I told Mike exactly where I wanted the holes; he made marks and showed me for my OK. One he hit and the other he missed, although not by a lot. Worse still, the holes are at an angle. The hole exits the back of my earlobe lower than where it is in front, so you can see the backings of all studs, and you can tell that the studs are at a 45 degree angle. The place is sanitary, and he is easy to talk to, but won't be going back, have to see someone else about new holes that look right.

He can turn any thought you have into an amazing piece and make it come to life. He is also one of the "lightest hands" I've experienced when it comes to getting tattoo'd. Erik has done over half of all of my tattoos (some not pictured because I wanted to show his primary style) and it is the least amount of discomfort and pain I have experienced. The shop itself is kept very well. Always clean, always organized, and very welcoming comfortable. The other artists within FMT are also very friendly, courteous, and helpful in all aspects. I highly recommend FMT if you are looking for your next or first tattoo.

This confused me because I have seen many people with finger tattoos. Later, my son wanted to get his first tattoo. Although I was hesitant because of my earlier experience, I decided to reach out again because their tattoo work looks very good. I spoke with a lady on the phone who told me to send a picture and said she would get back to me if someone was available to do the tattoo. Five hours passed, and no one ever called back. This was my son's first tattoo, and he was very excited. Eventually, I decided to call again. She then told me, very casually, that she didn't have to call me back and that there was no one available. I explained that they had wasted an entire day--time I could have spent finding another tattoo artist for my son. She laughed. I was completely appalled by the unprofessionalism and lack of communication. If a business can't communicate properly with potential clients, it really makes you question how they handle something as permanent and important as tattooing.

I got my foot tattooed at this shop in 2013. It was a lily in remembrance of my mother who died…read morewhen I was eighteen surrounding my children's names. From the beginning the tattoo itched scabbed swelled and bled. It hurt and it looked bad. I went into the shop multiple times and no one could give me a clear answer. Messages on social media were ignored. Someone from the shop eventually suggested it might be an allergic reaction to metal in the red ink and gave me a home treatment plan with vitamin E, epson salt soaks and cocoa butter. I followed it for twenty weeks and my foot got worse. I was waking up with blood on my sheets from scratching in my sleep and people asked about it because it looked infected not because the tattoo looked good. I later moved to the West Coast and saw other tattoo artists who had zero connection to this shop. Multiple artists told me the work was done incorrectly and that poor technique and ink saturation were likely to blame. A dermatologist also confirmed it did not look like an allergy. The shop tried to say that other artists were probably trying to make them look bad but no one here even knows who they are and they had no reason to defend or criticize anyone in Pennsylvania. Sometimes mistakes happen. Most people understand that. What made this worse was that the shop refused to own anything. Instead they got frustrated that I was pointing out that something was wrong and treated it like an attack instead of a request for help. That reaction made the whole situation worse than it needed to be. It has now been thirteen years and my foot still itches daily, and splits open and bleeds randomly. I deal with it daily because the skin reacts constantly and that physical reminder is hard to ignore. For that reason I think about this shop every single day and not in a good way. Based on my experience I cannot recommend this place and I suggest staying far away.
