She is a needle in a haystack. Lori will treat your fur babies as her own. Her business etiquette makes you feel like she is family from day one. Her daily communication with you about your fur baby will put you at ease. She has been watching my pug and cat for many years. She has also helped me out in emergencies resulting in multiple two week hospitalization stays. She has even gone over and beyond helping me make a difficult decision to leave my pug with a nurse at the hospital, where I was admitted. Lori had her wedding that week. She spoke with the nurse. Then went to my home to prepare my dog to for her week stay with the nurse. She met the nurse at my home and did the transfer. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my fur babies. Also, having a older pug it gave me a piece of mind knowing that she is pet CPR and FIRST AID CERTIFIED. I have also nannied over the years for families that have also used Lori as a pet sitter and dog walker. Please reach out if you need a reference if you move forward with Lori

We particularly appreciated the lab work being done in the exam room to help calm our big anxious golden retriever. The follow up phone calls were great to keep us in the loop for results. I say with certainty after bringing Lulu here as a patient for checkups and diagnosing a serious health condition; after boarding her for multiple staycations (about 4 weeks in total); and after finally bringing her here to cross the Rainbow Bridge when it was time. She took a sharp downward turn, I made the decision and the staff was there for her, and for me. From the check-in at the front desk to Dr. Burke and his nurse we were treated with care, kindness and empathy. My sweet girl crossed gently. with dignity, and throughout the entire visit I also was treated kindly and thoughtfully. A handwritten condolence card arrived a few days later, acknowledging my loss, which still makes me tear up every time I look at it. When I'm ready - I don't know when that will be, but when I'm ready - my next best friend will be treated here too.

Spiro does make sure that the dogs are safe and well cared for. My pup has never been injured or hurt even though he's a rough and tumble puppy. The prices are in line with others in the area so it's not outrageous and you can tell that all the dogs here are very happy. Spiro knows all his customers (the pups) by name and is a very open and honest man. I always confer with him about everything from leashes to preventative care (he knows the breed) to training.

It would take a few days for her to return to her normal self. A friend told me about Stavros and to try Brigadoon instead as he had a real gift in dealing with dogs. Well, I just had to leave her again for a trip to Europe so I booked her into and was nervous the whole trip over how she would cope. When I picked her up yesterday, I couldn't believe it. Her weight, her skin - everything looked great! She was excited to see me, but not in the usual "get me the hell out of here" way. She came home and was her normal, zany self! I'm so grateful to Stavros and the gang and will not even consider another kennel next time. I can't recommend this place enough.

Warning: if you are thinking of coming to Serenity, DON'T! You will regret it, and it's not worth…read morethe risk if you're particular about how you want your dog groomed. We have an eight month Cobberdog (Australian Labradoodle), who we took to Serenity yesterday for his third visit. The first two visits were their "puppy package"...which is trimming the bathroom areas, cutting nails, wash/brush/dry to get them used to the experience. We had the same groomer each time. She greeted our dog excitedly at the start of each session, and walked him out at the end to discuss with me how it went. The first time was great. The second time, she mentioned that she found a couple knots behind his ears, and I told her we had a hard time getting them out there. Later when I got home, I noticed that the knots were still there and his nails didn't really seem trimmed. I chalked it up to maybe her missing one or two. At both of our first two visits, even though he was only getting the puppy package, I stressed how we like the shaggy look and don't want his hair to be short/shaved ever. Yesterday was scheduled to be his first actual cut. The groomer met us as usual, and we discussed length. Again, I stressed multiple times that we want to keep it long, and wanted just a trim, no shaving. We agreed to about half of his current length. I pointed out that he still had some knots that we couldn't get out on his beard and behind his ears, and if those had to be cut out, that was fine. She let me know that since this was more than the puppy trim, it would take longer (the first appointments were about an hour to 90m). Four hours went by without hearing anything, so I called to check in. The groomer informed me that he was just up on her table now and it would be another 30 minutes. She mentioned that he had more knots than she originally thought, so she had to do a bit more than planned. When I arrived to pick him up, I didn't even recognize him. She shaved him from head to toe--and not even shaved well at that. The groomer never came out from the back of the salon as she always has to talk to me, and instead had two other women awkwardly check me out. They knew by my reaction that I wasn't happy. I left without saying a word. We wash and brush our dog weekly, and he did not have knots/matting all over his entire body. EVEN if they started the bathing and brushing and found that he did--it was their obligation as professionals to call me to discuss and see if I wanted him shaved. I would have declined and brought him somewhere else. They didn't do that, because they aren't professionals, they're hacks. Finding a good groomer is hard, steer clear of this place at all costs!

They seem to genuinely love the dogs that come in there. I do wish the price was a little bit less, but for the work they do, how he looks, and how he's not stressed at all, it's 100% worth it.
