They were so personable, friendly, and helpful. Able to offer suggestions which helps my indecision a great deal. My partner actually became suddenly nauseous and threw up outside in a trash then one of staff was nice enough to come give us a complementary water bottle. Went above and beyond. read more

I typically read the reviews but didn't this time. I saw the place online, drove 14 miles from SRB, and thought "no way they could disappoint ". As a local and I want to support local businesses when their quality matches (or exceeds) my expectations - no charities! When you walk in, you truly get the sense that you are visiting an authentic bagel place. Big fluffy bagels on the wall. Plenty of smear options. Friendly, attentive staff. Good number of customers inside. I purchased two of the same sandwich for a total of $30 - everything bagel with bacon, egg, and cheese. They both looked identical to the photos I posted (this one was mine). Here's my review... The bagels were hard as if they were "day old" (we purchased at 10am). The eggs appear to be premade. The portion of bacon and cheese was strikingly minimal. A sandwich that cost this much should have the contents flowing out of the bagel as in their examples when you walk in (my opinion). I treasure the money I earn and nothing upsets me more than paying too much for something this bad. I've never paid this much for a similar style bagel at an airport - and it's always better than this. I literally finished the bagel and said to my wife afterward... "that was the most difficult bagel sandwich I've ever eaten". I don't waste food. I don't share these details to be mean or malicious to the owners of this establishment. They just need to do better. As a consumer, I have to make the choices that are best for me and my family. And, when I had a more fulfilling Jersey Mikes sandwich yesterday for $10, it makes it easy to never come back. I can't fathom why two bagels that taste like it was made last week along with premade eggs and sausage would possibly cost $40. I arrived at 8 am so I wouldn't imagine the bagels had been sitting long if they were freshly made. On top of that, when I opened my bagel you can imagine my shock when I find that my sausage patty barely covers more than 1/4 of my bagel. The interior is very cute and modern and the bagel selection is great (Asiago, Rye, Cinnamon Raisin, Blueberry, Rainbow, Sesame, Onion, Everything, Jalapeño Cheddar, and I'm sure a couple I'm forgetting)! My specialty bagel is a BLT, minus the mayo, plus veggie cream cheese on Asiago and it was tasty and satisfied my bagel craving! My husband got the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese on Jalapeño and we both really enjoyed the bagel and its flavor. We'll certainly be back to try the rest of the menu and to pick up some bagel packs the next time we have company in town! I ordered a jalapeño cheddar bagel with bacon, egg, and cheese. It did not taste like it was made to order, and it was very skimpy. I wanted to try some of the assorted cream cheese flavors, so I ordered two to try on the side as a dip. These small plastic ramekins were $3 each. I ending up paying $25 in total for a BREAKFAST sandwich, which wasn't even good. Additionally, the lady taking my order didn't seem very inviting or helpful. I mentioned it was my first time there, and she didn't take initiative to suggest a menu item or tell me more about the place. She never smiled and wasn't very outgoing. She wasn't rude by any means, but I expected more in this area...customer service goes a loonnggg way, especially when the food is subpar. My husband and I each had a Classic Club bagel and split the Somewhere Over the Rainbow bagel! Everything was amazing. The bagels were cooked perfectly (chewy on the inside and toasted on the outside)! And paying over $8.00 for a single bagel with cream cheese is absolutely absurd. And now I see from a previous reviewer they procure their bagels from a 3rd party. Which no explains why my bagel tasted as if it was frozen and thawed (we all know that taste). Please do not think these are anything like a NY bagel. My husband and I bought a house in Destin last November and we are originally from the North East and were excited to try a bagel place in Florida that could possibly compare to NJ/NY bagels. I've been in restaurant ownership, multiple locations, for over 12 years now. I've been visiting Destin since the late 90s as a kid and saw this new place last year during fall break that I've never heard of anywhere else in the country. We were back for Spring break, my family loves bagels and wanted to give it a shot. The bagels, good, cream cheese, good, but your prices are ridiculous. I'm sorry but $38 for a half dozen bagels and a 4 sampler of cream cheese? I am more than willing to pay top dollar for on the water dining, prime steak, fresh caught seafood and other higher end entrees, but this is bad. I compared to other bagel shops that serve just as good or better products and the avg price was under $18 for my same purchase. The staff was very friendly, and the place was clean, but unfortunately, we won't be going back. It's just not worth it. read more
