The guy promised me to put on a plastic barrier so my stuff didn't get dusty. I have that plastic right here. The mattress protector is also here. Evolution went above and beyond to work with us as we scheduled and executed my move from Texas to Louisiana, even after Hurricane Ida's destruction of my area. The crew made sure everything went to the right room. The only issue we had was some boxes (10 maybe?) were unmarked, which is in the packing team, which was a different set of guys. They confirmed the day before, and then called to let me know they were on their way. The two young men Joe and Skyler were so polite and friendly, and strong and FAST!!! So this is my first time using movers. I'm a big do it yourself guy but after my last move moving into my apartment and w/ 6 people helping it was such a pain that I opted for movers this time up. I extensively compared quotes from about 6 other competitors and all roughly about the same. Had the the pleasure of having Joe and Pj with my 1 bed room apartment and into a new home. This guys were real nice and polite and were ready to tackle the mission at hand. They were really safe about protecting all my furniture and making sure it was Completely wrapped and covered. They emptied my entire 720 sq ft apt in less then 2 hours. I also had everything prepared and ready to go , had previously packed and moved boxed myself. Needed them primarily for big heavy bulk items sucks couches, washer, dryer mattress etc. And off loading into the new home was even quicker. These guys are pro. Ted and Lorenzo did a fantastic job not only moving my mom into a new place but traveling to a different city 3 hours away with all her items. They took care of every box and piece of furniture, making sure glass and antique pieces were fully wrapped and gently loaded in the truck. The 6 man crew that helped my family move was wonderful! They were very friendly and attentive to what we wanted. They were sure to ask as many questions as they felt necessary. And even took time to talk to my 2 month old daughter. All of our items were placed where we needed them. They even broke down the furniture that needed it and reassembled at our new house. The guys who showed up on time, professional, but the only reason I couldn't leave a 5 star is because the cost when they wrapped up was much higher than I had expected. Originally booked full service load and unload using their truck, wound up only having them load onto our truck, and cost wasn't much lower than if I had been able to use their full service with their truck. For reference for the pricing- 900sqft 1st floor apartment, loaded and transported from Roanoke to Saginaw, and unloaded into a 2 story house est. $550. Not to mention, they came and wrapped EVERYTHING, had their own blankets, covers, dolly's, ect. The sweetest gentleman, asked where we needed items needed to be placed, and just so darn polite! There was a lot more expensive folks out there with worse reviews and tons of cheaper companies with inconsistent or horrible reviews. Evolution was the right choice for our move. One small table leg broken out of a move isn't bad. The mover immediately brought it to my wife's attention. We did nothing about it because it wasn't very valuable to begin with. How many moving companies would have apologized on the spot and pointed out the issue? Joe and his crew took good care of us. The ownership was in contact before, during and after the move. Our crib hardware got lost and they sent us some more. It wasn't the right hardware but they tried and who else would have even tried? I can safely recommend Evolution to anyone. We had two guys show up and move our belongings, from the start I could see that they were being very rough with my stuff then they started causing damage to my couch so I asked that they stop and be more careful. They finally get my stuff moved to my new location , It is a BRAND NEW HOME, never been lived in and they come in and start scuffing up the walls and to top it all off they put a hole in the master bed room wall and then left without saying anything then tried to tell the owner that they didn't even know it happen,which would have been impossible, So I contacted the owner Cameron and it took him several hours to get back to me and he then told me they were honest guys and it would be taken care of but as time went on that proved to be the furthest thing from the truth.He said one thing and did another every step of the way. Cameron said he was going to hire a professional to come fix it, he actually sent over a handy man that was no professional at all, the guy was getting stuff all over my carpets, tile, and tables and he left a can of paint with no lid on it sitting on a bedside table with my dogs walking around and my 3 yr old there, disaster waiting to happen. So I inform Cameron of all of these things that took place and that I wanted a real professional to fix the issue, he begged that I let the handy man finish and that he would pay me for my inconvenience so me being exhausted by this situation already I agreed because he swore to me the guy would make it look perfect, well the guy shows up the next morning and throws some paint on the wall and says well I tried my best and leaves. So I contact Cameron and ask him to uphold his part of the deal that if it didn't look right he'd hire someone that works in repairing dry wall,he then asked me "Do you want the $100 or do you want it fixed? They ended up leaving a horrible patch and mismatched paint job and he did not give me $100 for my inconvenience although I had to take two days off of work to be home so this problem could be "fixed". Cameron lacks integrity and that goes for his employees as well. We paid them $400 to move us and they caused well over $400 in damages. These guys are careless and dishonest. Since I can't change my experience I want to let others know If you care about your belongings DO NOT let these guys touch it. Save yourself the stress and hire someone else. I rarely write reviews of any sort, but I wanted to take a moment to give a review of Evolution Moving. These guys were outstanding! The real estate market is crazy, and we ended up having to move twice. Once out of the old house and into storage units, and then out of the storage units and into the new house. Closing dates on both transactions moved more than once which impacted our scheduled moved dates, and Evolution was EXTREMELY ACCOMODATING! They bent over backwards trying to help us out in a tough spot. They event rented extra trucks, and beat the bushes for extra hands to help get us moved when our dates changed. The crews were skilled and efficient and did a fantastic job making sure all our things made it to the new home undamaged. I can't say enough about these guys. I hate to part with money (I'm cheap!) but I want the best value for what I do spend... and that's what I got with Evolution Moving Company. - Prompt, detailed email response when I requested a quote (didn't even have to give a credit card to hold the date) - Movers called when they were on the way so we knew when they would be there - Professional, efficient, friendly guys (lots of "yes ma'am" and "yes sir") - Took great care with our belongings - wrapping furniture in padded blankets and then ALSO wrapping them in plastic wrap (even though it's mostly Ikea stuff). Excellent movers!! My first contact with this company was with Tom, the district manager who was very helpful with setting up my move in my tight timeframe. He was courteous and thorough answering all my questions and gave me an estimate that was pretty accurate. The moving team, Dallas, David and Kevin arrived promptly at the time assigned to me. They were professional and did not waste any time getting started. They carefully wrapped everything, disassembled furniture and took them down a flight of stairs without damaging walls or light fixtures. This is the first or second review I have written ever. I was thinking I was making an informed decision on choosing this mo ING company over others I could have easily picked. When the 3 man crew showed up to our condo they smelt of weed. I proceeded to take them in the elevator to our unit and noticed it even stronger. As we walked into our condo, they walked right past my wife who immediately looked at me eyebrows raised! She knew immediately also. At this point we were wanting to move out and did not want to delay the process. After painfully watching them work at a slow pace, they finally had the truck loaded and proceeded to Chicfila for a break. After their extended break, I met them at the new condo location, walked up to the truck to tell them where we would be unloading it. Guess what the cab of the truck smelt like? The following day I reached out for a manager or owner to return my call and have still not received a courtesy call back. I was lucky enough to be referred to these guys from a family member of mine. Unfortunately, the day we moved it was raining and about 20 degrees but that did not stop these men from working their best!! Let me just say that I could not of asked for better movers. These guys showed up on time and started moving immediately. They were so professional and courteous. They wrapped everything and stacked it up nice and neatly in our storage unit.
