Some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I took my touring skis in to have the bindings looked at as one of them was loose in the uphill setting. Immediately the tech who looked at them jammed both ski bindings into further than the locked setting and couldn't get them unstuck so checked them into the shop. A day later I get a call that he can't get them unstuck so "what do I want to do." I called back and he wasn't available. Another tech said they would look into it. A day later someone else calls to say "we fixed your skis! Maybe just don't jam them into a locked position." I was like YOU GUYS DID THAT and you still haven't diagnosed the problem with the binding. A day later I call them to see what the deal is and they're like, "oh we do think there an issue with the binding and would have to contact dynafit to see if there's a replacement part." FOUR days later I call to see what the deal is, they say the tech will call me back, no one calls me back. So I come into the store and they're like "oh we're still waiting to hear from dynafit." I said forget it and took my damn skis home. When your staff breaks a customers skis, doesn't communicate with each other, and can't make a simple call to Dynafit to see if a replacement part is available, I wouldn't call yourself a ski shop. I will be taking my skis elsewhere and definitely will not be coming back. read more

I would 100% recommend this store! Everyone is so helpful. Gordy helped me with my first ever ski boot purchase. It took 2.5 hours, but we got there! He was so patient and helpful. I also rented skis with them before and they credit up to $150 on any ski / binding / board purchase you make in the retail store if you rent with them before. 10/10! read more

Absolutely stellar customer service. I got a new snowboard last season from their website, a Nitro. Rode it 4x before I noticed there were some raised bumps on the back of the board and brought it back to EVO. They worked on getting a replacement for me even when Nitro originally denied it, saying it was likely my fault for mounting bindings incorrectly...which even EVO said doesn't seem likely. Anyways. I ended up moving out of state but 2 months later they were in constant communication and contact with me keeping me updated on the status of appealing the warranty claim and today I got a new replacement board shipped to me in CA. The team absolutely went above and beyond and even though I don't live in Denver anymore :( they have a customer for life. Thanks EVO team! Like I said, can't wait to use my new board again in 6 months. ;) Edit to add that the staff was amazing in helping me choose new boots a few years ago as well. We have now taken 4 bicycles there (road and mountain). Unfortunately about a month later on all four bikes, things stop working- whether it's a chain, derailer, tire issues. When my husband called and talked to the mechanic, their response was unfortunate and not one of good customer service. We just wanted someone to respond with asking us to bring the bike back down to have it checked but instead they referred us to their corporate offices. read more

I came to buy Snowboard boots, bindings, and a helmet. I had a super cool dude nam TC help me out. I tried on probably 6+ pairs of boots before I found ones that felt right. TC was so helpful, knowledgeable, and a great dude to talk to. He was extremely patient and got me all hooked up. 11/10 customer service. Another guy helped me find a good helmet and he was also very helpful after all of the helmets on the shelf just didn't feel right. He found me one from the back that fit great! I love this place and their website. I got all my snowboard gear here and when a couple items didn't work out, they made the return process incredibly easy. I also like the membership points program they offer and make it so that if there's a lot of things you have to purchase for the season you can do it and get points to help purchase future items. They also make it easy to cancel items if you read some reviews that make you second guess your decision unlike some places that make it impossible. overall I'd recommend Evo to everyone especially if you find a great deal which they have plenty of. read more

Even though there was a waitlist of an hour he made me feel like I was the only customer in the store, and was very helpful in picking out the right skis for me. Rode for 16+ years before a knee injury took me off the slope for the better part of a decade. Now that I've gotten it addressed, I'm ready to hit it hard again. Technology has changed so much in the time I was down and it was a little intimidating getting back into the sport. Fortunately, I found Evo. I was greeted promptly upon walking in by Will. He was extremely patient and knowledgeable and helped me through the process of securing all new gear! He chimed in with recommendations that he felt would fit my style of riding well - taking the time to explain the logic behind each selection. From the snow up, Will got me outfitted in the sickest gear - all while fostering a super stress free, non-pushy, and friendly atmosphere. This was my second time in Evo but my first time purchasing. Will thoroughly explained the member benefits: the tiers, rewards and all of the other perks that Evo members can enjoy - from money off shop services to cheaper trips to riding and skiing destinations around the world. Their inventory in store is huge and their online inventory is even more vast - insuring you can always find the right gear at the right price. They were already priced better than the competition and the extra 10% back i'm enjoying in rewards made the whole experience that much better. There are a few other stores in Denver that love for my outdoor needs as well, but, honestly, the experience at Evo was such that it'll be the only place I shop going forward for all my snow sport needs. They also have a large skateboard section and their website lists other outdoor gear that I'm excited to check out in the spring and summer. This was an awesome educational experience! I went in for a heat molding appointment for my new boots and instead I got an entire run down on the importance of boots/how they operate! (As someone who has never had the money to use anything but hand-me-downs and cheaper equipment I was blown away.) Shane was super knowledgeable about everything from the type of soles needed to the proper use of extra padding. He was great at not only explaining everything down to the last detail but also giving me a visual of the combination of good boots, nice soles, and proper molding benefits. Fantastic store and great people. I'm from Ohio, and came out for the weekend specifically to get my boots/bindings/mounting done by them. They were able to work with me weeks in advance of the visit to ensure an appt. and mounting time to fit my schedule. Worked with Sean on boot fittings, and he was a wealth of knowledge, and incredibly patient through the fitting. Never felt rushed and he answered my innumerable questions, making sure that I felt confident I was getting the right fit. I have ordered a number of items through their site over the prior months, and at this point, I will not shop elsewhere for my ski gear. I have a few last items I have to get for this season, and I'm purposely holding off buying them until I'm back in town so I can go through Evo Denver. Great work, and keep it up! read more

The service here can be a hit or a miss. I hate to leave a negative review but my last two visits were not good experiences. Went in to return goggles that I ordered online and had an issue with one of the refunds. Made an account just to post this. Im a new Denver resident and needed some guidance on purchasing my first snowboard setup. Stumbled upon the EVO website filled with a ton of information and decided it to book a time slo (super easy) to have an expert walk me through my options. I showed up to my appointment and was introduced to MARISA (sorry if I spelled it wrong!) as the expert that would be assigned to me, and man am I happy that I got her! She was unbelievably helpful and knowledgeable, often answering my question before I had to ask them. I learned more in two hours than days spent researching on the internet. She was also extremely honest and easy to talk to as well as very likeable. She went above and beyond to ask relevant questions relating to my preferences/experience, as well as making honest recommendations on what to expect on pricing when I needed them. I left the shop after my purchase and had a smile on my face the whole way home. If you're new to the sport and looking for guidance on buying new equipment, I can't recommend EVOs personal fitting experience enough. I've had several bikes serviced through EVO in the past and they are always been timely and thorough. I just had a newly purchased used bike built by them and they went above and beyond. They were several days early on completion of the build, and made me aware of the few things that were different from the "norm" as it was a used bike. They even loaned me a set of used pedals until my new ones arrive in the mail. I can't state enough how much the guys in the service department have done to earn my business for the future. I live close to this establishment which I assumed would be convenient for me. I needed a simple repair on my Burton snowboard boot (speed zone lacing system), because one of the wires had broken. I asked if I should leave it for repair & return later in the day but I was told it would take 20-30mins. It literally took someone 2hrs to repair it! Our family summer vacation this year (June 2022) was split between Denver and Lake Dillon, Colorado. We reserved rental bikes in both areas. Evo Denver was exceptional in making sure we all got the correct bikes for our body types and sizes. I'm 6'2" and have a Giant Anthem II XL at home I've been riding for a decade. I love it and I'm picky when it comes to rentals. Evo Denver had exactly the right-size bike for me (a Giant 29er XL) . It was a hybrid which was OK since we only planned to ride the Cherry Creek Bike Path, which is easy, flat and paved. What stood out to me was the "over and above" customer service we received from the staff at Evo Denver throughout the rental process, even upon returning the rental bikes when finished. The staff was quick, efficient, organized, professional yet patient with our many questions throughout. Another standout moment was when an Evo Denver employee came out to our pickup truck parked at the curb and helped my brother-in-law re-learn how to secure his bike rack to his hitch receiver. Evo could have easily rented us one of their bike racks or rented us a tailgate pad but instead, EVO took their time to help us re-acquaint ourselves with our our own bike rack and use it as we'd originally planned. If I ever rent bikes in Denver again, it will be from EVO Denver! read more

When you make an appointment for a ski boot fitting they will talk in detail about each boot you're interested in, make suggestions, and tell you why each boot may or may not be good for your specific use or foot shape. I got a new set up last season and Kevin(?) was very helpful. I got my skis somewhere else but I brought them back here to attach the bindings and fit them to the boots I bought. I would recommend trying to get in before the season starts to get an appointment quickly and have a short turn around time on your assembly. Last time I came one of the employees happily went to the back and found me the exact item I was looking for that hadn't had the chance to be put out on the floor yet. EVO! Wow what a gem. Truly the best when it comes to snowboarding gear but probably some of the best service you can get in a retail setting. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and insanely helpful. I had my two little shredders with me while picking out a snowboard for myself. One of the rockers there (regrettably can't remember her name but know she is an ex-preschool teacher) was great keeping my kiddos distracted while I focused on getting a new board/bindings/helmets. Amazing that she/all the staff didn't treat my kids like a burden - huge in fostering their love for the mountain and all it has to offer. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention my Colorado Shred Consigliere, Zeina! Zeina is insanely snow smart and great with people. I bought a board, wasn't planning on getting bindings there but I bought 'em. Wasn't planning on getting another board for my kiddos today, wasn't planning on the bindings or the helmet but I bought them today because of the service I received. They literally lost my snowboard. I dropped my 2017 K2 snowboard and bindings off this Tuesday after work for a $75 tune/wax. It was able to be picked up Thursday after five and I was given a claim ticket. After 20 minutes of them looking today, they simply cannot find my board. HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE? They are giving me a demo to use tomorrow, a Never Summer that is similar, while I guess they continue to look for it? Don't worry, they'll give me a brand new board, they said. After a lifetime of significant ski boot pain, and after extensive research, I decided I'd like to get fit for & try on Dalbello 2019 Kyra 95 ID boots & possibly the Dalbello Avanti 95. Located the Kyras online & conveniently, Evo showed 1 pair, my size, at a great sale price. Met with Nora today who measured my feet & explained boot fitting in general terms. She listened to my analysis of my foot type & most recent boot issues. Unfortunately store records didn't show the Kyra 95 in stock, but she had me try the Kyra 85 - same boot, same fit, but softer flex. She also brought a pair of Langes she thought could work. Nora explained all the features of the Kyra & had me cruise the store for a while in them. She then had me try a customizable foot bed AND explained why the Dalbello Avanti would not be a good fit for me - different specs. Same with the Langes. All felt great & I have confidence that this boot in the 95 will perform for me without the pain & numbness I've always dealt with. So sad though, Evo didn't have the Kyra 95 in my size. Nora kindly released me to go online & find a pair elsewhere. But after such great service I'd rather buy local. Not thinking the boots would magically appear in my size, I still left my info, just in case. Well super star Nora located the Kyra 95 in my size in their warehouse, called me, & I was able to order over the phone!!! I'll be in for the custom fit when the boots & foot beds come in. Thank you Nora for rocking my ski boot world today! I really appreciate your detailed knowledge of the different boot brands & models & your understanding of proper fit.
