I've used this cycle shop for all my bike needs. The staff is super friendly and the price point is reasonable. It's also a bonus the location to where I live and right next to a King Soopers if you need to run multiple errands. I've gotten my bike tuned and a tube replacement here. I was biking around and got something in my tire and didn't have a patch kit on my bike. Luckily, I wasn't too far from this bike shop and walked over when they were only open for another 10 minutes. Recommended by a homie, on a group ride. Kinda far from where I live downtown. They're very busy on weekends, but when I went in on a weekday, they were able to replace my frayed shifter cable, and re-tension it, so my chain no longer rubs against the cage, in high gear. They did that on the spot, right in front of me, in about five minutes, and having gotten estimates elsewhere, I thought their price was fair. I also bought some other stuff from them, for my emergency repair bike bag kit. Got out of there feeling a lot better maintained, and prepared, for not a lot of money. read more

More of a social club than a bike shop. They never seem to have what I need - although they're nice enough to refer me to REI. A great place to hang out if you've got lots of time. I went in this week with my son's bike, hoping to leave it for new tubes and tires and a tune up, but gave up waiting after ten minutes. Suggestion to the business owner - hire someone to just process customers - and not try to fix every little thing people bring in right away. Also, maybe you need a bigger store - since you've spread all over, across sidewalks and into the street - vending machine and barbecue grill and all. Is a hot dog stand next? read more

I am blown away. This is hands down the best bike shop I have ever visited. If I were a different bike shop, I would send spies to this bike shop to try to figure out how they are so awesome. But it's not that difficult to understand, really. They have amazing staff who care about your bike, they quote you honest prices and don't try to sell you parts and services you don't need, and they foster a welcoming environment and don't talk down to people who don't know as much as them. It's a simple formula, but in all of my years of biking and patronizing bike shops, I have never seen it executed so well. I took my trusty commuting/touring bike in for a much needed overhaul. I do basic maintenance/service myself, but after 8+ years, ~10,000 miles, and multiple loaded tours, it was time for a pro to give it some love. I had a broken chain ring that Dimitri replaced for free, and he gave me a high-quality, gently used cassette for a screaming deal (I believe they salvage parts from broken bikes, which helps reduce waste for the world and cost for their customers). Then, when he discovered that the reason that my rear wheel would not true was that my rim had warped, he ordered a new rim and rebuilt the wheel for a shockingly reasonable price. As an aside, I must also mention how cool it was that Dimitri invited me to come back to the shop to look at my wheel to explain what was happening. He put it on the truing stand, explained how the basics of wheel building and spoke tensioning, and hypothesized how my rim became warped. I'm not sure if he was afraid that I would think he was selling me an unnecessary service, but I learned a lot and it was super cool of him to take the time. I was so pleased with the service that I brought my wife's bike in, too. I was 100% ready and willing to pay for the top-level tune up, but Dimitri inspected the bike and recommended the mid-level tune as all that was necessary. We have now had the chance to take a few rides, and they were beautiful. I don't think my bike has EVER ridden this beautifully. If you told me I was riding a brand new bike, I would have believed you without question. The people here (I mostly interacted with Dimitri and Frankie) love bikes, but not in the snobbish way that one so often encounters in other bike shops. They want to share their love with you and help you love bikes too. Only bring your bike here. Don't take it anywhere else. I would drive for hours to have these folks work on my bike. read more

Bought a used bike on Facebook Marketplace and couldn't get air into the back tire. Luckily, Z's was only a .5 mile walk from where I live. I walked my bike down there and someone immediately came out to check out my bike. He tried to put air into it, but let me know that it was flat. They replaced my back tire in a matter of 5-10 minutes. The cashier also let me know they added some extra support to the rim. I was SHOCKED when I was told the price! I'm not a big bike person so I was expecting to pay $40 for a new tire. I was charged $16! Such a great deal. I highly recommend this shop to anyone who needs bike repairs.
