, Evolution Moving did what they were obligated to do in the settlement even going a bit above that. Would I have liked to have been made whole for the damages? Absolutely. Was Evolution within its rights to offer me less? Absolutely. At the end of the day, it's a business decision for them and a lesson learned for me. Definitely a mistake I won't make again. read more

We had a great experience with Cameron, the owner, and team of movers during our transition to Austin. First, they charged about $1,000 less than other quotes we received. They also were able to complete the move an entire day quicker than anticipated. I was really impressed with each team member as well. They make a point to shake your hand, introduce themselves and conduct themselves very politely at all times. Lastly, Cameron checks in about a week afterwards to make sure all went well. I can say all of the items made it undamaged. Even the walls of the hallways were unscathed. I don't write a lot of posts but my wife and I agree it was our most pleasant moving experience to date. We were referred by a friend who recently moved. They weren't my first choice, but they were prompt to answer the phone, quote, and accommodate our needs on short notice. Also gave referral discount. Arrived within quoted time window. The young men were very courteous and quick unloading our trailers. Things I think they can improve on... not over stacking items on dolly and not stacking heavy boxes on boxes marked fragile. This repeatedly happened. They offered to help assemble furniture and appliances which was helpful but I'm glad I went back to check because several things were not properly assembled. Bed screws loose, washer not properly hooked up or tightened causing water to spray everywhere first use, one hose wasn't even locked in which drains the water. They did lay mats down to protect floors from dolly but then also used dolly on carpeted areas that weren't protected. Some furniture items were tipped on sides or upside down to move with dolly vs carried. All in all I'd recommend them but I'd double check anything you ask them to assemble. read more

Wonderful Move with Evolution done by KYLER, JEREMIAH, & CARLOS! These guys were great communicating with me ahead of time, on time, clean, respectful, and never stopped moving or complaining. My move was unique in that I had items and boxes going to two separate trucks and the trucks were going to two separate destinations. I marked all the Items for Truck One with blue painter's tape, and Truck Two had no marking. I explained my system and these guys jumped right on board.
