This spot is great. I've used Kam for the past few years and the work is exceptional. I've had three pieces done over multiple sittings and I'm very pleased with all of them. The other Artists and staff are always courteous and it's super clean. read more

All I'm going to say is don't patronized this business. They tell you one price and towards the end they tell you another price. They also only take cash which is very shady. I'm going to reach out to my family member that works for the mayor's office to find out more about this business. Someone told me to reach out to the better business bureau as well. No one calls back. There are other tattoo places that accept more than cash and give great customer service. I was not happy when I left. read more

If you're thinking about getting a tattoo from one of the artists, here, rest assured, this place is legit. It's owned by a legend in the asian tattoo industry. My artist was Jennal, and she's a superstar. I got my first tattoo (full sleeve) from her when she was working at the sister shop in California. Long story short, she decided to move to Philly. But I knew I wanted my full chest piece done by her as well so I ended up getting work done at this shop too. She really goes out of her way to making me feel like part of the family. You can tell she goes out of her way to making sure the piece is perfect. After so many hours, I can honestly consider her a friend now as well. The shop is located in a pretty convenient spot in the asian/chinatown area. My airbnb that I stayed at was within walking distance. I've seen that her books are already getting filled quite fast, so I would recommend checking out her IG page and booking as soon as you can. @jennal_omkarablossom. read more

I called today to get information on booking an appointment and getting a quote on tattoos for my husband and I. The receptionist was very nice but had to keep putting me on long holds. No problem. I guess one of the artists picked up the line with no context to the conversation and was really rude and dismissive, not listening to what I was saying at all. My husband was pissed off just from overhearing the conversation and wanted to set the guy straight. Based on this alone I guarantee you we'll never be setting foot in this place. Learn some manners! After reading some reviews I can tell you this isn't an isolated incident. Find somewhere else to go with better customer service. read more

I've been contemplating on getting a tattoo for some years now and with It being my first, I didn't want to commit to just any artist. I wanted to proceed with an artist that was personable and passionate in his/her craft. And with that being said, I had the pleasure of meeting Dalton through one of my buddies that has gotten an arm sleeve done by him a few months prior. We exchanged contact information's and off the bat we were tossing ideas back and forth for my future arm sleeve! Dalton had me set up for the first week of April (April 2nd - 5th). First day walking into the shop I instantly felt relaxed and at peace. The atmosphere is very "Zen". Dalton walks out and introduces himself and right away you can feel the positive vibe reflecting off of him. He gave me a quick tour of the shop and asked me to sit back on the white leather couch while he went and got the stencils for me to pick from. He came back out with a plethora of stencils and we instantly began to collaborate. I picked 2-3 stencils and told him that as long as I'm able to have these implemented into my sleeve, ill be more than happy to give him 100% creative freedom to do what he thinks looks best. His eyes lit up and he reassured me that we will create magic! Now that the stencils has been selected, we were ready to begin. First impression of Daltons work area is that he is very, very clean and sanitary. He had the seat and body pillows wrapped in saran wrap for our session. He handed me the TV remote and allowed me to choose what movie/show I would like to watch. As I'm scrolling through Netflix trying to find a movie, I see that Dalton had lit an incent. I instantly burst out in excitement and told him how those specific incents he used reminded me of my childhood when my mother would light them to honor my grandfather that passed away. He smiles and says "energy bro! its very real!" We would go have lunch prior to each session and just talk about our lives and how things come into fruition. He kept me in the loop everyday on what's next to come. 4 consecutive days of going under the needle sounded intimidating at first, but, once you're in it to win it, you're golden! I just focused on the end results and how happy I would be to finally have a sleeve! 22 hours under the needle and 4 days later.. I was already thinking of ideas for my next piece from him! Not only is Dalton a great person to be around, but, he is one hell of an artist. I definitely recommend him to anyone that is looking to get a piece done! Overall, my experience through those 4 days far exceeded my expectation. A1 service and most definitely an A1 artist! read more

Clean shop with nice staff. Appreciated then fitting me in close to closing time. However, they forgot to give me my ID back and the price (for two small lines of text, four words), somehow went from $100 when I walked in and did the initial consult to $300 after it was done. That was insane. I've never before paid so much ever (even just last year in Vegas on the Strip with a famous artist) for something so small. I'm still pretty furious about that. And it's cash only. Thankfully, they do have an ATM on-site. read more

My tattoo experience was so amazing that it became hard for me to even put into words. The whole team of Omkara Blossom are very professional and highly skilled artists that love what they do. I had an incredible experience getting tattooed over the four days that I was getting work done. So much that I can say I made a new friend and favorite artist! Got to have some great conversations with multiple artists as they came by to check on the work being done. So I would 100% recommend that you get some work done here. Now for my artist Ben Hayes, man I'm literally shell shocked about how happy I am with my tattoo. You truly are killing it and I'm honored to have gotten the opportunity to meet such a great man. You definitely got my support!!! IG:@joyboyomkarablossom read more

Walked in at Omakra Tattoo today and had a bad experience, everyone in there seems like they're on a high horse and wasn't greeted for a while. Then a person walked up to me his name is "Viet" but I call him "Kevin" for the bad experience, long story short he blew me off because he didn't want to work with me for some reason. Not coming back. read more

My husband and I were walk-ins on a Friday night, expecting to be turned down since they probably have appointments booked. Viet greeted us immediately and made us feel so comfortable. We celebrated my husbands birthday by each getting a wrist tattoo. Pearl inked my husband, and Viet did mine. They were both absolutely amazing. The shop has such a great vibe, everyone is kind and welcoming. We felt like old friends. I can't recommend them enough. Thank you Pearl & Viet! You made our evening. read more

Honestly not worth it. If you do go here make sure you do not go to Kam. He caused scarring on my arm and also messed up and accidentally put a line through my other tattoo. I got charged for two days even though he took an excessive number of breaks, finished an hour early and only worked for 4 hours on the second day. Was extremely rude when I brought this up to him. Over priced for the quality, do not recommend. read more

So I've been wanting to get my first tattoo for a while now. Had booked someone 2 years back but ended up having a kid, so plans changed and I backed out. I have been following Omkara Tattoo on social media for a while now and 1 particular artist really caught my attention, which is Dalton. Told myself that I have to get tatted by him ASAP. Contacted Dalton immediately and the response was super fast and he was very helpful in explaining to me the process for my first tattoo. From the moment I met Dalton to consult about the tattoo, all I felt was positive energy! I knew right away that this will be an amazing first experience and that he will kill it on my first tattoo. Went in for 4 consecutive session for a full sleeve. First day in, he created a very welcoming atmosphere, tv on, bought me food because he knows that it will help me a ton (which I would never forget because this was really helpful), very clean, and felt relaxed right away. Positive vibes! Before each session we would go out and grab something to eat and just have an amazing discussion about life. Not only that I met an amazing artist but I met a brother/friend! Each days of the session felt like it went fast when you have positive people around you. Everyone at the shop were friendly and welcoming as well. As I have expected, the result of the tattoo were absolutely insane! All i can tell you is that it will forever change my life to have this amazing piece on my arm. The amount of detail he put in on this piece is unlike any other. Am proud of it and I cant express enough on how thankful I am to Dalton for giving me this amazing experience and absolutely did an amazing piece. If anyone would like to find a great friend/artist, I would highly highly recommend seeing Dalton. I will have another piece done by him in the future. Facts! Thank you brother! Your energy is unmatched and an amazing person indeed! I will attach a picture of the full sleeve! Enjoy! read more

Finally got to visit this spot after hearing lots of good things. Super clean, really nice shop, and I'll add that they're really doing a heck of a job keeping their space clean and hygienic given the current covid situation. I had an appointment with John Kelly, who is for my money one of the best portrait artists out there. Next level black and grey stuff. I was having a hard time sitting, (in case you didn't know, tattoos can be pretty painful haha), but John was super patient and so professional with me the whole time. I really respected his approach, and I could not be any happier with how my tattoo turned out and my experience with him and the shop. Highly recommend John for any tattoo work, especially realism, portrait or black and grey work, and I definitely recommend the shop for its friendly atmosphere and outstanding cleanliness and comfort level. I would and will continue to keep coming back to good ol mister Conrad for all of my tattoos!!! and you pay for what you get awesome artist awesome work!!! read more

Loved this shop! I was so stressed about trying to find the right artist. I wanted small simple looking tattoos, but straight, beautiful lines are not easy, so finding someone talented enough that was willing to squeeze me in was scary. But, lucky me, my friend gets a tattoo that is essentially a series of straight lines up his forearm. He points me in the direction of Conrad @ Omkara Tattoo with a rave review of the artist and the shop. He was 100% right. Despite being nervous, Conrad made me feel super comfortable and really cared about placement. I'm thrilled with the line work. I have 2 kids, 1 tattoo for each. I got one and then immediately contacted him to please fit me in for the other, which he did, despite being booked till fall. Great, talented guy. Friendly clean shop with many talented artists with all distinct styles. This was not a normal tattoo for Conrad- he does some crazy beautiful art @Conradism on Instagram. Strongly recommend!! read more

Here's the deal. I think that the guys in this shop do GREAT work - especially Johnny. He is exceptionally talented. My gripe is this. They charge you tax on a service that you are paying cash for. No other shop does this and you aren't supposed to charge tax on as service, only goods. If I were using a credit card and the shop had to pay taxes to the credit card people, I would understand. But I paid cash (and alot of it) for a tattoo that I do love, but I have to admit that the entire experience was overpriced. Again, the work that they do is wonderful, but this is a huge issue for me going back or referring people. read more

They're okay. They fixed my cross which is only about half an inch and charged me $100. I'd say it was overpriced for a half inch black cross. The job was done poorly as well. Dan did my tattoo. I have no idea if all of them charge so high for so little but that was my experience. read more

Place and everyone is amazing, but I got ripped off for a tattoo on the back of my neck, not only that, it wasn't straight. Paid $216 for small tattoo on the back of the neck with numbers, but the tattoo wasn't like Crazy or anything, just straight lines going down. But thanks to the tattoo artist Carlos, I now have a messed up tattoo on my neck. Would recommend anyone but him. read more

Flew up from the south side of Florida to get some work done from the amazing, amazing artist himself Kim Su. What an amazing journey I had in just two days! The leg piece is just getting started but I'm so happy with where it's going and I'm glad I chose the right artist to take this to the next level. He's very meticulous, has years of experience under his belt, is open to suggestions, always gives feedbacks, and to top it all off... he literally makes everyone feel like you they are at home. Kim have such a positive vibe from the first time we met all the way down to the moment I say my farewells. Hands down I have never been to a shop like this one... the work is phenomenal (Kim for the win), the shop is beautifully decor, and the other team players really make you feel like you're part of the family too!! Chris, Pearl, Rose, John, etc! Thank you so much guys for the love and support. Kim! Big Bro! I'm beyond thankful/grateful for everything and I can't wait to get this fired up again. I love my tattoo design drawn by Chris R. Unfortunately he never informed me he was only an apprentice and hasn't been tattooing for that long. The tattoo proves this further, it blew out and has raised scarring. A simple black line tattoo that any experienced artist could have completed no problem... Now I am left wit a blown out and scarred tattoo. Not to mention I was extremely over charged, $140 for a piece that has no color, shading, and isn't much bigger than a business card... I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who wants a quality tattoo done. read more

I did not get a tattoo here. I went to talk to a tattoo artist to get an estimate and to make an appointment for the next day. I browsed through the pictures of tattoos they had on their website and picked some font lettering I really liked and showed it to Chris. Chris looked at the picture and said it looks like a simple computer font. It would have been my first tattoo and I was iffy about this guy ( based on his lack of professionalism) so I asked him if he was referring to a font in Microsoft word...Because I had been through all those fonts and did not see that one. He said no but they have the font in their computer. I had asked if he was going to print up what i wanted right then to show me so the next day we can just get started he said not necessary. We wanted to make an appt for 530p and he suggested that 6 would be better for him...no biggie. I had sent him a text message of the song lyrics i wanted and since i still had his number and had my doubts that he would get the font right...I sent him the picture i found from the omkara website. Next day 6pm I show up and he's not even in the shop. He walks into the shop shortly after 6 with a bag and says have a seat i'm just gonna eat first. I see him running around at some point and realize that he is JUST NOW typing in what i wanted on the computer and prints it and shows it to me...it was obvious to me that that was not the font from the picture. Even though i said that he said it was. I take out the picture i had sent him the day before and told him it was different and physically showed him that the letters were showing up differently. He tells me that he's going to type up the words from the picture and maybe it will come out the same...WHA?!@# Don't know how that would happen but ok? He prints it out and it obviously didn't magically change into a different font but he continues to say..."see? virtually the same." REALLY THOUGH? I said no its not and then asked me why i wanted that particular font... UGH! I pretty much left after that. CHRIS FROM OMKARA NO PROFESSIONALISM NO CONSIDERATION RUDE NO EXPERIENCE I have heard great things about some of the other artists there...This review is solely on CHRIS! read more

First time here at Omkara. Met with Conrad regarding a vague tattoo idea. I knew I wanted Buddah, outside of that, no ideas. Conrad designed a PERFECT tattoo for me. I could not have asked for more. The shop is clean, friendly, and totally professional. I was nervous, as the tatoo was going on my arm for the whole wold to see. And let me tell you, I am so IN LOVE with this tat. How anyone can leave a bad review about this place, ESPECIALLY about Chris is beyond me. I have tattoos by both Dan and Chris and they're incredible. They're nothing but nice and responsive. Totally sensitive to what you want and out of this world talented. Chris gave me an incredible, colorful thigh tattoo that I'm obsessed with but also fixed a tattoo that I had done by a world renowned artist that is on TV. If giving this place 0 stars was possible- I would. I got tattooed more than a year ago by Matt. My whole family had appointments with him for a certain time and ended up taking other people right in our appointment time causing us to wait hours extra. I got a lung cancer ribbon on my rib that is crooked and just overall not that neat. While having the tattoo done I asked to take a short break bc it was hurting really badly and I needed to use the restroom, Matt proceeded to tell me no and basically held me down when I tried to sit up. Ridiculous and unprofessional! I was supposed to go back a few weeks later to have flowers and butterflies to the piece but ended up going to a different shop and different artist where I had a MUCH BETTER experience. I do not recommend this place or this artist. There are so many better options out there! read more

I recommend this place! Clean and all the employees are nice! I recently went in and just got a tattoo done by Chris. I'm simply in love with the tattoo that I have. I went in with a picture and was open to Chris changing it up because I liked all of the tattoos that I've seen by him. Honestly great design! I have some other tattoos and was never quiet happy with them(from other places) but as of now I finally have one that I'm excited to show everyone! I have gotten 2 tattoos here and I absolutely love them. My first was done by Dan, I walked in and we set up an appointment time for later in the week and I left a deposit. I was very impressed with the technique used to create texture in the tattoo. My second time going, I was in Philly just for a weekend and decided to head down. I went in at 4 and Matt said he could tattoo me right away. I was finished in about an hour. The shop is clean, professional, and has a great vibe. I would definitely go back in the future! read more

DO NOT GET A TATTOO FROM HERE! I got a tattoo from here they it is absolutely awful. The place was clean overall but my tattoo is horrendous. I went to someone named Chris , he smeared the black ink from my tattoo all over my arm which now looks like a big permanent bruise. After a week or two realizing the black ink wasn't going to go away, I called Chris to see if he could fix it and he NEVER answered or returned my calls. I am now paying hundreds of dollars to get it removed. This place should really consider finding new workers. read more
