Called in advance to confirm availability because their website seems FUBAR for some reason, and I got clear friendly answers. i walked right over and got my nostril pierced. I chose the cheapest most basic type of stud, partly because I don't have a ton of money but partly because it's really what I wanted. With piercing, stud, saline spray it came out to just under $100, and I tipped $20 cash. My piercer was Andrew and he was awesome. He let me nervous talk my way through the process and be the generally nelly post-punk middle aged weird I am without making me feel shitty about myself, and did a perfect job. Ten stars out of five.

My boyfriend wanted to return the jewelry but the technician said that he couldn't, even though he asked a couple of times, because "you already purchased it." In short, don't come here unless you're ready to deal with unprofessional techs who sell you jewelry that you then can't wear because they can't keep their business promises, and then won't give you a refund.

Being that it was both my friends and my first tattoo he really took the time to explain the process and everything. I felt comfortable the whole time. I recommend anyone to go to Dakini Tattoo whether it be your first or third one. They seem to really care about the process and you will not feel rushed or anything. Thank you Justin for a great experience! Hope to be back soon for a second tattoo :)

I came in to have my retainer removed and decided to switch things up with a new hoop-style nose ring. Juniper checked me in and was awesome about walking me through my options. Gold clasp wasn't in my price range, but I found a really cute silver hoop with stones that worked for me and was within my price range. Then my buddy Zach took care of the actual switch--removing the retainer and putting in the new hoop. He got the size just right, and I absolutely love the new look! Hau checked me out, and once again, the whole experience was easy and fun. I really appreciate the entire team at Infinite. After all these years, it still feels good to walk in and know I'm going to be taken care of. Shout-out to Juniper, Zach, and Hau! Thanks for another great experience.

Their online booking system is easy, it's clear, and you have a general idea of what to expect from your appointment and the cost. Bookings are a few weeks out because they're quite a busy shop so plan in advance. The team is super friendly and greets you when you come in. It's a very welcoming staff and space. They walk you through the process, have you pick out your jewelry and sign a few forms, tell you the total price then you wait in their small waiting area until you get called back to your room. Once you get called back, their rooms are super clean and their piercers are very knowledgeable. They do what you need to feel comfortable, whether that's being walked through step by step of what's going to happen or going in completely blind. The rooms and materials are clean and they set you up for success for healing your piercing.

The space is clean and welcoming and the staff is very friendly and honest about expectations for specific tattoos (ex: finger tats!!!). The shop minimum is $120 and they are cash only. They were originally done out of the country and had started to fade a lot, with one almost disappearing. I walked in on a Sunday around the time that they opened and was able to go straight down. My artist did a great job in a short amount of time. I will definitely return to Floating World for future tattoos!

For Review 1300 I'm going to give it up to the place that made my first tattoo a reality!…read more For close to 2 decades my first tattoo has been something the I had completely over thought with complicated design after random art and pop culture ideas that I have a limited scope of connection with currently. It finally got the point were I hd just decided to go with something simple that played toward my favorite holiday (https://youtu.be/UlaFe66MrTI). So when I saw that Moo Tattoo had their special tattoo deal for Halloween, I knew it was the time to go and have my first taste of the ink. Especially since it gave me the chance to get a tattoo from someone I knew I wanted to work with. For a few years Noah has been a good drinking buddy at Tattooed Mom, and I've shared many good conversations about art, south philly, and cats. And I've especially marveled over things like the watercolor tattoos that he's done. So between that and the praise that people like Jenna C. gave for Moo handling people getting their first tattoo, I knew it was the spot to go to. With there being a holiday flash special all weekend the shop was crowded beyond belief. But Noah and his crew managed to accommodate above and beyond, and even took some design requests within reason of what fit the size requirements. With it being all hollows eve there were plenty of ghosts, skulls, witches, and other spooky designs that were relevant to my interests. But I opted to go with a black cat in respect to Tippy Moo Cat (RIP! - https://www.facebook.com/TippyMooCat/), and Noah's sabretooth kitty, Mort. After a successful first tattoo Noah provided me with some spot on cleaning and care suggestions, and even made sure to send a follow up on it. With a first tattoo marked on the books, it goes without saying that I have acquired the itch for more. and with awesome service and spot on artists, Moo is definitely going to be a spot that I go to for at least a couple more!

Communicating through their site, I received a response quickly. They paired me with an artist and I quickly reviewed his work online. I knew quickly that my somewhat simple design (Picasso's Don Quixote), and all black coloring would probably be simple for Mike. Turns out, it was! I could have left a deposit and gone for a consultation first, but decided to just roll in and get it done. I'm an anxious guy and am older, so hanging at the tat shop isn't my norm! The front desk person was so kind and clearly loves their job. They paired me with an artist who went to art school, was a little older (sorry Mike!) and took the assignment to heart. He worked on me for about 2.5 hours and I still am surprised at how inexpensive the final product cost. Mike clearly explained aftercare and made sure I knew what to do and avoid. He also made sure to let me know that 54 year old skin heals differently than 20! A solid month later and I couldn't be more pleased with my tattoo. My other calve is itching for ink, and I'm excited to know where and who to go to. Disclaimer: I don't know shit about tattoos, but I love what Hunter Gatherer and Mike did for me.
