I don't ever write a review but I felt compelled to do so. Mr Kim is not only the definition of professional but he went above and beyond. I had an issue with locking my tool shed. I had called a previous locksmith who quoted me a price and doubled it when he got here and did a shoddy job. That is why I called Mr Kim. He not only replaced my lock he replaced my bottom knob because it was rusted out and redid my striker plates at no extra charge. He also tightened my door hinges and filed my keys so they would go in and out with ease. The best part he quoted me a price he kept and did extra work that was cheaper than the previous locksmith!!! All I can do is reiterate what others have said about Mr. Kim; prompt, courteous and reasonably priced. For some reason my car ignition has a dust cover tang that dropped down and prevented the key from going in. In less than an hour he had it cleaned and repaired. That's a good response time for a car lockout on a Monday morning. I hope it's not necessary but I will call him again if I ever need a locksmith in Everett. read more

Quick response, fast service great price! My one year took my keys and hid them somewhere still yet to be found. I called around and was being told up to $400 to have someone come cut a new key on site :/ called Evergreen and it was under $100 :) came right out in less than 30 min and fixed in under 1 hour! Outstanding quick service. One of our doors at our business would not shut because of a broken lock mechanism. The owner, I forget his name, came within a couple of hours, replaced the broken knob set, replaced two other cylinder mechansims on locks that have been a pain for years. They now all work like butter. the team appreciates all new keys and no more fussing. Wish I would have called him years ago. Prices were very reasonable. No emergency fee. As we've all heard before, cheapest price does not always mean a good deal. I had 6 locks rekeyed and after a few months 3 of them stopped working. Mr. Kim kept telling me it was my keys, but obviously that was not the case as ALL my keys stopped working at once, even the originals Mr. Kim provided. The work is only guaranteed for 90 days and Mr. Kim would not back the poor work that was done. While his initial response time when rekeying my locks was good, the product/workmanship was inferior ~ and a waste of money. read more

I called for help when we had a garage door lock with a broken key in it. I was quoted a reasonable price over the phone, and the fellow arrived within an hour, right when he said he would. It turned out the job needed a little more work than he expected, but he completed the job without charging any more. Very quick and courteous and fair priced. We had sold our home and was moving out. During the move-out, a family member inadvertenly locked an internal bedroom door, and a key was not to be found. I called one somewhere and they couldn't help and referred me to another. I called that referred place and they were out for the weekend! I got on the net and found Evergreen Lock & Key. We recently had Evergreen re-key our new house. Sellers claimed they did not have any original keys, and relied solely upon the electronic key pad. Evergreen had to make two "original" keys, and then re-key 8 locks. I think it basically doubled the amount of work they had to do, but they only charged us an extra ten bucks. Would definitely use Evergreen again. read more

My lovely wife locked her keys in the mini-van, so I called this place and they said they could get out in 30 minutes, a lot quicker than I could get home and return...so I gave them the location 41st and Rucker (downtown Everett, easy for a company based in Everett supposedly...) but the guy was confused apparently and his GPS wasn't working right, point being is for 45 minutes he was just 5 minutes out then it was no realy another 20min sorry man; cause i called every 5 minutes...upon his arrival he pulled two airbags and a 5' long steel rod from the back of his unmarked unidentified car; as he was inflating the bags he noted there was a $30 dollar dispatch fee and the service was $130 bucks WTF? Really? 1st, it took No Shit, 2 minutes for him to gain access and 2nd for him to charge me a dispatch charge for strining me along for 1hour and 35minutes REALLY?? Never again, I figured callin a specialty company they'd be able to open my vehicle with a little more grace than airbags and prying; should have just called a tow company. I gave them 2 stars because he was successful in resolving my issue. read more

Beware of price quotes with this company. I called and gave detailed information on what I needed....chipped key stollen, only had an Un-chipped key for the door... I was quoted $19 for the call and $75 for the key. I was at a different location at the time I called and said I would call back. When I did, I gave the same information and I was quoted $29 for the call and $95 for the key and it would be a 1 1/2-2 hour wait. I asked why the difference and she couldn't tell me. Phone staff was a bit short with me. When the guy arrived, he fiddled about a bit and said it would be $200 without a guarantee that the key would always work. $50 more if I wanted it guaranteed. I said I didn't even have that much (I only had $150) so forget it. It would be cheaper to tow it to a dealer and have one made. He offered to reduce the price to $185. I said no and he said ok, just pay the $19 service call fee. About them a gal called me and said I heard you have a problem with the fee. Getting angry I explained everything to her, again. She hung up on me! I was looking up the dealers phone number when the guy came up to me and said he would do it for $150. It was hot, I was tired of waiting and said, just do it. Later I found out my daughter had had a similar experience.....beware! read more
