Came in and got a table for my friend and I. Waited a good while before my waiter came and asked for my order. I asked him about the spicy level and explained that my friend can't handle it too spicy. He suggested getting mild and he'll bring out some Sriracha on the side. Our drink came out and he literally tossed our straws on the table and one bounced off of my hand and he didn't even say anything. When food came out he asked if we needed anything, I replied that my hot sauce on the side is missing. My waiter never came back with it. I kept trying to make eye contact with him so that I had to get the bartender's attention for him to get my waiter to get my hot sauce, My friend asked him for napkins and he came back and put it on my side instead of giving it to the person that asked for it. When we were done, it took him forever to get our containers and check for us. I understand about short staff and all but service was lacking and straws being tossed on the table is just plain rude. Now that I got that out of the way. Let's talk about the food. The Tom Yum Goong with shrimp was good but came out lukewarm and not as sour as I would like it. It took me a bit to get to this review but it has stayed in my mind for about a week now. First, our experience was made to be above and beyond because our wonderful server Nate. The only reason I'm writing this review was because of him. He was extremely accommodating and had the best overall attitude. I tend to drink lots of water and my cup was never empty. He was attentive, kind, polite and moved with great poise. He displayed great amounts of patience as well. The food was great. I had the coconut chicken soup and the presentation as well as flavor was unique and amazing. The food came out relatively quickly as well. The interior was clean. No complaints. read more

Im a college student from Thailand and Im a regular at this restaurant. I coincidentally met the owner one time with my dad. The owner was just present at the restaurant at the time. They renovated this place a couple of times within 3 years and I think this place looks very pretty and grand now with the new interior design. Food here is pretty much on point and delicious. My favorite is Thai style fried chicken with sweet Thai sauce. It tasted like what I had in my hometown or what my mom would cook for me. It's soo good. I don't see other Thai restaurants in Springfield that actually have an authentic Thai fried chicken in their menu. It's just not as good as Everyday Thai's fried chicken. I had good memories with this place too. I had a date with a guy here and it was the best date ive ever had. I got him into Thai food. He's my boyfriend now :) I give 4 stars because I have a few issues that it's overpriced for a college student. And because they stopped accepting food deliveries :( I don't own a car, so I found this to be very inconvenient. If they accept food deliveries again. Good Thai food is hard to find in Springfield. This place is refreshingly authentic. There are heavier nods to northern Thai cuisines here. Things to Note: 1) Veteran Owned 2) Lunch options are offered everyday 3) Thai spice scale is actually pretty spicy. For someone that eats spicy food, hot was hot. Thus, I might need to brace myself for the Thai spicy. 4) No liquor license yet - but coming. 5) No idea if they deliver 6) Lots of room for groups 7) Order with a waitress and pay at the counter 8) No dessert - but they should think about Mango sticky rice! 9) Lots of things are not on the menu - so ask for something specific or hope that the waitress let's you know as she learns the menu. The Food: 1) Som Tum or Papaya Salad. This is served w/ chicken wings. The chicken wings are wonderful - and u can get it Thai style w/crab or Lao style w/ fish or just the salad. Be aware that there is more fish sauce in this dish than most places. Get this w/ sticky rice. 2) Green Curry. Thinner and a nod salty - but really good flavors. 3) Pa Kee Mao or Drunken Noodles. Really good flavors 4) Chicken Wings - crispy w/ lots of flavors 5) Spring Rolls - r Meh and just okay. Pass. I kind of wished they served it w/ a vinegar sauce instead of the sweet n sour. 6) Tom Yum soup or any one of the soups are huge - wished they made smaller portions b/c I don't want this as a meal but an appetizer. Got the A.10 appetizer. Was $9 for 3 pieces of bacon wrapped shrimp. While it was absolutely delicious I can't help but say I was blown away how one of the most expensive appetizers can't even feed 3 people. Server was nice and everything was clean just can't get over the fact of how ripped off I felt after seeing what came out. Upon further review of their menu and speaking with the manger the entire appetizer menu is a complete rip off. Chicken wings are 9 bucks for 3 wings. Do not order an appetizer here. I'm not giving the full five because like a lot of places, Everyday Thai is suffering from a shortage of servers and I think that resulted in some order errors which, you know, when your cuisine is largely dependent on its 'spice level', it is important to get it right. My pad see ew was a 2 spice and it was wonderful. The girls each ordered a pad thai with 1 spice. One came with no spice and the other came at least a 2 spice. Thus, the spicy-er one didn't get eaten at the table. It was my lunch the next day which is aay-oh-kay with me but if you were really looking forward to this plate o' noodles and were really starving and you couldn't eat it because it was too spicy? That would...suck. Fortunately we had appetizers. Since this place does not have crab Rangoon (which I don't know if I respect this or reject this, yet) we ordered spring rolls and chicken wings. My daughter wondered about the wisdom of ordering chicken wings in a Thai place? HELL YEAH I said, and I was right. They were super, fried up crunchy and full of flavor, as I figured they would be. The facts are this place USED to be great when they were in the shopping center across the street and then it was at least 4.5 stars but since the move into their BIG building location the food is half-asses at best. The servers are fine and that's why it gets the 2 stars for me. Sometimes, I've been disappointed just like the review said I would be and other times I've been pleasantly surprised. This is my review. I still stand by my review. When businesses open up to public scrutiny, there are going to be people who are just not satisfied with what they have to offer. Everyday Thai is modern and clean. Usually busy when I've been in. The 6 and 7 stars are really hot They have several beers on draft.
