I am recent postpartum and not super comfortable in my skin and she took the time to help me choose pieces that made me feel comfortable now but will be able to wear going forward. Last summer I bought a top there from the company Velvet and asked to order another. The salesperson said I would hear back, and I never did. I ended up buying it online for $30 less. Recently I went to the store to buy a belt. The salesperson directed me to the cubbies around the store but wouldn't answer questions about available sizes. All she told me was the brand. Again, I went online to buy the belt at a lower price than I would have paid at the store. I will return to the store to browse for brands but will buy elsewhere until the customer service is comparable to the quality of the merchandise.

I replied, "it's 5:00," to which she replied, "we close at 5:00" as she stood by the door. No asking if I was still looking; no asking if she could help. The only reason I shop at this over priced shop (which has clothes one can get at the Village or even Marshalls!) is to "shop local." No more. I know the employees can't be getting paid much, but that terrible customer service is really bad for business.

After calling 10+ shops in the Bay Area, Heirloom Engravings was the first to say they can do it - and they really delivered. Wade, the Master Engraver, is a true craftsman. He knew the materials inside and out, guided me on the best lettering style, and his workshop reflected someone who genuinely loves what he does. Heirloom did a perfect and speedy, fairly-priced engraving on a sterling silver Tiffany bowl that…read morecame out great. My project included a custom design on the curved surface of the bowl, along with an engraved date. The work looks amazing and they were very easy to interact with. Dropped off Thurs and was ready Tues, coulda been even faster if needed. They apparently have a history of engraving for Tiffany, and it's clear that their primary business is NOT bowling trophies and Little League plaques. I visited 3 other shops before going with Heirloom and it was a night and day comparison in their favor on expertise, confidence and quality.
