She indicated he had be installing for them for approximately 8 years with very good results. We scheduled an appointment with Matt to get the measurements needed to place the order. He totally blew us off and did not show up so we tried several times to contact him to reschedule and he did finally show up. While he was here measuring, Mine called him to chew him out because he was a no-show on a different job and that that customer was upset and that he had lost that job. Mine finally got the order placed with the manufacturer, but didn't confirm the order and it got delayed three weeks because one of the styles we selected was no longer available. So, once the order got back on track. Mine told us she would confirm the order and call us back the next day, but she never did call us to let us know that. When it finally came in, Matt showed up hours late and only stayed for two hours. He brought his son to work with him. He yelled at him constantly. When it was finally done (took 6 days instead of 3) we found subpar work which included: Didn't nail the molding in place in areas like closets. Just leaned them against the walls. Got cement on doors, wooden decks, cement decking, chairs, walls Floor glue all over the new vinyl. Still trying to get it off. Only sealed one major seam, didn't bother to seal seams in the bedroom or bathroom. He dented many of the metal room strips between rooms. He took the left over vinyl for two of the rooms Didn't clean at all when he was done. Didn't do the math correct on his invoice and overcharged us. We didn't notice until after he was gone. He all but destroyed one of our closet door. We had to buy caulking because there were several gaps where you could see the old flooring. We had to fix that also. We waited for years to do this. Very disappointed! Don't use these people. EVER!!!

I was there again yesterday to buy some potting soil and they loaded 8 very large and heavy bags into my car (with a smile) and THEN - Jim, one of the owners came up to my car to shake my hand and introduce himself. Their tool selection is excellent, from yard maintenance to electrical, plumbing, boats, you name it, and also have a good selection of quality work clothes and accessories, mostly Carhartt and Dickies. It's the first place I've seen since childhood that sells nails and screws by the pound. The staff are friendly and extremely knowledgable and not afraid to tell you whether your own hairbrained schemes are going to work. While I've left disappointed for not finding what I was looking for, they've spared me a good deal of heartache from finding out on my own that my notions weren't likely to succeed, most recently in trying to find a cap for the lower spout on my water hauling tank. They also routinely have some of the cheapest gas prices in town. I usually try to fill up down in CDA when I'm down there for work as it's often 20-40 cents cheaper than Sandpoint or Bonner's Ferry, but if I'm not heading down that way, this is where I go to fuel up. More than anything, I like that this place brings that small town Hardware store feel, but packs it with big box store level selection and service. It seems like a very happy marriage between two very opposite ideas. Highly recommended!

Reps only attained after certain voice and digit entries made, very by-chance, Extremely frustrating. My last rep was EXTREMELY RUDE. Told it didn't matter what was agreed upon with last rep, "that's why you read the mail mailed to you".
