Randy replied within a few hours to note that the wiring was outdated, and present some other options. I ended up hiring Smart Home & TV Installs just to hang our new tv (opting to deal with the sound system question down the road). They had a booked schedule but were able to squeeze me in 5 days after the initial request, and on the day of the install texted that they were free a bit earlier if it worked for me too. During the install, they wore masks (properly! no chin straps) and boots and were efficient and careful. The finished job looks great. I would hire them again in a heartbeat, and will use them for future home theater projects.
