This review is in 2 parts, first the service is perfect and they have awareness of those with special needs. Aly is a wonderful person, she picked out swimsuits for me, let me try them on and knew how to help customers with medical conditions. A truly wonderful person! Second part, the swimsuits are over priced and not the quality one expects. I was shocked how after one wear the swimsuit bottom lost all form and the elastic became so loose that it doesn't fit anymore. I can't say enough good things about this place I have never seen so many bathing suits and they take their time to make sure that you're happy .they have every single color and they have patience that they understand that women are all in different sizes. Zero stars. My girlfriend and I saw a sign on their door at 2:15pm that they are closed until 3:15. So we waited and came back around 3:25 but the sign now moved and read 4:30. We were confused for a bit and stood outside the door figuring out if we should just come back another day. Meanwhile, the same lady that was walking around inside earlier, very aggressively opened the door and said: " YOU KNOW WE DO GET LUNCHES RIGHT??" My friend meekly said sorry we just thought it would be open as the sign said 3:15 earlier but now it says 4:30. The rude lady snatched the clock sign from the door, turned it around to our faces and said this is 3:30! Not 4:30! (Apparently she even moved it from 3:15 to 3:30 or whatever, anyway...) Then she turned her back on us just like that and walked into the store. We were both stunned. She might as well have slapped us in the face. My poor friend was still going to follow the rude lady into the store and I said..are you serious??? That lady is a B#*+...we do not need swimsuits that bad. No thanks! I pulled her away and later happily spent our $600+ elsewhere that treated customers with respect and no judgement. You can shove your swimsuits up your rude behind lady! This was on 7/7/22 Thursday. To the Business Owner of Everything But Water, You write back to me 'We will review the video to determine the best way to better train the Associates on how to better serve all customers', with NO APOLOGY of what my daughter and I had to endure. It was Dec 14th. In outrageous cases like this, a discussion is your best remedy (if you intend to keep your racist associates). A discussion with the customer affected. When people discriminate that blatantly; they need to truly understand, be enlightened and educated (old as they are), so that they might empathize. Only then can you talk about 'determine the best way to better train the Associates on how to better serve all customers'. I just had the most horrible experience at this store. The two woman Laura and Beth were so rude to me when I tried to exchange and online purchase. They told me as soon as I showed them my items that I couldn't return the items because I had purchased them on sale and that sale items are final sales. I told them I understand but was looking to get store credit to purchase something else in their store that fit since the item I bought I never tried on. They said no that final sales were final! I completely understood but find it hard to believe that they couldn't accommodate an exchange or store credit. I have been a customer for over ten years and never had any issues and I have purchased many regular priced items. I tried calling customer service but they were closed and when I informed the ladies they gave me a condescending answer "oh our office is located in Florida" and when I proceeded to ask if they can accommodate me again they said I had an attitude and said I can talk to their director. Mind you I never once rose my voice. These were Caucasian women in their late 60's and I'm a Latin woman in my 30's so I felt very profiled by them. After I informed them I would like to speak to their director they told me to leave the store! Never in my life have I been treated this way and yet alone kicked out of any where for simply trying to exchange something. I would recommend anyone I know to this store because I always loved their merchandise but now I will never shop here again and I will advise everyone I know to do the same!!!! If I could leave zero stars I would! I'm leaving a picture of the woman I encountered today so you all can know what they look like. And I would caution to buy anything from this company especially online since they don't help you when you need to exchange. This is so crazy to me and disappointing. Never had a store make me feel like this in my life! **Update I emailed customer service and they confirmed these horrible woman's behavior towards me. Bikinis. I dread shopping for these because I have a tough time finding something that fits me well. I have been sporting one pieces for the last few years and it's time for a change. Everything But Water actually made me enjoy bikini shopping for the first time in years. They have a large selection of swimsuits and have something in almost every size and style. Prior to coming to their store, I browsed around their website and found a top that I wanted. Sadly it was not available in the store but the sales associate was more than happy to pick out a few options for me to try out. While I did find a bikini top that was the perfect fit, I was still set on the top I found online. She was more than happy to place an order and have it shipped to me. I really appreciated that she was willing to do that. I highly recommend Everything But Water. Great selection and service. read more

The staff is very nice but they have zero selection in both locations. I've just wasted my entire lunch break to drive around looking at the same crap. They have about 10% of online selection and anything you see online you can't return. This sucks because as far as I know there are zero other swim shops in Seattle and I'm screwed. I walked in not expecting to even fit into anything (I'm a chesty 14/16). I hate bathing suit shopping and had been disappointed at every other store so I was feeling desperate. I would not normally consider spending this amount on a bathing suit. Angela helped me and was honestly one of the best people I've ever shopped with. I have pretty high expectations as I have worked customer service for a decade and was in retail management for several of them. I don't think I even picked out a single thing. She listened to what I was looking for and she REALLY listened because her suggestions were all great. For the first time since I can remember I left with a bathing suit that I love. I also purchased a rash guard from her. Currently I have been losing weight so after trying it again at home I decided I wanted to get the next size down. I took it in and the person who helped me was also amazing. She even played with my toddler while I searched my phone for the copy of the receipt! I haven't gone on my vacation yet but everything feels very well made. If I have any issues I'll update my review. read more

I went to Bellevue Wa store to buy some swimsuits for a trip to Italy and had the BEST experience one can have buying swimsuits. The manager Laura was beyond helpful, listened to what I needed and found me 3 swimsuits and cover ups that I would of never picked out on my own. I have 14 years of retail experience and had the best shopping experience ever with Laura. I will not go anywhere else! read more

I'd give a 0 if I could. small variety of swimsuits, only found 2 actually cute ones. There were 2 workers and they were both Judgy. They didn't make me and my friends feel welcomed, especially... one of my friends waited 10 minutes for a fitting room and every time they would put another customer in it. They didn't care about her, only the other customers.... Super rude, will not buy from there. Bad customer service and not good swimsuits, especially for the price. Not impressed!! My advice if you are looking for swimwear- Never buy anything from "Everything but Water " at Belle Sq. Bought a swimsuit for vacation- and it wasn't cheap- put it on the first time and the stitching ripped - the stitching created part of the design on the front. Went to return it today -with receipt- and was told it was outside their return policy. Even though it's unwearable!! They told me to call their customer care line and see what they could do! The manager didn't engage with us at all! If I would have bought the swimsuit at Nordstrom I'm sure I would have had my money returned! Totally not impressed with their customer service and I will NEVER buy from there again. read more

The lady I worked with was FANTASTIC, but their customer service is horrid!! I lost my receipt and originally called to just get a copy of it.... they don't do that. Not sure why, but they won't and were super rude about it. So I decided to just return the unused, tags still on, under 21 days (per their return policy) and the lady at the front desk literally pushed the suit back over to me said "we don't return without a receipt" AND WALKED AWAY! I am still blown away by how rude she was. I had to call in after I left to see who I needed to talk to about this behavior. They told me that no manager was on and that there is only an email address for customer service (which is a lie). I emailed customer service and they also said I was basically SOL for losing my receipt and I was stuck with all this merchandise. Clearly this is the only way they make money. I was never told at checkout that if I lose my receipt not a single person here will work with me and I am stuck with what I bought! I am blown away by this. Although my in store experience was great, I will NEVER buy from here again because once they have your money, they don't give a rats ass about you. So pissed off by this behavior. Friendly staff. Nice part about this store is you let them know what you are looking for and they pulled 15 suits for me to try on. Swim suit shopping is always a stressful outing but it was much better only having to change out of street clothes one time. They checked in every so often to see how things were going and brought some more suits for me to try. read more

I recently went into the Bellevue store the weekend before I went to the Bahamas for my 20th wedding anniversary. I had put off swimsuit shopping to the last minute before the trip, filled with dread over past experiences elsewhere. The service here was excellent! The salesperson was thoughtful and helpful. She asked me how I wanted to shop and if I wanted help, which a great start. From there she asked me some key questions and began pulling sizes for any suit I admired - she said just hold up any size I wanted of the suits that caught my eye and she would get the right size for me. She also picked options she thought would look good on me. The options were arrayed for easy viewing in the dressing room and I dived in with determination and gritted teeth. I was delighted to find not one, not two but three great suits that I liked in surprising short order. I was also in and out of the store in a half hour. Unheard of in previous swimsuit expeditions. Thank you so much for making this not only painless but delightful, easy and best of all, successful!!! read more

Agree with the other post that the clerks here are so unpleasant, never asked to offer help finding anything. I couldn't identify who is working here after browsing for 30 minutes, because no one came to offer any help. I was waiting alone outside the fitting room for 20 minutes, several clerks walked by and paid no attention to me, said nothing. Then a fitting room turned available, someone came up and told me there are other people waiting before me. Well, first, I can't even be sure this short hair middle-aged lady works in the store because she never greeted me during all the 20 minutes I was waiting right outside the fitting room; second, I was the only person waiting outside the fitting room for 20 minutes, didn't see anyone else. This store definitely needs to find more pleasant clerks to keep business going. read more

Walked into the store to find a suit, was greeted by a very unpleasant long blonde curly haired middle aged woman. Perhaps she was having a bad day, but she was very rude and inconsiderate and angry. Perhaps she was having a bad day, but needless to say I will not be shopping here again.
