My husband and I were traveling through Springfield from a short vacation in Branson. We ate at Thai Square over a year ago and had the most amazing experience - the owners, the food, and the setting! We were a bit hesitant to return to Thai Spice as we did not want to spoil the memory! It totally did not disappoint! We ordered the Noodle Curry- it was amazing! The crab rangoon is the best! We love Thai food so when we travel we always try to dine at the best Thai place available. We ordered the crab rangoon which were decent. And then the Pad See Ew which was too spicy for even mild (mild at our place is no spice, just an FYI. But it was flavorful. We also ordered the Tom Kha soup which was absolutely amazing. Service was fast but we were there on a Sunday so no other patrons in the establishment. Not sure if there was something wrong with the heat (or because it's in a converted old house there isn't central heat) but the space heaters they were running didn't keep it warm enough. But the soup did it's job! most likely would return for the soup though. read more

You MUST TRY IT!!!!! Thai Square is absolutely beautiful on the inside, very fancy yet comfortable at the same time! Don't feel the need to dress up but it is super cute inside and could call for a fun dressed up evening out. The food is absolutely phenomenal my wife and I got the "drunken noodles with chicken" and the "egg wrap pad Thai" they were both great. It's not super expensive for the portions you get. We decided to take it home to go but went inside to check it out and meet the owners. They have only been open for about 6 months and could definitely use some new customers so go check them out. This will be our go to Thai spot from now on. read more

Find another Thai restaurant. Quite the rip-off. Showed up for lunch only to hear they were out of shrimp. Had to settle for salmon but that cost more. Still charged us more instead of offering us salmon at the price of shrimp. So you ran out by lunch time and still charge us more for something we didn't initially want. Dinner with friends last night. Not favorably impressed. It was hot. Ceiling fan not working. We found a floor fan and set it up ourselves. Food was very slow to arrive and came out one plate at a time over the span of an hour. Some of it was blistering hot temperature and some of it was barely warm. The staff is the friendliest and most accommodating you will find anywhere. It is an elegant and peaceful place to eat and it is our favorite restaurant in the area. The dishes are more traditional with superb flavors and protein choices. The tofu is cooked to perfection to where even tofu haters will agree it is tasty. This place is so amazing! Everything was so tasty and flavorful. My boyfriend got the khao moo dang (thai bbq pork with rice) and I got the khao moo grob (fried pork belly with rice). They brought out a free appetizer soup and our entrees came with a side of broth. We also got thai tea and green thai tea as well and they were delicious. My new favorite Thai in Springfield. The owner is the same owner as Rama Thai, but the portions are larger, and the taste is outstanding. Two to three dollars more per plate than Rama Thai, but worth the extra. Not a lot of seating, but quiet and comfortable.
