Eric...Anthony...Christian and now AJ are such professionals and they always make you feel comfortable in the shop! Now with COVID guidelines in place..they do a great job w/mask wearing...hand sanitizers and socially distance regulations! I had an idea pre-Covid for my Tattoos..but after I got my vaccine...I was ready to move forward with my plan! I allowed the new guy..AJ to take a shot...glad I did...he was patient with my indecisiveness at times and was able to bring my vision to life! I came back several times for completion and each time...AJ took his time and was friendly and professional throughout the process! I am very satisfied with the outcome! I went back 2 weeks later for a small tattoo for myself and then within months, was collaborating with Mike on a half sleeve incorporate a cover-up. I gave Mike reference photos of the 2 dragons I wanted, some high-level ideas and a deposit and he turned that into a beautiful piece. We had sessions every two weeks for 3 months and I can confidently say he is consistently friendly, chill, cares about his clients' comfort, has little ego and really wants people to love their ink. Following his advice was never a mistake, he's an artist you can trust. I'm already planning my next big piece. Beyond Mike, the shop itself is great. My first session was Jan 2024 with Janelle - I had her ink me the Manayunk bridge, some floral work, and some song lyrics. Janelle had been recced to me by a friend and she was wonderful, very personable, and fun to talk to! Sadly she suddenly moved out of state so I wasn't able to book her for my next session. Next session was with Gwen which I was able to coordinate everything via Instagram. I had some floral work and words as a tribute to my Grandma that recently passed away. Gwen was equally as awesome as Janelle and I had a blast hanging out with her while getting inked! Fantastic work by both artists, I will definitely continue to come back here for future work! The facility is very clean and everyone I've interacted with here is great. Some take deposits, some don't but they are cash only and do have an ATM ($300 limit) on site.

After she did some fantastic cosmetic coverup work earlier this year on my leg due to some unsightly veins which I felt embarrassed about, I knew that I could count on her on to draw up a Macaw parrot that I wanted since I was in my early twenties many, many years ago. This was important to me, and she did, but to another level. With her help and my feedback, she created a beautiful work of art that I will be proud of for the rest of my life. I also loved the environment. It was an experience to be around other customers and to hear their stories throughout their process. I specifically enjoyed and looked forward to the idle chit chat between Stephanie and Jackie. They made me laugh and made me feel welcome and comfortable. The space is clean and welcoming and the staff is very friendly and honest about expectations for specific tattoos (ex: finger tats!!!). The shop minimum is $120 and they are cash only. They have an ATM onsite and also accepted digital transfer like venmo and zelle to save on the fees. My most recent visit was about 2 weeks ago, when I walked in to have finger tattoos touched up. They were originally done out of the country and had started to fade a lot, with one almost disappearing. I walked in on a Sunday around the time that they opened and was able to go straight down. My artist did a great job in a short amount of time. I will definitely return to Floating World for future tattoos!

Im completely being ignored and this is so annoying. lol the refund would have been $60 and as a college student this is money that I could use for food, or books!
