    My golden doodle

If I could give no stars I would! Walked in with my 6 month old golden doodle who was just bathed and groomed 5 weeks ago by a different groomer but this would be his second time coming to Everything dog. The front desk tells me the groomer would come out to talk to me. Instantly after seeing my dog she has a rude tone telling me she'll have to shave him down I tell her I did not want that then she proceeds to tell me that his hair is matted and she can't fix the work others didn't do and that she would have to charge me and that she didn't know my budget. This is my second dog bringing to this place and I've never even asked for price I just pay tip and go. It was her energy from the beginning she did not want to groom my dog and her energy gave that as soon as she opened her mouth. I attached a picture of my "matted" golden doodle. NEVER AGAIN. Find people who like and want to do their job because this is unacceptable.

    home after a nice bath!

The owners are amazing and they seem to love Quinnie as much as I do! Quinn can't wait to jump out of the car when we arrive! She is well exercised and nice and tired when we get home. a 1/2 day does the trick. They also give a great bath and blow dry if requested before you pick her up.

An example of how Everything Dog has groomed my dog in the past. We were very happy with this experience and result.

I just had the BEST experience boarding my dog at Home Away from Home/Greater Boston Dog in Easton…read more MA! My dog has stayed there several times, but this most recent time, she developed GI issues, so they switched her to a bland diet. After 24 hours of not keeping the bland diet down, they brought her Urgent Care, where she had an xray to rule out a blockage and received fluids, anti-nausea and probiotic meds. Then they brought her back to the kennel where they got her to take her meds and she was able to keep the bland diet in. For those 2 days until I returned, they kept me fully informed, made recommendations but asked me what I wanted to do, conuslted with Urgent Care and my vet, and took care of my dog like she was their own. Jill, the owner, even gave me her cell number so I could reach out at any time, and texted after I picked up mt dog to see how she was feeling! I'm so grateful for their experienced guidance during a stressful time and the TLC my dog received there, I'll never bring my dog anywhere else and you shouldn't either!

It has come to my attention that my dog's profile was extremely incorrect. The kennel did not even have that he was neutered on his profile which restricted him from socialization (he got neutered at 4 months old) and had been going there since after he was neutered. There was a lack of communication from the kennel which really hindered our dog's experience. This is no longer a place that I trust my dog at.

Patty, the owner seemed lovely. I wasn't thrilled about the size of the crates 6x4, but figured we could do a trial run for 1 night before his actual stay. We agreed on a day and time for me to bring my cat and the day before she asked if I could come at 9:00am instead of 9:30am because she was heading out for 2 hours at 9:15!! WHAT?? She thought nothing of having me bring my cat who had never been there before, shove him in a crate and the leave right after he gets there for 2 hours? The whole point of me bringing him was for her to meet him, see how he does. When I asked if it might be better to bring him later that day when she would be around, she said no I'm having company!! Again WHAT?? How much attention and time was she planning on spending with my cat who would probably have been frightened as can be. I would NEVER bring my cat there and I'm so happy that I learned what she's truly all about beforehand. Looks can be deceiving!!

Extremely Disappointed - No Patience for Puppies or Professionalism…read more Honestly, this has been the worst daycare experience I've ever had--and I work at a vet clinic, so I'm familiar with the standards of care and behavior management expected around animals. On just my puppy's second half-day, I received a call saying he was being kicked out due to "anxiety." He's a 5-month-old puppy, still learning, and yes--he chews, like all puppies do. Instead of redirecting that behavior or giving him any sort of chance to adjust, the manager claimed he was "destroying property" by chewing the fence and decided he was not a good fit. I was told he was pacing and not playing with other dogs. But pacing doesn't necessarily mean anxiety, and he has never shown signs of anxiety in the month we've had him. In fact, during his first visit, the staff said he was sweet, well-behaved, and even called him their favorite. So which is it? It felt like a complete 180 overnight--with no attempt to work with him, redirect behaviors, or help him settle in. Puppies need time, patience, and structure--not to be written off after one or two short visits. The experience leads me to believe that the staff, especially the manager, may lack the proper training or understanding needed to support puppies still in their developmental stages. I truly hope they consider additional training in animal behavior and communication--because right now, it seems more about convenience than care.
