There's a reason why there are so many 5-star reviews here. This is how you experience a proper fitting: 1. Have a thorough discussion about your pain points and goals 2. Measure your data and have your tendencies observed 3. Have that data explained articulately and comprehensively 4. Begin testing combinations- heads, hosels, lengths, lofts, lie, grips, weights 5. Constantly be asked to give your feedback on visual preferences and feel 6. Repeat steps 2 and 3 with thorough communication 7. Receive expertly vetted advice and recommendations without any sales pressure I gained so much confidence from this fitting beyond going home with a sick new putter. More than anything, I gained confidence knowing WHY I have been missing putts lately, and HOW my existing putter was fighting against my stroke. I received a couple really good prompts to strengthen my club path, which yielded even better results, and we were able to determine through numbers, which putting grip I vacillate between (traditional and claw grip) was getting me better tempo, roll and face angle. That information, is unbelievably valuable! Now when I miss putts, I don't second guess my grip, stance or posture and try to correct it mid-round. I know what the data says, and I've ruled out so many variables right away. Alan, you're awesome, and thank you for helping me with my game. 10/10 experience.

Alan was a FANTASTIC fitter, extremely detailed, explained every facet of the fitting and all the technical data. If you want a great putter and a great fitting, work with Alan, guarantee to have a positive outcome.

I have tried Evnroll putters multiple times in the local golf shops and always impressed with the feel and results. Then I was lucky enough to be in the Carlsbad area during a business trip and scheduled a 2 hour custom putter fit session with Alan. The location is easy to find and is very nice and clean inside. The front lobby has a practice green and selection of accessories and apparel. Then you head into the studio and it's a very professional setup. Alan has been doing fittings for years and it tells, he didn't waste any time dialing in my setup. Then we spent the majority of the time just trying couple other changes just to see if they provide any benefit but we quickly came back to Alan's earlier build as the winner. Some may say $150 is expensive for just a putter fitting. However, you definitely get your money's worth and Alan's expertise and experience is very evident during the process. I left after placing a custom putter order that will be delivered to my house within the week. Very satisfied with the whole process and product. Thanks Alan and Evnroll!

    Golf outing!

What a wonderful fitting experience! Alan was great I was fitted in the morning and golfed in the afternoon at Torrey Pines. First hole nailed a 25 footer to save par...wow. I had six one putts, and NO 3-putts. Alan was friendly and knowledgeable. He had me try many different putter heads , shafts, grips, lofts, etc. I strongly encourage anyone who wants a new putter to get fitted. It makes a world of difference and your confidence is so key to putting. Lastly, my son Taylor has an Evnroll putter which I had discretely placed in my bag. It works great but it was a little short for me. So Taylor and my wife surprised me with a gift of a new putter and fitting. I am so happy and grateful. Please do yourself a favor and call Alan to book a fitting. It will be one of the best golf investments ever. Lastly, remember you have 18 holes and they allow two putts per hole. That is 36 strokes - which is half you score!!! Happy Putting, Lawrence

    My new weapon! Thanks Alan!

Alan really dialed it in, adjusted my putter and set me up with another (a bit of an addict with my putters).

I come to this store many times even though it's located near my house in Chula Vista. Aaron and Marcus simply provide excellent customer service. Even if you just go in with a question, they make you feel like family, and above all, they make you feel like your question or concern is very important so you can fully enjoy playing golf. I highly recommend this store, and above all, ask for them. The entire crew is impressively attentive and helpful, but Aaron and Marcus are always there to help you and give you the very best. I'm about to buy my next set of irons, and I'm definitely going to come back to this store with Aaron and Marcus for their best advice...and at the end and not least the prices are amazing ...!!!!!!

Apparently Aaron thought my toddler was one swing away from destroying the Crown Jewels of golf because he rushed over to tell me he couldn't use one of the putters since it was a "$300 putter." I told him, "No problem," but also said if my 17-month-old somehow managed to break it, I'd gladly pay for it. And honestly, if a $300 putter can't survive a toddler gently tapping a golf ball, it might not be the premium product it's advertised to be. Instead of leaving it there, Aaron spent the next several minutes pacing back and forth and staring me down like we were about to settle this on the 10th tee. It was one of the most bizarre customer interactions I've had. I asked to speak with the manager, Kevin Collinwood, hoping he'd simply acknowledge the situation. Instead, before even hearing the whole story or witnessing anything that happened, he immediately said he had to defend his employee. His voice was literally shaking through the conversation, and it felt like he had already made up his mind. When I asked for the corporate phone number, suddenly the apologies started. Unfortunately, that should have been the first response, not the last. I wasn't looking for anyone to get fired. A simple, "I'm sorry about your experience, I'll talk to my employee," would have resolved everything in about 30 seconds. Instead, what should have been a fun afternoon of golf with my son turned into the weirdest standoff I've ever had over a putter. Hopefully they treat the next family that walks in with a little more common sense and a little less "Secret Service protecting the $300 putter."

Four stars for TaylorMade Golf. I'm a fan…read more When I first started playing golf, throughout the 90s and into the mid 2000s, I was a Callaway man. Every club in my bag, from driver to putter, was Callaway. Then, when the USGA limited the size of driver heads to 460cc, I decided to buy a new driver. I went to my local PGA Tour Superstores and demoed a bunch of them. I tried them out on simulators and recorded my stats (e.g. ball spin, club head speed, distance, launch angle, and of course, accuracy). I also checked the clubs out and took them with me to the range. I had multiple demo sessions between two PGA Tour Superstore locations and the range. This was a big investment decision for me, especially since these drivers cost hundreds of dollars each. Brands I tested included Adams, Callaway, Cleveland, Cobra, TaylorMade, and Titleist. After extensive testing, the driver that came out on top for me and my swing was the TaylorMade Burner. I still use the driver to this day with relatively consistent results. I've been very happy with it. It's got a stock regular flex Fujikura graphite shaft and I've had the grip replaced with the tried and true Golf Pride Tour Velvet grip (it's on all my clubs but the putter). Other TaylorMade products I've regularly used include golf balls and golf gloves. I really liked playing the TaylorMade TP Reds before they stopped making them. They felt great. Recently, I've been going through boxes of TaylorMade Dad-isms golf balls. They're more of a gift than a "serious" competition ball. My dad found them on sale/clearance at his local sports store/golf shop. At my skill level, they work just as well as, if not better than, the old TP Reds I used to play. As for gloves, I currently have a small collection of TaylorMade Tour Preferred and Stratus gloves that will last me for years. Again, my dad found many on sale/clearance, this time, at the Golf Galaxy (IIRC) on Hilton Head Island. The gloves feel great. They fit well, are smooth and comfortable, and help give me a good grip on every single one of my clubs. I prefer the Tour Preferred gloves because each one comes with a roughly quarter-size magnetic ball marker on top of the velcro flap; not one of those tiny snap-in button ball markers. Dustin Johnson supposedly wore the same glove (either the Tour Preferred or Stratus, I'm not sure). At the time of writing this review, TaylorMade has a star-studded lineup of PGA Tour players that it sponsors including Tiger Woods, Dustin Johnson, Jason Day, Collin Morikawa, Jon Rahm, Matthew Wolff, Rickie Fowler, and Rory McIlroy. Currently, TaylorMade's most expensive product is the SIM Driver with an MSRP of $549.99. "SIM" stands for Speed in Motion, a "reshaped" driver with a "speed-injected" "Twist Face," among many other features that have been marketed and hyped up. Twist Face has always sounded gimmicky to me, but admittedly, I haven't tried out the relatively new technology yet. Regardless, TaylorMade is one of the pillar golf brands of today and in my experience, they produce solid clubs and accessories. I recommend their products to casual golfers.
