Thai palace and sushi is a place I've been to on several occasions. Many of which I've chosen to not speak about because the food outweighed the service. So many instances of bad service are just mind numbing. However, the food is always and I mean ALWAYS on point! The crab rangoon is by far the best ever and that's coming from someone who has experienced "Chinese food" all over this state and the country. Hands down, best crab rangoon. The rest of the menu is great as well. The sushi is tasty (recommend the Chucky roll) and the sweet and sour chicken is also delicious. This time that I went, the service was amazing. What's even better is that the waitress was clearly a younger lady, likely high school or just beyond, and she took care of my wife and I like we were her only customers. Only, we weren't. It was lunch, it was busy and she rocked! My wife commented on the way out that this kid is likely the reason we will come back to dine in! I've eaten at this establishment several times and everything I've tried was very good. I especially love the pad tai, drunken noodles, beef and broccoli, and curry dishes. The crab rangoons are amazing, better than I've had anywhere else!! My husband's favorite is the pepper steak. The service is always great too. Just a little fyi, if you don't like things spicy ask about what you're ordering or let them know so they don't make it too spicy (ie:some curry). My FAV spot for specific things. I'm trying to work my way down the menu and here's what I know so far. The egg drop and Tom kha khai are THE BEST IVE EVER HAD! I always get a side of egg drop no matter what else I get. Every roll I've ordered has been amazing. Wasn't overly found on the peanut chicken or the dynamite chicken but I think that's a personal preference, I don't like my fried chicken to get soggy. I do wish they'd offer dark meat, though. The Pad Thai was ok but I prefer more sprouts and it was a little too sweet. Overall, delicious food! The restaurant itself needs a little sprucing up. We ordered spring rolls, red curry and pad Thai. The lettuce in the spring rolls was bitter and the "peanut" sauce doesn't taste like peanut sauce is supposed to. The pad Thai is too sweet. The red curry has great flavor but with both the curry and pad Thai the meat and vegetables were not cut up enough, the veggies were chopped and all so it was hard to eat the soup and the meat was quite large as well read more

I got Philly roll which was super fresh and delicious but the chicken pad Thai had a sauce that tasted very sour compared to the sweet taste it should have. Had a couple bites and couldn't eat the rest. Definitely not the place to go if you want a delicious plate of pad Thai. read more

I was really hoping I found a great Thai place close to home but I was honestly disappointed. I gave it 3 stars for the friendly staff and fast service, but I was not impressed by the food. I started with the Spicy Salmon roll. The Salmon was fresh and tasted good. But there was nothing spicy or special about the roll. I ordered a side of sriracha to give it more flavor. I've been to every Thai restaurant in the area and my favorite Thai dish is Red Curry so I had to try it. I ordered extra spicy. Well, their way of making it spicy was adding red pepper flakes to the top of a watered down coconut soup. There was no red curry paste flavor at all. Sushi Review: The sushi is lackluster at best. The rice is never properly made and I'm starting to believe they're using instant rice. The fish is of questionable quality and freshness. Most is "tube fish" or "safety fish" that is extremely processed food with lots of preservatives in most cases. Not sure what brand of "toothpaste fish" this place uses, but that's what it is on your more standard rolls. The avocado is either spoiled or not ripe, they never get it right anymore. The sauce that goes on the rolls is slopped on and is usually way, way too much. No "artistic" care is used at all on to-go orders. The larger "American" style sushi like the spider roll is never cut to proper size, nearly always too large. I've seen people have to cut their sushi in half to get it in their mouth, absurd. My friend's wife made sushi for the first time the other night using nothing but YouTube/Internet instruction and her sushi was at least three times the quality if not more. YOUR SUSHI NEEDS HELP! Delightful restaurant in our community. The service was excellent and timely. Of course, everything is made to order and worth it. I had the chicken and rice soup. It was made from scratch for a low cost. The small was plenty for me. I also had the sesame chicken and it was delicious. My husband enjoyed the potstickers and the chicken and peanut sauce. I visited this restaurant because it was highly recommended and I was extremely disappointed. When we arrived, I quickly ordered a meal for the kids (chicken fried rice) before the adults could read the menu and asked the server to please have it come out first and ASAP so the kids could start eating. About 5 minutes later, the adults ordered 6 sushi rolls and I ordered some miso soup and asked for the soup be brought out before my sushi. 15 minutes later, I asked the server for the status of the kids meal and she said "the cook is working on it". About 5 min later, our sushi started coming out. I asked the server to cancel the soup because I wanted it before my meal and the server responded "are you sure? It's is almost ready, it has a lot of ingredients". What???? Lots of ingredients for a miso soup? All the sushi was brought out and still no kids meal. I asked again for the status of the kids meal and she responded with "it is almost ready". She delivered 5 rolls of sushi and no chopsticks and no soy sauce on the table. The server finally brought the kids meal, chopsticks and soy sauce. About 10 minutes later we asked the server for the status of the sixth sushi roll, her response, "you ordered another sushi roll?" Yes, we told her what we ordered, goes back to the chef to "check on it" comes back and says "they are finishing it right now". Did I mention that there were only two other tables besides us? This place just simply rocks. I first ate here around a year ago and loved it. If you dine in, they normally have a large pot of soup that is free to go with your meal. It's simple - just chicken broth with some rice and some small pieces of chicken, but I love the soup, so it's great. In the last year, my wife and I now eat here probably a few times a month. I first got hooked on their cashew chicken. The rice is always perfectly cooked. Not terribly flavorful, but it's still good. The chicken is cooked perfectly every time I've had it. The cashew sauce is also very flavorful and delicious. The medium to-go portion has a great amount of food, and the cost is under $6. You can also get the large for under $8, which comes with two to-go containers - one three-section container with the chicken and cashew sauce, and another small container with the rice. My wife normally gets the Pad Thai and loves it. The noodles are cooked well, and the chicken is fresh. We both commented that it sometimes doesn't have enough Pad Thai sauce or flavoring or something, but the flavor that is there is good. Tonight, I tried the Lo Mein with chicken, and boy am I glad I did! It's now my new favorite. At first look, the noodles appear to be just cheap, normal spaghetti noodles. That concerned me, but I didn't need to be. The flavor is awesome! It's got so much delicious flavor, and they use a good amount of oil. The pieces of broccoli tasted amazing and not weird like in some others I've tasted. Both the Pad Thai and Lo Mein are less than $7, which is just awesome. Put this in contrast to Cashew Inn in Nixa (our next favorite Asian place in the area) where the Lo Mein is over $8 and has a smaller portion size - Thai Xpress has got everyone else beat. I also need to mention their sushi. Oh my, yum. Granted, my wife and I do not eat a lot of sushi, but we have started eating more since discovering Thai Xpress. Their sushi is so reasonably priced, and we absolutely love it. It tastes so fresh and delicious. I recommend the spicy California rolls and the spicy salmon rolls. Thai Xpress is now one of our go-to restaurants when we eat out. Incredible food at very reasonable prices. Give them a try! read more

This review is based on the speed of service. Something has happened recently with their staffing (maybe they lost a chef?) and they have taken 35+ minutes to bring out the food the last two times I've gone to eat there over my lunch break. I've ate here plenty of times in the past and today I decided to come in for some sushi but my cali roll came out with a bug in it and when I tried to tell my waitress about it she asked if it could just be a seed or some seaweed but I told her that it was moving when the sushi came out. Then she comes back with the same roll and says that they can't find it and that they won't remake it unless they find something, my friend then finds it and points it out on the roll, once something was found they made me a new roll but it was hard to eat because of what I found as well as the rest of my meal. read more

I frequently but the Tiger Tear, Green Curry, and sushi. In the past 6 months, I have eaten here an average of once a week and never been disappointed. 2. Service - Service is super fast and friendly. Always greeted with a smile and take care of my table. 3. Cost - a family of 4 can each get a small appetizer and main dish, and spend approximately $10/person. You can't even buy fast food at that price anymore. 4.
