When I was a resident of UCity back in the 90's (whew..seems like a lifetime ago) I became familiar with this shop and they did my one of my earliest tattoos! Eric...Anthony...Christian and now AJ are such professionals and they always make you feel comfortable in the shop! Now with COVID guidelines in place..they do a great job w/mask wearing...hand sanitizers and socially distance regulations! I had an idea pre-Covid for my Tattoos..but after I got my vaccine...I was ready to move forward with my plan! I allowed the new guy..AJ to take a shot...glad I did...he was patient with my indecisiveness at times and was able to bring my vision to life! I came back several times for completion and each time...AJ took his time and was friendly and professional throughout the process! I am very satisfied with the outcome! My husband and I came to Everlasting Art for our wedding tattoos and had an excellent experience. They were clean, quick, and well-priced. The tattoo-ers were also super friendly, kind, and interested. I actually came here one other time with a friend of mine who got a tattoo with a lot of detailing and shading. I was really impressed with the professionalism of the tattoo artist, as well as with the excellent job he did. By the way, when we went, there wasn't much wait, but if there is a wait, you can always stop by the pizza place next door or go down the street to the Greenline cafe to wait. This place is extremely professional and comfortable. I had been researching and sketching and revising my tattoo for over a year. Then it was about finding the right place, preferably in my neighborhood. I felt like Goldilocks. I decided on Everlasting. From the moment I walked it the energy was right and the artist I hoped for, Jared, was there (but based on the pictures you can't go wrong with any of the guys). With the design of my tattoo there was little margin for error and Jared is a perfectionist. He was very precise and made sure I had the breaks I needed. So thankful I went to them. Also, while I was there a young lady home from college came in for a 4th tattoo and poor child almost fainted while getting her outline. Eric is such a fantastic piercer! He did my navel and nipple piercings and was so supportive and helpful throughout. He addressed any questions and was completely professional, but friendly enough for you to also feel comfortable. I shopped around a few places in the area, when I met Chris Carver i knew he had the right vision to get me the best results. I paid my deposit, and scheduled an all day session. Chris was professional, open to ideas , and made the whole experience an easy one! It was as painless as an 8 hour tattoo can be ! I highly recommend Eric and Chris, I will be back for next piece !!! Don't go to rob.rob did a yin yang tattoo and did not even make it a round circle how are you going to be a artist and you cant make a circle.he is a rookie and related to the owner Eric it was my first and last there and i didn't even move.HE pressed too hard using the needle and caused a sore and totally messed up the tattoo now i have to go to another shop and get a cover up tattoo or have them try to fix his damage and reshape the tattoo and do the color over.he left too much ink in my skin using the black and i hope i don't get hepatitis c from him. read more

I've been tattooed here three times, and I went once with a friend for her first tattoo. The guys here are professional, friendly, and thorough. I've gotten work done by both Don and Eric, and both were great. The last time I was there, I was having trouble deciding exactly where I wanted the tattoo placed on my arm. Eric put the stencil on my arm, let me take a look at it, show my friend, and then take it off and move it quite a few times before I was happy with the exact placement. Also, these guys guarantee their work and are more than willing to touch up anything that needs to be (my skin has trouble with black ink, and usually needs a touch up to be as dark as it should be on less-pale people). Also, their prices are right where I would expect them to be, and I know I'm not getting ripped off like some shops try to do. Also, an FYI: cash only. read more

I got my first tattoo here, on my wrists. The artist talked me through it, and helped me remain calm throughout the process. He was friendly and conversational, with a good enough balance that he seemed concentrated and wasn't too chatty. He explained everything he was going to do, what it was for, and explained how to take care of my tattoo. I'm a college student, so the pricing was great, it was totally affordable. Came here as a walk-in on a Sunday and was hoping to get a rook piercing. Found out they only do cartilage, brow, nipple and lower lip since they weren't in high demand for other piercings and didn't have the equipment for it. The bf needed a new stud for his tragus piercing which Eric was more than happy to help him change so that was really cool. This is a small spot that is more for ink than for piercings but if you're looking to get any of the aforementioned piercings, then I would recommend this place. These guys were great. My cousin brought me here for my first tattoo. They were about to close when my turn came but they were patient about changing my design because the one I originally wanted was too small. It was quick and the work was great. I'm very happy with this place. That was four months ago, just after I got my tattoo. The tattoo's healed and I still give them the same rating. I went back to get my ears pierced a second time, the guy was really nice and reassured me that it wouldn't hurt. I was a walk-in so a waited a little bit. read more

This is a small, comfortable tattoo parlor. I went with my roommate and at the last minute decided I wanted something as well. I went in with a design in mind and the tattoo artist (I can't remember his name) did a good job sizing it right for me. It was four letters in gothic/old english font and he did a good enough job. The place was clean, the artist was professional, and the general atmosphere friendly. Though I eventually got the piece covered up, it was a pretty good experience from a shop that looks like a crappy pizza joint from the outside. Nothing special, and I can't recommend the artist or not, but he did a simple tattoo well. read more

I got tattooed here on Friday and I had a great experience. Rob worked with me to turn my own drawing into my tattoo, and he made suggestions without being pushy. It was my first tattoo and I was pretty clearly nervous, but he went through it with me step by step, reassured me that we could take breaks at any time etc. It really made me less nervous and it was a really pleasant, relaxed and professional experience. They made me and my friend who accompanied me very comfortable, and I'm absolutely in love with my tattoo- it's even better than I imagined. This place is by far the best. I have received tattoos at other studios and this one by far it the most professional, clean, and service oriented. Eric is an amazing artist that offers very fair prices for unbelievable work. I got a quarter sleeve there and it was done to absolute perfection and satisfaction. The artistic work and shadowing of the tattoo blew me away. I get non stop compliments. The location is in a great neighborhood in University City. Parking is tight but was not an issue for when I went. I will definitely be going back. I live outside the city in Delaware County, and it was very easy to get to. I set an appointment earlier today to get my nipples done at 4 by Eric. He's just as nice, welcoming, and informative as the other reviews says he is. I picked this shop because I remember when I came here with my older sister to get her tattoo done about 5+ years ago and the workers there were so nice and laid back. I told myself I will come back here for my first tattoo too. I don't have any tattoos but I've always wanted my nipples pierced so Everlasting Art was still the plan. I'm very happy with results. My wife and I have driven up, from Dover, DE, for years to get our tattoos from Eric. He is an amazing talent; always gets you exactly what you want for content and placement. I don't--and won't--trust anyone else, as my ink tells stories of different parts of my life story. He always gets it right! I've had my share of piercings past ears/navel etc. Eric was amazing. He pierced my labret, he was very cordial, fit me into his walk-ins last minute, and accurately recommended a ring just large enough to accommodate lip swelling (I'm somewhat thin-lipped to start with).
