So first off...everything that you've heard about Larry Li and his work is nonchalant. He's true to his craft in making sure the job gets done as quick and as efficiently and as precisely as possible. If you have a Hansshow trunk/frunk kit that you'd feel more comfortable having someone install and you're local to the East Bay/Bay Area, look no further than having Larry install the product(s) for you. He's affordable and dependable. My experience: I had the Hansshow auto trunk and frunk installed on my Tesla Model 3 about half a year ago. He does his work at his house but he cranks out about 3-4 cars a day on average. So don't let the scenery fool you. He had installed hundreds of kits at this point. I was satisfied with his work and he ensured that everything was working according to what you see from the YouTube videos that made Hannshow infamous, notably from i1Tesla and FrugalTeslaGuy's videos on the Hansshow auto frunk/trunk. The product is excellent by the way and I still fathom as to why this wasn't already included straight from the Tesla factory. Anywho, it took Larry about 3-4 hours to install both the auto trunk AND frunk and ensure that everything was working correctly before I left the driveway of his garage. Just a few weeks ago, Larry took the initiative to contact me to let me know about a minor issue with the structure of the car in relationship to the installation of the Hannshow product direct from the company and I brought my car in to Larry to get the situation modified. The problem had something to do with a possible leak or water seeping through and getting to the internal wiring. It's rained and I've washed my car many of times when the product was initially installed but had no issues. However, Larry went out of his way to notify me that it could be a possible issue and went out of his way to fix the situation by adjusting some of the fixtures and wiring - free of charge. So, hopefully, you see that Larry will bend backwards to make sure that the product works the way it is intended. He's a hard working family man and he knows his stuff. I had purchased a Hansshow trunk kit for our Model 3. The install was well engineered and straight forward. Akas, it didn't work. I was in contact with Hansshow China and they sent me an update. Still no joy. I played with it for a couple more times and became disenchanted. Enter Larry; he tried a new controller and that wasn't the problem. He replaced the struts and lo & behold the system worked as it should. But it didn't talk to the canbus. Larry realized that the whole kit had to be replaced. He had brought one with him and he replaced the old kit nicely. He was very methodical with great workmanship. His car is equipped with some of the products he installs and we noticed the frunk opening remotely. We asked if he had that kit with him and next thing I knew was that the frunk was also able to be opened/closed remotely. Larry has to be a very good installer and he shows that he cares with his very particular and meticulous install of the model 3 auto opening frunk and trunk with foot sensor. I had a dash cam that I hooked up by myself like an amateur and he offered to tuck some of my wires for me. I told him not to in case I need to replace the wires. With only a 2 hour work session he did a very awesome job! If there are any other installers and you had the choice, please ask for Larry. You're doing yourself a favor by having him install because knows how to properly wire and hide the wires.
