The food was what you expect from a diner. The seats are old and should get reupholstered. I do wish there was more life in the building as well. The service was great. The waitress came by multiple times and asked it there was anything else we need. I am currently going back and forth if I want to come again

Played early pickleball at nearby EVC. Then came with a friend for Saturday brunch. I ordered their Banh Mi Skillet and was very satisfied with all the ingredients: 2 eggs which I ordered scrambled easy soft, and it was right on chinese sausages, sliced a swat of pate wedge of laughing cow spreadable cheese stir fried ground pork crispy tater tots and brussel sprouts chips pickled carrots and daikons french roll sliced bread Serving was large, half was taken home as leftovers for another meal. Highly recommend this dish as I had loved it and don't know any other restaurants that serve it.

We went there at 10 AM for breakfast for the first time, located in a small strip mall, plenty of parking in front. We got a booth, service was prompt, coffee fresh. The menu had some unique offerings, asian flair , fusion. I ordered Pandan mochi waffle with crispy korean chicken ... my delicious. I recommend this place, hidden neighborhood gem. it is good if you have a big group, larger tables available. Will defiantly go back and try other things.

Lots of parking & lots of seating! this place is definitely a hidden gem, you probably won't ever need to be in the area, so unless your here to just support & try out this spot, you will be missing out & kinda bummed, that's its legit in the "boonies" Location is for reals The Villages, but if your a foodie & of course Yelper! than it's a Must Try. Friendly service from the time you walk in, get seated, taking the order & waiting. Food presentation is A1 & the best part is, it's Really Yummy seems a little overwhelming when your deciding what to order, American, Asian or Hispanic & a little bit of Indian. I'm for sure going back to try other things in the menu & than trying them out for lunch/dinner. A Must Visit, if you happen to be in The Area, OR you're just trying to add more reviews on your account. You will not be disappointed

I've eaten here three times since it opened, located inside another restaurant. The breakfasts have all been tasty, I usually order one appetizer and one breakfast. They offer various breakfast or lunch specials, I like to come to try out different ones. The staff are nice and helpful, the place is quiet, where you can bring your friends to eat a quiet, leisurely brunch. The price is right for a restaurant located in East San Jose. My favorite breakfast is the Korean fried chicken with pandan waffles, they're very delicious and filling. The place is located in the outdoor mall by the Villages, with the Bonfare Market and U.S. Bank. Try it, the food is tasty!

Decent brunch place used to be a lunch/dinner place in evergreen The service was well with only 1 server in the morning. The facility is kind of old as there's no changing table in the bathroom Food was ok. I like my avocado toast, however a bit disappointed at the fruit pancake where there's not much fruit in there. The environment is quiet and joyful especially with a fish tank and big flower tree in the front. Price is decent as we paid $130ish for 6 people.

This restaurant is so very cute and quaint located really in the heart of Evergreen. Not many tables when we came in but business did pick up after we sat down. There was only one server so that was new for me because originally I thought that the service was slow, however with the rest of my tables second opinions, I did come to realize that it was because he was the only server. And giving him the credit he deserves, he handled himself very well. The food was surprisingly good and I finished my plate. For the simplicity of each menu item, it's definitely worth to try everything that you can. I do plan to try other items when I come back:

Tried this place today and it did not disappoint. Pond, our waiter really took care of us! we got the basil tornado and pandan waffles with a side of two eggs. They recently just changed their menu and added asian fusion to the mix. It was amazing!!! so flavorful and pretty good size. the pandan waffles were perfect, crunchy, and soft on the inside. The ambiance was like an old diner but honestly the food and service didn't disappoint. Our server also let us try some new things on the menu which was so nice!

The food was delicious and the service was even better. Huy was friendly and engaged us in conversation making us feel right at home and eager to return. The pandan mochi waffles we awesome, the hollandaise sauce is on point and the Chil-a-killers were yummo. Don't forget the Vietnamese coffee. Can't wait to go back.

Two eggs overeasy cooked perfectly, sausage and bacon (sausage is a bit small), brussel sprouts and potatoes, bread is not toasted.

New breakfast restaurant in the Evergreen area of east San Jose that opened March 2025. Pros: * I like they give brussel sprouts with potatoes as an option. * Overeasy eggs were cooked perfectly. * Nice that they give both sausage and bacon. Cons: * Bread is not toasted. * Coffee with plain half & half doesn't have a lot of flavor, just plain house coffee. * Sausage is a bit small.

We came in for a quick breakfast towards the end of breakfast time on a regular Monday. The seating is spaced out nicely so the environment wouldn't be noisy if it got super crowded. We found out that they just started serving breakfast about 2 months ago and then reopen for dinner under AK Kitchen. The food wasn't overwhelming and tasteful. I love that I was able to order pandan waffle instead of regular waffles!! When I like to order my eggs over medium, a lot of places usually undercook the eggs. The eggs were just right. We also ordered regular coffee. You would think, that's no big deal. But if you normally order coffee, you will know that coffee is hit or miss at a lot of places. The coffee is here was bold and flavorful, not watered down! To top it all off, we were introduced to the signiture peach iced tea. Mmmm The owner seems very humble and was serving as well. Highly recommend this place!!

    Thai coffee. So good!

Hidden gem is right! I'm usually hesitant to try Asian Fusion places as a lot of places end up being underseasoned and gimmicky. The flavors here though are wonderful with very much dimension! I got the Banh Mi Skillet, which was full of spices and flavors that were just right. All of the textures were well blended, every ingredient cooked to perfectly bring out their flavors, and the presentation was great. My table shared the Pandan Waffles which were super fluffy and the mochi texture was very fun. Most importantly, it was *not too sweet*! Any sweetness came from the dollops of whipped cream and fruits on the side. Lastly, the Thai Coffee (coffee with coconut milk) was as solid as can be! If you like coconut and coffee, go for it. There was no line on Sunday morning which is a wonderful relief in this busy city. Service was excellent and we even got in a good chat with our waiter (when it wasn't busy)! Overall an excellent experience that I'd definitely come back for and share with friends! Honestly, quite an underrated place.

I was surfing yelp for a last minute brunch spot in the area and came across this hidden gem. I came as a group of 3 and we were instantly seated as there wasn't a lot of people on a weekday morning at 11am. Our server was very nice and attentive, he was giving us time to decide what we'd like to order and was sure to check in on us/refill our waters every time it was low. I loved how he wasn't too needy since we were catching up on life and conversing a lot. I was craving something savory for brunch so I opted for their Asian dishes and got myself the Basil Egg Tornado. This is NOT like omurice! The egg was essentially like a plain omelet that was twisted before it finished cooking. It sat on top of plain jasmine rice. There wasn't a lot of flavor for the tornado so it was mainly to help balance the taste with the stir fry. On the side, it had the vegetables and protein, I chose chicken out of the three options. It was extremely flavorful without being overpowering. If it is too much for your flavor palette, the jasmine rice and tornado helps balance it out. You're able to choose spice levels for it, but a lot of places gauge it differently, so I asked how spicy medium was, and our server told me it wasn't super spicy... It was spicy for me, and super spicy if you eat the Thai chilis without seeing them in your bite. Thai chilis are super spicy! I had to pick out the chilis to enjoy the meal without suffering from a surprising bite of chili. Flavor wise, it was very flavorful. I tasted the subtle hints of fish sauce and oyster sauce which paired well with the vegtebles and chicken. Overall, I would rate the dish a 4/5. For my drink, I ordered a Strawberry Mimosa, the other option was a Regular Orange Mimosa. The drink itself tasted predominantly like champagne. I didn't really taste the strawberry in it. Based off of the color of the drink, it looks like it was champagne mixed with strawberry syrup. Since it tasted just like champagne, I would rate it a 3/5. I would want to come back to try some of their other fusion dishes, or their actual breakfast items!

It wasn't too busy and even though they had an 18 birthday party in their patio we didn't feel like it was overbearing the vibe. Food came out quickly. My sister and I took the same grilled chicken sandwich and we were a little disappointed. The prices aren't cheap, I don't think I even had 3 oz of chicken breast there. It was supposed to come with pesto mayo inside and it had maybe a tsp of it in there, really couldn't tell. The sandwich had no flavor and if anything the little piece of chicken breast was a little burnt. The burgers our friends ordered said they were great so maybe just avoid the grilled chicken sandwich. I did like that there was no problem swapping the fries with a salad. Will I come back, probably not, did it serve its purpose, sure, wasn't hungry after but also didn't enjoy it much

First, I definitely recommend making a reservation in advance, especially if you want to sit outdoors. Watching the sunset from the patio was absolutely beautiful and made the experience even better. We started with the ceviche, which was super fresh, citrusy, and full of flavor. It did have a good amount of jalapeños, so keep that in mind if you're sensitive to spice, but honestly, it was really good. For the mains, I ordered the Bolognese pasta, and my partner had the surf & turf pasta. Both dishes were delicious and you could really tell the ingredients were high quality. And then... dessert. OMG. We tried the Dubai chocolate dessert, and it was incredible, definitely one of the highlights of the night. One thing I really appreciated was learning more about the restaurant itself. Our server explained that many of the ingredients are homemade and locally sourced. They even have their own winery, and a lot of the products served come directly from the farm around the property, including some of the meats and produce. You can genuinely taste the freshness and quality in the food. I will say, the pasta prices felt reasonable, while some of the steak options were definitely on the higher-end side. But overall, the experience felt worth it. I already know I'll be coming back during the summer to enjoy the view again and try more from the menu.

I used to visit the BJs near my house in the North Bay, but that closed a few years ago, and I was actually looking forward to a BJs Reunion! , We got there just after opening and were promptly seated by the hostess, and then greeted by our server, Hector T., who took our drink orders - we already had a plan for those! The drinks included a "lucky ducky," served in a little white bathtub and, of course, with a yellow rubber ducky floating in it. This tub held at least six types of liquor! The person who ordered seemed to really enjoy it! The ambience here is clean, very traditional BJs decor with the bar visible and attractive with lights and colors and textures of all the bottles on the wall behind. We ordered a few items, including a Blonde fish 'n chips (but subbed a fruit bowl for the chips, so more like a "fish 'n fruits" dish!), a strawberry fields chicken salad, and honey sriracha Brussels sprouts with a side wedge salad (no bacon, extra dressing!). The food came quickly and was well-plated, and looked too good to eat. But eat we did . . . The salad was a big wedge, very fresh and crispy, with diced tomato, red onion, and crumbled blue cheese. The fish was fresh and light, and the strawberry salad was fresh as well, with just enough protein to balance out the veggies. I love these Brussels sprouts, lightly charred and drizzled with a tasty, slightly tangy sauce. And, of course, we had to try the "new" (limited-time) blue Monster pizookie. Yes, blue! It was vanilla bean ice cream, with a hard chocolate shell (like the old-fashioned ice cream cones were dipped in) on a hot, chewy brownie base. All the food was great, the service was excellent (thank you, Hector), and the meal was very relaxed. A great time overall.

The addition of linguica set this omelette apart from others. They were generous with the fillings which included bacon, sausage, ham, mushroom and both Jack and cheddar cheese (held the bell peppers). The Spanish Sauce had onions and bell peppers; a little oniony sweet with the slight tomato flavor. It's like a cross between a light gravy and salsa. The pancakes were ok; a little dense. Also came with half a plate of perfectly grilled hash brown that's crispy outside and soft inside. The Carne Asada plate from the small plate section was not small at all. It came with two soft corn tacos filled with marinated slices of beef topped with onions and cilantro. Came with yummy red rice and refried beans. The red rice was really good. The Carne asada was also well marinated with tasty beefy flavor but a bit dry so kind of chewy. It also had a side of salsa verde which was also good which added the tart flavor and a little kick. They offer the omelette in a healthier option called Ketogenic Scramble which had all the protein but no Spanish sauce, and had a bowl of mixed fruits instead of the pancakes and hash brown. They have really good serving size. Reasonably priced especially for the amount of food they give you. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Food came out so quickly, too.
