Pool table

Amazing decor and atmosphere, got very crowded, long line for cocktails. Small space for playing pool, kept bumping into people. Good to lounge in groups in the back if you can get a spot!

Lots of seating like sofas stools chairs in groups so they can accommodate many large groups at once. Really festively decorated for Christmas time, it makes me happy being surrounded by twinkle lights, gather with good company, and sip on some drink cocktails together. Just being together. Server came to the table to take orders and will come back to take more orders if needed

Evil Eye is such a cool bar to be at! We ate dinner nearby and walked over to the bar to get a drink before heading to an event later that evening. Although it looks small on the outside, there's plenty of space on the inside. Perfect for large groups! There's booths, bar seating, and couch seating which made it a very comfortable chill experience. You can tell there was a lot of effort put into the decor. It really added to the ambiance. There was a QR code on the table with the menu. The food and cocktails were extensive. They all sounded appetizing. I immediately was drawn to the ¡Coraje! cocktail which has mezcal, cold brew coffee, vanilla liqueur, nori, coconut cream, and sesame. I needed something with caffeine so I can stay awake since I tend to knock out when drinking. This was a really delicious cocktail coming from someone that doesn't drink often. You can barely taste the alcohol which I appreciated. My friends ordered the Toddy Time since they wanted a hot beverage. It was also really good. It tasted like lemon tea with ginger. You could barely taste any alcohol as well. This is such a hidden gem, would definitely recommend!

most delicious juiciest burger ever. fun place to go with chill aesthetic with friends, coworkers or even a date night. they have comfy couches/cool chairs, a photo booth, pool. literally such good vibes in there with unique cocktails, an easy to order process, and food worth remembering!

Went here with a group of friends and really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and drinks. They had an array of NA and regular cocktails to choose from. The bartenders were friendly as well.

Other than bandwidth, I'm not sure what's taken me so long to review this roomy, hipster-geared bar. For some obtuse reason, the supernatural name reminds me of that whacked Whitney Houston interview with Oprah when she said Bobby painted evil eyes all over the white walls of their mansion. Gratefully there's no such vibe here as the interior feels more like a vintage parlor with plush couches, leather booths, and polished wood framing. I've yet to have any of their bar bites though I've heard good things. I usually just sit at the long, austere bar and nurse a cocktail. This is not a Happy Hour operation nor is it within proximity of a dive. My ample-size Makers Mark & Ginger Beer was $11.95 (photo: https://yelp.to/2NcjsCOG-D. On my most recent visits, I took advantage of their specialty cocktail menu. The $16 Silk Road provided a refreshing tanginess befitting of its evocative name (photo: https://yelp.to/IGLbVnG8oU). It mixed vodka, pisco, apricot, pandan, makrut lime leaf, ginger, pineapple, and lime. Another I've tried was the $16 Devil's in the Details, a whipsnap concoction of bourbon, ginger, coffee liqueur, sweet passionfruit syrup, and lemon (photo: https://yelp.to/UJR4inCOHW). I also want to mention the crew here has always been social without forcing it no matter who the bartender is here. The owners hire well here. I'm sure I'll continue my regular patronage unless they start randomly painting evil eyes on the wall. DRINKS - 4 stars...not cheap but the cocktails were creative AMBIANCE - 5 stars...definitely comfy in a vintage way SERVICE - 4.5 stars...solid bartenders here TOTAL - 4 stars...close to 5 if I came more often RELATED - Exploring the Mission? Fun cocktail bar with interesting drinks! The atmosphere is fun and they have pool and pinball which I always love! The bartenders are nice and make good drinks. Overall a nice spot!

It was crowded at the bar on a Saturday night around 10:30pm, but there was some patio seating out front as well as several lounge and booth seating options in the back in which we were able to find a place to sit. The interior and furnishings had a quirky vintage vibe, with a bit of halloween decor during our visit in late October. There were also a couple of pinball machines near the entrance and a pool table toward the rear section of the venue. The wait for service at the bar wasn't bad, as they had 3 bartenders serving customers. We got the silk road and a whiskey sour, and the drinks were alright, nothing too special. However they do include egg whites in the whiskey sour, worth noting if you have a preference for the way this cocktail is made.

Fried Chicken

Been here a couple of times and really enjoyed each time. The cocktails are creative and have unique flavors to stand out from other places. The fried chicken dish is insanely delicious and craveable. First time having deviled eggs was here and these beet pickled ones with the crispy pork skin chicharron on top were a great first impression. Again, really creative with the dishes too. I like the loungey and laid back interior with low lightinf, funky decor and furniture, pool table and photo booth. We sat in the same booth both times and they come to take your order and bring the items to you. Overall a solid spot to hang for drinks and snacks. Looking forward to going back soon!

The escape room is Alice In Wonderland themed and includes three drinks as part of the experience. Arrived on time for our reservation but were held in a waiting room for about 30 min before we could start. Didn't seem like anyone else was doing the escape room but it was also the week of their biz anniversary so maybe they were just super busy. Phoenix led our escape room and was such a delight. Friendly, great banter, helpful throughout the escape. The escape game is split across multiple rooms with a good diversity of puzzles. Don't want to spoil too much here but they were good challenges. Drinks we incorporated throughout and presented like test tubes that were drinkable in a gulp, kind of like a cocktail shot. Personally, I found the first two drinks to be a bit too sweet, but I liked the third, which was coconut forward. The price is definitely a bit more costly. It was $100/person for a party of five. I understand that it was an escape room + the staff + the cocktails. If you max out the party size, it's about $85-ish per person which I think is pretty solid. Still very unique and fun and glad I got to try it

This place has so much going on. It makes it ideal for so many different things. Hot day? Want to bring your doggie?? They have an airy patio and a bunch of cute tables out front. The patio is covered so when it rains, it's also ideal. Feeling bougie? Order some oysters and a glass of one of their fancy cocktails. Handicapp or have kiddos? They got you covered. Need a cool place for a dinner date? There's tables inside. Have a group? Also not a problem. Feeling peckish and just need to get out of the house? Go sit at the bar, order a beer, and watch the game. Make sure to order the thrasher fries with malt vinegar salt and pepper and Dijon and black pepper aïoli. It is truly as delectable as it sounds, and by far my favorite thing there! That being said, I am a french fry aficionado. We also tried the coconut chicken sandwich which I found to be a bit different than a lot of standard fried chicken sandwiches. I did ask for the chili sauce on the side because I don't like it to be too sweet. Boyfriend loved it with the chili sauce. I liked it without. I did order a side of aïoli. Another thing I found really nice was that they use the chicken thigh rather than the breast. Most of the fried chicken sandwiches I've had use the breast and this was a very nice change. The chicken was juicy and the sandwich was super tasty. They offer all sorts of tasty delights, like fish tacos, mochicko chicken bites, mac & cheese with or without bacon and crab! Yum. If I was to make one recommendation, it would be to add another salad to the menu. Your menu offers a wonderful variety of delicious treats that are on the richer and heavier side so having another option for something on the lighter side would be fantastic. The service here was outstanding. We came early on a Tuesday, and the bartender was great. She was very helpful and excellent at her craft. The other staff members were equally friendly and so welcoming. We don't get out as much as we'd like to anymore because we have a little one so it was awesome to go out and be treated with such kindness and great hospitality.
