Know before you go: - Friendly service - Plenty of availability and seating (no wait time even on prime brunch time) - Tons of parking in their lot - Kitchen moves at a slower rate - Looks like an OG diner - Fusion is unique, and includes and interesting take on Thai, Korean, Mexican, American, Vietnamese and Chinese food We ordered: - Avocado toast w/ Sunny Side up - Chil-a-killers: over easy with green salsa - Korean Fried Chicken Waffles with kimchi, pickled cucumbers, hot honey and pandan waffles - Pho Ga - 2 Eggs Platter with Chicken Sausage and tater tots, side of pancakes - Panang Curry with Roti (roti seemed like a toasted tortilla?)

Played early pickleball at nearby EVC. Then came with a friend for Saturday brunch. I ordered their Banh Mi Skillet and was very satisfied with all the ingredients: 2 eggs which I ordered scrambled easy soft, and it was right on chinese sausages, sliced a swat of pate wedge of laughing cow spreadable cheese stir fried ground pork crispy tater tots and brussel sprouts chips pickled carrots and daikons french roll sliced bread Serving was large, half was taken home as leftovers for another meal. Highly recommend this dish as I had loved it and don't know any other restaurants that serve it.

Came here during a Saturday morning and to my surprise, there was no one there so we were sat immediately. We ordered their clam chowder and their Vietnamese sizzling steak plate. Their clam chowder came with bacon bits and a side of prawn chips, In which we never saw before. The flavor was okay, it was really creamy overall. Their sizzling plate dish was also just okay coming with a fusion of flavors. This included Pate, 2 eggs, tater tots, pickle veggies, brussel sprouts, cheese, salsa and minced pork. Overall this dish was super confusing in terms of flavor, we felt like part of dish did not really go together.

We went there at 10 AM for breakfast for the first time, located in a small strip mall, plenty of parking in front. We got a booth, service was prompt, coffee fresh. The menu had some unique offerings, asian flair , fusion. I ordered Pandan mochi waffle with crispy korean chicken ... my delicious. I recommend this place, hidden neighborhood gem. it is good if you have a big group, larger tables available. Will defiantly go back and try other things.

Lots of parking & lots of seating! this place is definitely a hidden gem, you probably won't ever need to be in the area, so unless your here to just support & try out this spot, you will be missing out & kinda bummed, that's its legit in the "boonies" Location is for reals The Villages, but if your a foodie & of course Yelper! than it's a Must Try. Friendly service from the time you walk in, get seated, taking the order & waiting. Food presentation is A1 & the best part is, it's Really Yummy seems a little overwhelming when your deciding what to order, American, Asian or Hispanic & a little bit of Indian. I'm for sure going back to try other things in the menu & than trying them out for lunch/dinner. A Must Visit, if you happen to be in The Area, OR you're just trying to add more reviews on your account. You will not be disappointed

I've eaten here three times since it opened, located inside another restaurant. The breakfasts have all been tasty, I usually order one appetizer and one breakfast. They offer various breakfast or lunch specials, I like to come to try out different ones. The staff are nice and helpful, the place is quiet, where you can bring your friends to eat a quiet, leisurely brunch. The price is right for a restaurant located in East San Jose. My favorite breakfast is the Korean fried chicken with pandan waffles, they're very delicious and filling. The place is located in the outdoor mall by the Villages, with the Bonfare Market and U.S. Bank. Try it, the food is tasty!

Decent brunch place used to be a lunch/dinner place in evergreen The service was well with only 1 server in the morning. The facility is kind of old as there's no changing table in the bathroom Food was ok. I like my avocado toast, however a bit disappointed at the fruit pancake where there's not much fruit in there. The environment is quiet and joyful especially with a fish tank and big flower tree in the front. Price is decent as we paid $130ish for 6 people.

This restaurant is so very cute and quaint located really in the heart of Evergreen. Not many tables when we came in but business did pick up after we sat down. There was only one server so that was new for me because originally I thought that the service was slow, however with the rest of my tables second opinions, I did come to realize that it was because he was the only server. And giving him the credit he deserves, he handled himself very well. The food was surprisingly good and I finished my plate. For the simplicity of each menu item, it's definitely worth to try everything that you can. I do plan to try other items when I come back:

I was surfing yelp for a last minute brunch spot in the area and came across this hidden gem. I came as a group of 3 and we were instantly seated as there wasn't a lot of people on a weekday morning at 11am. Our server was very nice and attentive, he was giving us time to decide what we'd like to order and was sure to check in on us/refill our waters every time it was low. I loved how he wasn't too needy since we were catching up on life and conversing a lot. I was craving something savory for brunch so I opted for their Asian dishes and got myself the Basil Egg Tornado. This is NOT like omurice! The egg was essentially like a plain omelet that was twisted before it finished cooking. It sat on top of plain jasmine rice. There wasn't a lot of flavor for the tornado so it was mainly to help balance the taste with the stir fry. On the side, it had the vegetables and protein, I chose chicken out of the three options. It was extremely flavorful without being overpowering. If it is too much for your flavor palette, the jasmine rice and tornado helps balance it out. You're able to choose spice levels for it, but a lot of places gauge it differently, so I asked how spicy medium was, and our server told me it wasn't super spicy... It was spicy for me, and super spicy if you eat the Thai chilis without seeing them in your bite. Thai chilis are super spicy! I had to pick out the chilis to enjoy the meal without suffering from a surprising bite of chili. Flavor wise, it was very flavorful. I tasted the subtle hints of fish sauce and oyster sauce which paired well with the vegtebles and chicken. Overall, I would rate the dish a 4/5. For my drink, I ordered a Strawberry Mimosa, the other option was a Regular Orange Mimosa. The drink itself tasted predominantly like champagne. I didn't really taste the strawberry in it. Based off of the color of the drink, it looks like it was champagne mixed with strawberry syrup. Since it tasted just like champagne, I would rate it a 3/5. I would want to come back to try some of their other fusion dishes, or their actual breakfast items!

Tried this place today and it did not disappoint. Pond, our waiter really took care of us! we got the basil tornado and pandan waffles with a side of two eggs. They recently just changed their menu and added asian fusion to the mix. It was amazing!!! so flavorful and pretty good size. the pandan waffles were perfect, crunchy, and soft on the inside. The ambiance was like an old diner but honestly the food and service didn't disappoint. Our server also let us try some new things on the menu which was so nice!

Two eggs overeasy cooked perfectly, sausage and bacon (sausage is a bit small), brussel sprouts and potatoes, bread is not toasted.

New breakfast restaurant in the Evergreen area of east San Jose that opened March 2025. Pros: * I like they give brussel sprouts with potatoes as an option. * Overeasy eggs were cooked perfectly. * Nice that they give both sausage and bacon. Cons: * Bread is not toasted. * Coffee with plain half & half doesn't have a lot of flavor, just plain house coffee. * Sausage is a bit small.

The food was delicious and the service was even better. Huy was friendly and engaged us in conversation making us feel right at home and eager to return. The pandan mochi waffles we awesome, the hollandaise sauce is on point and the Chil-a-killers were yummo. Don't forget the Vietnamese coffee. Can't wait to go back.

We came in for a quick breakfast towards the end of breakfast time on a regular Monday. The seating is spaced out nicely so the environment wouldn't be noisy if it got super crowded. We found out that they just started serving breakfast about 2 months ago and then reopen for dinner under AK Kitchen. The food wasn't overwhelming and tasteful. I love that I was able to order pandan waffle instead of regular waffles!! When I like to order my eggs over medium, a lot of places usually undercook the eggs. The eggs were just right. We also ordered regular coffee. You would think, that's no big deal. But if you normally order coffee, you will know that coffee is hit or miss at a lot of places. The coffee is here was bold and flavorful, not watered down! To top it all off, we were introduced to the signiture peach iced tea. Mmmm The owner seems very humble and was serving as well. Highly recommend this place!!

    Thai coffee. So good!

It is a tiny restaurant nestled in between CVS and another business, I forget what. But there is a tree blocking their signage and the additional small stand-up sign barely draws enough attention to the location. Restaurant is small, but the service is prompt and friendly. You order through a QR code on the table and all mobile devices ordering from the same table will have their orders consolidated. Beef Udon stir fry is tasty, but as many have said, on the sweeter side. Loooooove the texture and chew of the udon noodles. Very springy, almost like korean rice cakes or gnocchi. Sake chirashi bowl was delicious too. Would be nice if the wasabi was on the side. My daughter loves sashimi but can't handle when the wasabi touches the fish. Too spicy for her. Freshness of the fish is good. It's not the luxury cut of salmon, but the quality is still very worthwhile. Can't go wrong with Cali Roll, sweet potato fries, and spring rolls (fried egg rolls). Kids gobbled them right up. My bestie also ordered a sizzling plate which she finished just as quickly. Definitely RECOMMEND this spot for small get togethers, party of 5 or less. They may not have much in sushi variety, but what they dish up, they serve with pride with modest prices. Cheers to the sweet woman who gave our kids lollipops after their meal. Birthday Fireworks, Family Memories & Elevated Dining at Trifecta…read more My husband and I celebrated our birthdays at Trifecta this year with our children, and it turned into such a memorable evening. Our neighbors first introduced us to this family-owned gem, and one of the things that keeps us coming back is the genuinely warm and personable service. You can truly feel the care they put into both the food and the dining experience. While my son and I aren't huge seafood or sushi eaters, we can absolutely appreciate the artistry behind Trifecta's sushi. Every dish is beautifully presented, thoughtfully crafted, and made with incredibly fresh ingredients and elevated garnishes. We're just admittedly picky eaters who tend to gravitate toward our comfort favorites like chicken or beef teriyaki. The restaurant is usually packed, so reservations are definitely recommended if you don't want a long wait. Surprisingly, this visit was a little quieter than usual, which made for a nice relaxed atmosphere. My husband and daughter were interested in trying the Chef's Tasting Menu, but we learned it's designed as a full-table dining experience where everyone participates -- something we may plan for another visit. The standout dishes of the night were definitely the corn ribs and chicken karaage. The corn ribs disappeared before I could even snap a photo because everyone devoured them immediately! My family also loved the Pork Adobo Ribs special. I'll admit, Trifecta is more of a special occasion restaurant for us. The bill can climb quickly, especially with multiple sushi lovers at the table, but the quality, creativity, service, and overall experience absolutely reflect that higher-end dining experience. This isn't your average weekly sushi spot -- it's a place you go to celebrate. To top off the night, the staff surprised us with dessert decorated with sparkling light-up fireworks, which made our birthday celebration feel extra festive and thoughtful. The only downside of the evening had nothing to do with the restaurant itself -- unfortunately, a couple at a nearby table was quite loud, drunk, and disruptive. Thankfully, the incredible food and attentive staff still made the night feel special overall. Highly recommended for celebrations, date nights, and anyone looking for elevated food paired with exceptional hospitality.

However, once you step inside, you're greeted with an amazing dining experience that far surpasses initial impressions. Ambiance and Decor: The interior is modern and tastefully designed, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. A standout feature is the glass wine cellar situated at the center of the restaurant, adding a touch of elegance. Even the restrooms are impeccably clean--a detail that reflects the establishment's commitment to excellence. Cuisine and Menu: While the menu isn't vast, it offers a wide range of options catering to every taste and dietary requirement. The appetizers are generously portioned, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. We started with the Vegetarian Spring Rolls, which included two rolls cut in half--each half the size of a full spring roll at other restaurants. Served with a well-crafted hoisin peanut sauce, the portion was so ample that we took half of it home. The Quails Appetizer was a delightful surprise, arriving as a substantial serving that resembled a main dish. The quail was expertly prepared with a mild teriyaki glaze and accompanied by a fresh side salad. Both appetizers set a high standard for the rest of the meal. For the main course, we ordered the Combination Vermicelli with Prawns and Egg Roll, requesting prawns only. The dish came in a large bowl with a side sauce and was abundant with prawns--enough to satisfy two diners. The highlight was the Salmon Wellington. Presented beautifully, the salmon was wrapped in spinach and encased in crispy puff pastry, resting on a bed of delicious lemon beurre sauce and asparagus. Words can't do justice to how amazing this dish was; we found ourselves using the fresh bread to savor every last bit of the sauce. Again, the portion was generous enough for two. Wine List: The wine list is very good and the prices are very reasonable. Service and Experience: From our seating area, we could view the kitchen through a large window, watching the owner chef work his magic. The service was impeccable throughout the evening. We personally thanked the chef for the incredible experience. Conclusion: The combination of superb service, excellent presentation, inviting ambiance, and reasonable prices made for an unforgettable dining experience. I only wish we had discovered Elements Restaurant sooner. It's perfect for a romantic dinner or special occasion, yet the pricing makes it suitable for any day of the week. Great place for bringing friends and family. I strongly recommend that you visit this amazing gem--don't wait! Note: They also offer an extensive take-away menu, which is even larger than their dine-in selection.

We started out with the quail appetizer, which was a little disappointing. The quail seemed overcooked, which I'd imagine is easy to do with such a small bird, but both the cook and flavor were nothing to write home about. Just too dry. I'm not one who loves to deal with the difficulty of eating something small with minimal meat, but am more than willing to if it's prepared well and tastes great, but this didn't meet either mark. I think a closer to correct cook would have helped a lot. However, the other dishes were very good. The tea flavored duck was prepared VERY well, nice cook and delicately flavored. Liked this one a lot. Some taro there as well for carb/starch lovers - also good. I would definitely order this again. The Salmon Wellington was overall good - I think it could have been a bit more seasoned, but overall, we still enjoyed it. I'd likely not order this again, not because it wasn't good, but I'd want to try other dishes on the menu. The mango panna cotta was overall good. Not special, but solid. We'd come back here again. We went on a Friday lunch around 1pm, and it wasn't busy at all! They gave the most generous banchan portion size I've ever seen. It was this HUGE platter with fish cake, kimchi, spicy bean sprouts, seaweed, and japchae. All of it was really tasty but I particularly loved the kimchi cuz it wasn't bitter but rather sweet! I feel like I rarely see fish roe tofu soup so I was intrigued to try it. I guess I don't really like fish roe. I couldn't get over the texture. It was so stiff. The tofu and soup itself were really tasty tho, so I'd def get it again next time but with a different protein. I liked how soft the tofu was. The galbi was amazing. Very pricey but great flavor, some of the best I've tasted. The portion size was pretty big as well, but there were a lot of fatty pieces. The eel rice looked the best. The eel was solid, but it came with too much rice and the rice had a really strong ginger taste to it which I didn't particularly like. The only thing I didn't like was the miso soup because it had a weird aftertaste. Service was quick and server was nice! Overall, amazing food options but it is very pricey.

We ordered the Seafood Noodle Soup and the Seafood Bibimbap. While we were waiting for our food, the waitress gave us some complimentary banchans. The Seafood Noodle Soup had a good amount of seafood. The Seafood Bibimbap was pretty hot when it got to our table. They were generous with the portions and the prices were reasonable. We will back to try some of their other entrees.

Since that night, it has become the only seafood boil spot that I consistently come back to. My go-to order is the shrimp and crawfish with their Sweet California sauce, along with a side of garlic noodles. The Sweet California sauce is what keeps me returning. It's not your typical Cajun seafood boil sauce--it has a unique flavor that's completely its own and sets this place apart from every other seafood boil restaurant I've tried. Depending on when you visit, the restaurant can either be packed or nearly empty. It's a smaller space, and large parties tend to come through often, so wait times can vary. One thing to keep in mind is that the host, server, and food runner are often the same person. Because of that, I always try to give them some grace. If you need something, just let them know, and they'll do their best to take care of you as quickly as possible. Don't let the small exterior fool you--this place is absolutely delicious. Whether it's 11 a.m. or 3 a.m., I'll happily find myself back here for another seafood boil.

This place gets pretty busy so just keep in mind you might have to wait before getting seated. As for food, we ordered the 3lb combo (1 crawfish, 2 shrimp) in sweet California mild, rice, fries and grilled oysters. The combo came out pretty fast. I really love this sweet California sauce- it's creamy and delicious. I would even try medium since I hardly taste the spice for a mild. The fries and grilled oyster took a while to come out. Fries were good. The grilled oysters were yummy but I don't think I'd order them again. Service can be a bit slow. I would ask them for more limes or a bowl and they would forget and I would have to ask them again. However, I will say the workers here are very kind! Overall, good food, ok service - definitely coming back!

I ended up trying their crispy pad see ew and their thai fried rice as well. I usually order pad thai, but decided to try something new since I never really see crispy pad see ew. It was also amazing! Crunchy noodles that have parts that soak up the sauce well. I am glad I ordered it! The thai fried rice had a nice basil aroma throughout, which was good, my bf loved it! They come with chili sauce, so it can be a lil spicy (especially when the food is hot). Food truck located in an area with a few other food trucks around. There is parking, which is good. Some seating in front of the truck. There is a bit of a wait, but not an issue as the food is freshhhh and delicious! I suggest checking their IG story for updates. Breakfast is where Village Grill really shines. The plates come out warm, hearty, and comforting, with that classic, no‑nonsense flavor that makes the first meal of the day feel special. It's the kind of breakfast that makes you want to linger a little longer, catch up, and enjoy the morning. As good as the food is, the Michelada is the real showstopper if you're looking for a breakfast drink. It's bold, refreshing, and perfectly balanced--easily one of the best reasons to stop in early. It adds a fun, flavorful kick to the whole experience and pairs beautifully with the breakfast menu. I did try the menudo for breakfast, and it just didn't have the same flavor or appeal as others. It wasn't bad, but it didn't stand out the way their breakfast dishes do. Village Grill's strengths are clearly in their morning offerings, and that's where the quality and flavor really come through. Stick with breakfast--especially when you're meeting friends--and you're in for a great time. Between the smooth Sunday wait, the standout dishes, and that unforgettable Michelada, Village Grill makes starting the day feel easy and enjoyable.
