Never been into evo till today but everyone I interacted with was really friendly and I really appreciated it. Zeina helped me get fitted for some snowboarding boots (my main reason for the visit) and I'm extremely satisfied and really grateful for all their technical knowledge and insight with regards to application, fitment, etc. Basically Zeina is the goat. This place has a great selection, their prices are good, and they have absolutely fantastic customer service. I purchase a number of items a few weeks back, and the boots I brought home just weren't right. I brought them back in, and Chris helped me assess what was wrong about the fit, spent an hour with me, fit me in the perfect pair, heat molded them and exchanged the other pair no questions asked. I'll come back again and again to this little and personal shop. No need to pay too much, go to the giant stores, and get poor service and the run around. read more

Even though there was screening for Covid-19, I got in promptly by salesperson Jerry. He inquired what I was shopping for, and I answered "ski boots". He told he could help with that, as he was a trained boot fitter. Long story short , Jerry was very knowledgeable and friendly. He schooled me on the nuances of boots, and found me a pair that fit me almost perfectly. Although he didn't have the the specific model that was meant for me, he arranged to have it shipped from another store. Great experience, which was what I'm coming to expect at Evo. read more

Everything started out awesome. The guy helping me out was fantastic. However it did not end so great. The gentleman that was helping me out recommend I transport the bikes a certain way. It lead to the frame getting scratched. It was never advised to me that the way that was recommended to me would lead to a $235 bill on top of the rental price. The "on duty manager" kept making excuses. He did admit that the transportation that was recommended to me lead to the scratching, but would not take responsibility. This is one of the best ski and snowboard shops I've stepped foot in! They have all the HOT and NEW 2017 gear to choose from by every company you can think of! Very knowledgeable staff! Great store with trending apparel. I don't interact with people very often but people up front are nice and helpful. In the back customer service is hit or miss but never bad and in the environment acceptable . My biggest issue is the hours. I live literally next door in the apartments and I struggle to get into the store due my work hours. I really like being able to order stuff online and have it shipped to them for free read more

In an attempt to get my husband fitted with new skis, bindings, and boots I wisely made an appointment. We are not from the Denver area, but decided to try and get everything done while on a business trip to C. Springs. We arrived for the appointment and found parking in the back off the alley, but later learned there is also parking across the street. I was thrilled to get off to a good start. Once we Checked in it was only a few minutes before Will greeted us, and began the process to get to know my husband and his skiing abilities as well as where he saw himself skiing in the coming season. After talking through several options, and discussing briefly boots we made a tentative decision. Will recommend a place down the street to get lunch and a drink while we waited for our boot fitting appointment. Again after we returned and checked in Romi greeted us, and took us upstairs to a fitting area. It was a full 2 1/2 hours of measuring, trying on, heating the linings, and sizing the inserts. I can not thank Romi enough for her kind, patient manner. She answered all our questions, and my husband was thrilled with the boot and how they fit. After the boots were taken care of we returned to the main floor and made the final decision on skies, bindings, poles, and a helmet. All with the help of Romi, Will, and other staff members. Cashing out was even a delightful experience! I asked about a military discount, and the answer was yes. We left the skies, and bindings to be mounted. Got an email two days later that they are ready. I'm so excited to head back to Evo to pick up my husbands skis, and I may find a little something for myself too! read more

Found this store online. Went in with the intention to buy ski boots. I was unable to get anyone to assist me. An employee was working with one customer and could have cared less that anyone else was around. This was a lost sale and if you need assistance, I wouldn't recommend going here. Highly recommend buying skiing/snowboarding equipment from a different store such as Christy Sports. I went into Evo with the intent of trying on and purchasing a pair of snowboarding boots. They were somewhat busy at the time and told me they could not assist me with boot fitting. I was okay with that as I was with a friend who is knowledgable when it comes to snowboarding equipment. All i wanted was for them to pull a few pairs from the back for me to try on. However, I was informed multiple times that I would only be able to try on a single pair in a single size (this is mindblowing to me as a former retail store employee). They stated this was the case because of how "busy" they were -- yet I saw AT LEAST 5 employees standing around talking to each other. I went on to purchase boots from Christy Sports (which was just as busy) but they were able to properly assist me and were extremely helpful. read more

I came in around 4:30 on a Wednesday to get my new snowboard waxed. There were three parties being tended to ahead of me, so I waited maybe 5-10 minutes in line before asking for a wax. I guess they felt bad that I had to wait around, because they waxed my board right away and free of charge. I did a lap while they were doing so and their selection of boards, skis, and gear seems to be pretty extensive. I'll definitely be back the next time I need a wax or to pick up some more gear. read more

Love these guys. I've been getting flats all fall long on my bike. Luckily these guys are right around the corner and so very friendly and fast! They even gave me the friends and family discount once because they felt bad for my bad luck with flats (stupid goathead thorns in cap hill!). They were also happy to show me how to fix my own flat. Rented two cruisers for $10/ea for the day (return before 5). This included the helmet and locks. While the bikes weren't anything special they did the trick and the price was right. They did have hybrid bikes available to rent for $20ish so that's the way to go if you want something more nimble. The rental process took about 10 minutes total. read more

Evo Denver is great!!! Bought some snowboard boots there last week. Staff was great, especially Ryan who took tons of time answering hundreds of questions from my son and I. Thanks for telling us about Korua and sharing all your other board and binding knowledge!!! After getting the boots the price dropped a couple days later, so I contacted Evo and was connected with Becca. She was awesome, friendly, courteous and professional. I told her about the price change, she confirmed it and refunded me the difference. Honestly, I didn't think they would be able to do anything, man was I surprised, and it was so easy. Another thing, a lot of customer service people say "I'll call you back" and never do, not Becca, she said she would call and she did!!! It seems to be a rare thing these days, people doing what they say they are going to do!! Usually customer service calls are the worst, not the case with Becca at Evo!!! Thanks again!!!! read more

First visit was promising. Brought in two snowboards for an edge and wax job and the nice gentleman assured me it'd be no problem. When I went to go get them five days later, they still had work to do on them, that took an additional half hour, and they did a terrible job. I talked to several people, none of which were very pleasant, but noting my displeasure, they said they could redo them and to come back the next day. I was hopeful in that maybe that was a good sign, but was disappointed again. Even though they bumped up the service to a better packet than I had purchased, the board I picked up had a crap p-tex job and the edges still felt like they needed to be sharpened. Worst part was taking my brand new board onto the mountain and literally feeling like I was stuck to the mountain because I couldn't get moving due to the wax job they did. read more

Walked in to buy a rebuild kit for a rear shock on a bike I picked up just recently. After some discussion, Nick told me to bring in the bike real quick to see if it was needed or if a full rebuild was necessary. Super patient and answered all my questions. Brought my bike in and he even looked over it real quick and made a minor adjustment. After looking it over, it was determined shocks needed rebuild. Charged me nothing for the quick once over and didn't try and up-sell me on a kit I didn't need. Instead, gave me the name of a specialist who deals specifically with shocks. I was until recently a advocate for this shop. I'd been in for tunes and to buy my odds and ends and felt satisfied. but alas, you cannot escape bike snobs and their rudeness. it always comes out. Like when I go in looking for a specific lock that they don't have and they offer me a different lock for double the price of another local retailer. We rented bikes here for $10/pp for the afternoon. Friendly staff, they gave us locks for our bikes but they don't have baskets. The bikes are more lightweight and a lot cheaper than the bikes you can rent on the street. No gears and the brake is a reverse pedal but we didn't have a hard time biking around Denver. read more

I had a great experience here getting fitted for ski boots. Unfortunately, I did not walk away with a new pair of boots as there wasn't any in stock that fit the bill at the time. However, Brian did a really great job making some recommendations that I could order online to try out. Not only that, even though my prior boots weren't the best fit for me, he made sure to make some adjustments so I could at least enjoy the beginning of the ski season until I could get a new pair. The customer service here is excellent and I would recommend anyone who has issues with their boots to come in to talk with these guys. read more

Great spot with trustworthy bike mechanics. Nick did a proper check over my whole bike then showed me what needed fixing and why. Jeff did an amazing job getting a laundry list of repairs done quickly and professionally; shock/fork service, brake bleed, loose spoke, new derailleur cable, chain, chainring, cassette, tune up and more...I seriously think my bike is running even better now than when I bought it.
