Pavel is the man. He has helped me move 2 times now (so a total of 3 trips; the first was a move into a storage center and then out again a month or so later, and the second, which was just this morning, was a move from 1 apartment to the next.) I think the first thing to say about pavel is he *truly* takes pride in his work, its not just something he does to make ends meet. And he is extremely good at it. He can look at a room and know instantly how to fit it all in his van, in order to maximize space and protect your belongings from damage. The first time around he also helped me choose a storage room; I was originally going to rent a larger room but he figured I could switch to a smaller one to save some money and still fit everything, and he was right. Score! Pavel is a very nice guy and super funny, and he loves to chat along the way so if you happen to be riding alongside in the van, that's definitely a bonus. Moving can be a drag, but Pavel makes it fun, quick, and painless. I would hang out with this guy! His team is also great, today he came with Ben and he was strong and efficient as well. Lastly, I never felt like I was being nickle-and-dimed. Pavel gave me a great rate, and like some others mentioned he didn't round up or any nonsense like that. *He* really seemed happy that *I* was so happy. Big tip for this guy and his helper! Moving is probably one of the biggest pains in the ass behind living in the city, but Pavel makes it a breeze and I'll definitely go to him every time. read more

I needed a move of a beautiful old extra large, extra heavy (massive) wooden desk from Manhattan to Long Island City and I needed it quick. I know there are countless movers on Craigslist but most of them don't even pick up the phone and when they do you get a lot of (bad) attitude and the hurry up and wait. These guys are different. I called Everyday Movers, Alfredo picked up the phone immediately, he was polite and professional on the phone (a good sign) and even though it was Friday afternoon and I needed a Saturday 3pm move, for these guys - no problem. Alfredo showed up a half an hour early and had this monster of a desk secured in the truck quickly and carefully. On top of that he was just a really friendly and, again, professional individual. Getting anything into my apartment isn't easy (twists and turns and narrow stairways) but Alfredo got the job done without any moaning and groaning quickly and, more importantly, really carefully. Would I use Everyday Movers again? I'll never use anyone else. Thanks Alfredo!! read more

Pavel and his crew are AMAZING! Not only are they friendly, funny, and punctual but they GET THE JOB DONE!! I was extremely worried because I had a complex move. Moving and picking up items from 3 different locations to a 4th final one is not an easy job. Our move started in Long Island City, Queens (11101) to 34th Street/2nd Ave (10016), then Midtown Hell's Kitchen and finally in Washington Heights/Inwood (10040) could've have been a nightmare. But IT WAS A BREEZE! I was aptly prepared for the move and organized and Pavel's team followed suit. They handled all of my furniture and musical equipment with care (even up and down a 6th floor walk-up...AND they did not charge for the walk-up)! I can not believe we had 4 stops and finished the job in 2 and 1/2 hours! I HIGHLY recommend them to all of you! read more

I had THE BEST moving experience this past weekend with Pavel and Everyday Movers! I called last minute the day of my move, as I had originally planned to spend all day moving my stuff out of storage and into my new apartment since I had moved everything in storage myself previously. Pavel gave me a very good rate and called back to inform me that his team would be arriving at the storage place to meet me and they did just that. With just one hour before closing time of the storage facility, his team managed to wrap and pack all of my items securely and do it all in one trip! Everyone one the team was cordial, friendly and most of all quick and efficient. Pavel seems to really care about his customers and that was so refreshing! I'd HIGHLY recommend Pavel and Everyday Movers! read more

Dear Pavel, It's been nearly a month now since our move and I have been pretty busy getting settled in our new house -BUT - I MUST tell you how great our moving day was and in particular how great your crew was. I can't imagine the move going any smoother. Your crew was awesome. They were careful. They didn't even so much as put a scratch in a single item. They hustled. They were friendly. They never griped about the work and in general they were just GREAT. I've already given your name to a number of friends who are going to be moving soon. I'll continue to recommend you to everyone I know. Thanks for a great job. And by the way - not only were your guys great -your price was the best I found after shopping five other companies! Keep up the great work. Many thanks Ruth. read more

We used them to move furniture and boxes from a third floor apartment to the truck. We did the driving and unloading ourselves. The rate was quite reasonable, $135 for 2 people, 2 hours. Beyond the 2 hours, it is quoted for $1.12 minute. After the first 2 hours, one of them had to leave for another job. Pavel ended up charging me $60/hr for the remaining person. Still very reasonable. The two movers were professional, hard working, careful with the place and our belongings. Getting some of the large items down the stairs was a challenge. The guys did it, thank you. I am not giving them a 5 stars because I don't know how well they pack and unload. Overall I am happy with their services, and I will use them again for my next move. read more

Over the course of six + years since I first met Pavel I've moved four times and he has helped me through every move. I would never think twice about using a moving company other than Pavel's. He is solid, efficient, punctual, honest and probably one of the most reliable people I've ever met. If I had to move this weekend, it's safe to say that I could call him right now and he would find a way to squeeze me into his schedule then knock the move out in under two hours. On top of his fierce professionalism, he has such a happy, vibrant and positive personality that it makes the experience of moving (which is generally a drag) totally painless. I truly cannot say enough great things about his company. read more

I hired Everyday Movers to move a dining room set I purchased online (local move). They were spot on for me. First, pricing was right-- Pavel was willing to discuss a couple of different options and after some discussion we landed on what turned out to be the perfect solution. On day of the move, the guys showed on exactly on time at the pickup location, did a great job packing the pieces and arrived right when I expected them at the drop-off location. They were friendly but professional, and efficient without rushing. In summary, the furniture was delivered without a scratch, on time, and within budget. I'll use them again. Thanks guys. read more

I want to start off by saying that I'm usually not someone that goes on yelp and makes reviews good or bad,but when it came to today's experience with this moving company I felt compelled too. I could not of been HAPPIER with the outcome. They came on time they where professional beyond Any and all expectations. I HAVE WITHOUT A DOUBT FOUND MY MOVERS for any future endeavors. There weren't any hidden fees, any damages and they even dismantled stuff and put it back together for no additional charge. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM AND WILL GLADLY PASS THERE INFO TO ANY AND ALL FAMILY AND FRIENDS. ONCE AGAIN THANK YOU ANDRE CAMPANELLA read more

Hi I needed to pick-up 8 boxes from JFK Cargo and had no idea how I do this. I could not rent a van or truck as I just landed to US and everything is new for me here. I called Pavel at 6 pm just teh day I needed to pick-up boxes and he said Yes, I can help. The cost was reasonable I think. Next day Pavel found a guy for me with a van exactly at the time I needed it. The guy was great and I made it in time and budget. If you need someone reliable with a van and have some decent money/budget for this call Pavel - he is the man. I will recommend Pavel to my friends for sure. read more

2 guys from Pavel's company helped me move today - they were SUPER FAST and REALLY NICE.All my stuff was carefully moved and in less time than I expected. When I called Pavel 2 days ago, he booked it on the spot with all the information I need and details on pricing and expectations, very professional. Even when I had a last minute change in plans, Pavel picked up late night and accomodated my changes. The guys showed up early (but didn't start the clock until I said) and were really nice and smiled despite 4 flights of stairs. I would highly recommend to anyone. read more

The worst experience I have ever had. They turned up 2 hours late. When moving a sofa out of my apartment the put a huge hash in the sofa, their only response was 'sorry'. They but 2 huge holes in the door in my hallway and broke 2 door handles, not to mention the huge scuffing down all the walls. There was no offer to make any amends, and when I emailed them with the damage amount the refused any compensation. They have now stopped replying to my emails and I am left with the damage costs. Paved is a com artist. Stay away at all costs! read more

I have had bad experience in the past with movers therefore I check references, licensing of business and I call 311. The Everyday Movers company is in operation for a short time and they don't have a moving biz license. That means, if there is damage to your belongings no one will compensate you! I can only caution people to be careful with this type of unsafe business operation. You can also check the license at: http://safer.fmcsa.dot.gov/CompanySnapshot.aspx Please don't remove this review. read more

The guys at Everyday Movers are extremely helpful, friendly, know what they're doing, and are very reasonable as far as pricing. I've hired these guys twice for two different moves within the New York area, and both times I couldn't have been happier with how smoothly it went and how much I was charged compared to what other companies quoted me. I can't speak for bigger moves, but I can say that if you're doing a small move within the New York area these are definitely the guys to call. read more

Hired Everydaymovers and must say, they are absolutely fantastic. Showed up on time to do pickup in Queens. Secured and moved furniture into van and delivered everything to my storage in NJ. Pavel, manager/owner, was easy to deal with. The 2 workers sent to do the lifting and moving were easy going. The price was more then reasonable. Thank you for a quick and smooth move. I will call again when I need to plan the big move. Thanks for making this easy Pearl read more

Your workers were efficient, hard-working, courteous. And I appreciated your expertise in disassembling and moving the piano. It has been extremely emotional for me to take apart my parents' home of 45 years, the home i grew up in. My mother grew up playing that piano, and I did as well. There is much more than cost associated with that piano. When the time comes, I will contact you to move some of the furniture to my home in Chicago. Thank you. read more

Had a great experience with Everyday Movers. Pavel was very good and efficient to work with. Our driver, Steve was very good and communicated very well. We utilized these guys for the P.V. trade show at Pier 94 in NYC. All went smoothly and I would definitely recommend them and plan on calling these guys again for future trade shows and any necessary moving needs. read more

Outstanding move!! We needed LOTS of library bookcases carried down eight flights of stars, and then up three more flights to our school library. The bookcases were HEAVY. The crew at everyday movers arrived on time, worked tirelessly, and got us all set up. I highly recommend these movers, they were amazing. Brooklyn to Manhattan Move. Liz read more
