    Large Bday Mimosa!

Took our daughter over for breakfast and staff really treated her well! Highly recommended for a 21st birthday breakfast.... The mimosa she got was one of a kind! This is not your grandma's mimosa restaurant! But if your grandma is cool she will like this place. Service Food and One of a kind bday huuuuuuge mimosa served with crazy straws.

Mimosashas a variety of menu items available. I've had an omelet that was super bland that I didn't care for, but have ordered several other items like the chili Verde that were extremely tasty. The interior of this location could definitely use some updates but nothing glaringly bad. The service is always friendly.

Went for Brunch today we've been here before but it is under new ownership and we are so happy we came ! First let me tell you about our server her name is Maria and she made our visit so unforgettable she's a pistol ! And was on top of all our requests, the food is so flavorful the quesobirria was so delicious my sister said best taco she's ever had and we eat a lot of tacos ! we all tried it and agree, the chilaquiles were also very flavorful ! The owner came out and greeted us. I can't say this enough but you need to check it out and ask for Maria !

    Billed one price, charged another.

TLDR: 2 Stars, only because the food was decent and the waitress was nice. Billing practice is shady So yesterday I took a dip by Mimosas in San Jose. I've been there once before years ago and thought it was decent. So yesterday, the food was fine, but nothing memorable, no biggie. So we got the bill, noticed the charges, and while I thought it was a little questionable, but fine. I paid with card. The waitress came back with the receipt for me to sign, in which I realized the price on the receipt isn't the price on the bill. She overheard me talking to my guy about it and mentioned that it was the system that automatically up charges if a CC is used. Now I'm not against the policy, if I was made aware of it. But I think this is sneaky practice to bill someone one total and charge them another without proper notice. I won't be going back, but in the event you're thinking about going there, just a heads up.

We've been twice now and the service was great the first time but slow and inattentive the second. Both times we were there with a mostly full restaurant. With so few breakfast options in the area for corned beef or Benedict it's decent food. The bacon chicken waffle was just ok. Skinny chicken strips with buffalo favor and semi cooked bacon in the waffle. . The Benedict met the expectations for Benedict. Likely to be back just know I wouldn't probably order that again

Went here for my boyfriend's birthday and it's a nice cozy spot if you're a drinker. The serving of the food is also very generous so it's worth the price. I would say the quality of the food was OK. I loved the waffles and the hashed browns. The service was also quite fast, surprisingly! I'm not a drinker but we had the mimosa and it was nice, light, and sweet!

I love the burritos!! They are so juicy and big and so flavorful! The service is so fast and kind as well!

I been coming here for a while! It's always a great time along with amazing food! I'm very picky with my food but this place never disappoints me. The staff is always friendly and actually has conversations with you. I love you have the option to eat indoors or outdoors.

Good brunch place if you wanna have Mimosas! Super Mimosa is gigantic and try it at your own risk! We got the Lychee Mimosa which was awesome. Loved the Mimosa but that Crab and Shrimp omelette just did not hit the right chords. I have had much better breakfast omelettes. The Nutella S'mores French toasts was pretty darn good with the right ingredients. Highly recommended. Place has potential and I'm gonna come back to try other menu options.

New owners, the food was delicious! The best Bria tacos I ever had! Our waitress Maria was amazing, very attentive and kind! Food came out fast hot chips and salsa was on the table as we sat down and Maria was right there to refill our drinks and chips before we had to ask! I recommend everyone give this restaurant a try, you won't be disappointed!

I haven't been to Mimosas in awhile. I have to say I was a bit disappointed. When we walked in there was not a customer or employee in sight. Finally, a few minutes later, a gentleman popped up from the back. He directed us to pick a table. We chose a table by the window. We ordered the Fire Chilaquiles and substituted chorizo with sausage and a Meat Lover's Skillet with a Super Mimosa. I hate to be brutally honest but the smell of Fabuloso is disturbing. It kind of affected my taste buds. I would give it another chance.

My friends invited me to an early birthday brunch, and the server made sure I got a free drink. They even sang Happy Birthday and had me wear a fun hat to make me feel extra special!

This is in the previous Mama Dao's location (I miss that place). We got there when it opened to beat the wait for a Sunday morning and we were first lol. It was cold and they had the ceiling fans on full blast and the back door open. It wasn't hot enough for all that at 8am. The food was mediocre. The Denver omelette my friend had was full of huge undercooked tomatoes and peppers. We ate it, so it wasn't bad but we thought it would be better. The waitress was friendly and nice. I'm not sure we'd be back.

Ask the Community - Mimosas Cafe

Is this restaurant open? Can we make reservations?

The restaurant is open. We went there a couple of months ago. I don't know about reservations, but you can get your name on the list for a table through Yelp! That would have saved us a half hour of waiting if we knew about it in advance.

    Do they have unlimited mimosas?

No bottomless mimosas here. Just very large ones that might be equivalent!

    Is this place dog friendly?

I doubt they have anything against dogs, however, the restaurant isn't that big and does not have outdoor seating, so, I would venture to say it's not a place I would bring my dog.

Are they open on Christmas Eve?

    Yes

    Are there any vegan options?

Yes we have a veggie skillet, veggie benedict and other options.

My husband's Chai was a bit too milky, reading other reviews it seems like we should have ordered it extra strong so we'd have a bit more spice. He finished it quickly and ended up asking me if I could look up a new spot that might have a better Chai. My flat white was good, and I sipped it slower before we ventured off to our second coffee shop of the morning. Definitely a cute little cafe, but it's worth asking extra questions about their items to make sure you're ordering right for your tastes. For lovers of spicy Chai, ask for extra spice here.

The restaurant itself is stunning inside, and the atmosphere was perfect. We had such an intimate and fun date night here. One of my favorite touches was that the chef personally came to our table to introduce several of the dishes, explaining where the ingredients were sourced and how each dish was prepared. We ordered an insane amount of food and were impressed by every single dish. The short rib rigatoni, filet, Brussels sprouts, and patatas bravas were all incredible. We also tried the risotto of the day -- a pea risotto with strawberry balsamic -- which was unique and absolutely delicious.

The chorizo & eggs weren't overly greasy & the tortillas were good. My partner ordered the steak sandwich. 4.5/5 Flavor was amazing. The steak was a little chewy. The sauce on the side complimented it very well but not necessary as the flavor of the steak was great by itself. I ordered a strawberry mimosa, as well. It was really lacking for me. Our waitress was amazing -- very sweet, attentive, and professional. She made sure we were taken care of and really added to the experience. Unfortunately, the food itself wasn't the best. I ordered waffles with a side of bacon and berries. The berries were fresh and the bacon was cooked perfectly, but the waffle came out extremely hard -- almost like a plate. My spouse ordered eggs, potatoes, and a side of bacon. He clearly explained how he wanted his order, but it came out with hash browns and bacon instead. Again, the bacon was actually very good, but the rest of the dish missed the mark. One thing I did appreciate is that they are very welcoming to furbabies and even offer a special menu for them, which is a nice touch for pet owners. Overall, the atmosphere and service were great, but the food quality and order accuracy could definitely use some improvement.
