Our dogs have been groomed at CC for years now and my son's dog, who lives in Milton, is also groomed here. We recently started sending our mini poodle to day care as she needs socialization. She is having a blast and we can see the difference in her already. She used to run behind me when dogs or humans came close to us on the sidewalk, that has stopped. She's not super friendly yet, but she will be!

Shaved one side forgot the other

Pitiful haircut. Didn't cut evenly cut face too short forgot to shave both sides under belly bum area uneven and on top of that when I went to pay told me it would be 95 each time instead of 80 because fur changes as dog gets older -really? She is almost 1 and a half. Won't go there again.

I have been taking my dogs there for years. It is the closest you will find to taking care of them…read moreyourself. Everyone who works there is fabulous and such a dog lover. Julie the owner, I just cannot say enough about her. She is one of a kind and an incredibly caring, wonderful person. Recently I took our 2 labs to be boarded while my husband was having surgery. My older lab who was almost 12 developed an emergency medical condition (she had underlying medical problems), Julie notified me there was a problem and rushed my dog to the emergency room. Unfortunately my dog had to be put down and Julie was just so compassionate throughout the whole process. She had taken beautiful pictures of my dog while she was there and healthy and presented them to me and one was beautifully framed. I cannot say enough about this woman and facility and her caring staff. Whether you need boarding or your dog needs a day of play at doggie daycare, this is the place to go.

I just had the BEST experience boarding my dog at Home Away from Home/Greater Boston Dog in Easton…read more MA! My dog has stayed there several times, but this most recent time, she developed GI issues, so they switched her to a bland diet. After 24 hours of not keeping the bland diet down, they brought her Urgent Care, where she had an xray to rule out a blockage and received fluids, anti-nausea and probiotic meds. Then they brought her back to the kennel where they got her to take her meds and she was able to keep the bland diet in. For those 2 days until I returned, they kept me fully informed, made recommendations but asked me what I wanted to do, conuslted with Urgent Care and my vet, and took care of my dog like she was their own. Jill, the owner, even gave me her cell number so I could reach out at any time, and texted after I picked up mt dog to see how she was feeling! I'm so grateful for their experienced guidance during a stressful time and the TLC my dog received there, I'll never bring my dog anywhere else and you shouldn't either!

My husband and I and our buddy Suse (boxer) had just recently lost our buddy Jake (boxer) of 8.5…read moreyears, totally unexpected. We were heart broken. So we grieved and then started a search for a new buddy. After a long and arduous search we came across Soares Farm Kennel on the Breeders Club website. We decided we wanted the last puppy he had from a litter of English Bulldogs. So Suse and I started out from Leeds Maine at 2:30 PM on a very cold day to get supplies, car harness, collar, chew toys, etc... picked my husband up at work at 4:30 and headed for a 3 hour trip to South Easton, MA. We were anxious to say the least. We had read reviews, some good, some bad. When we arrived we called Kurt and he came out to meet us. Very nice home and very nice person. He lives at end of road with a very large plot of land. There is a very long dirt drive way to kennels that is all gated off and locked. The kennel was a well built building like a home with windows etc... I stayed in the car with Suse while he took my husband in to get the puppy. When they returned with the healthiest little fat bulldog I was relieved. Kurt gave us the rest of the bag of puppy food to help with the transition to the food we feed Suse who has major allergies. He also told us about some holistic medicine that helps with the antibodies that Suse is missing and probably the reason for allergies. He had been through all the shots and such which did not work and Kurt said he tries to do the holistic approach. A man after our own hearts for we are very "Organic" folks. On the ride home Craig proceeded to tell me how clean the kennels were and not smelly and nice and heated and very well maintained. It has not been 24 hours but so far this little guy did the 3.5 hr ride home and slept through the night and is very well adjusted. Not timid or any separation anxiety. So I believe the dogs are very well cared for. Lets face it breeding is no different then farming or raising of any animal, there are good farms and there are badly cared for ones. This dog "farm" is a great one! Who knows we may go back for another little buddy. Welcome to your "furever" home Stig!

I can't say enough about the dogs we purchased from the Soares farm. We just purchased a third dog…read morefrom Kurt over the last 14 years. Kurt was flexible with his schedule and great to deal with.
