She would have left the left side of my hair a full inch longer than the right side, if I hadn't told her several times to shorten it so they'd be even. She also showed me the back, and it looked as if she had cut the top layer with a bowl. It was weird looking. I asked her to blend it more. This is the result of my haircut after much correcting and asking for her to fix problems in the chair. I finally decided to leave before she left me with no hair! I showed the owner a picture of what I wanted the curls and the hairstyle to look like. I always thought it was our responsibility to tell the hairstylist instead of let them improvise. I waited almost an hour. I had to tell them the rollers were too hot. I had to tell them the timer went off. Unsurprisingly, my hair was fried. At the end, I was told to go with the wet hair so that the curls would stay. It doesn't look remotely like the picture I showed. I understand the hair in the picture was styled with a lot of products, but my curls looked like I did it myself. I am never going again. I need to remember that.

Now the second time is where it all went south. I told her beforehand that my hair has been bleached before and I went dark 5 months prior to this appointment. Knowing that, she proceeded to bleach my hair and assured me that she could do it. It just wouldn't be as light as it was originally. Before coming to the salon, I had long hair and by the end of it, 3/4 of my hair was burned off and different lengths. I didn't realize it at the time because she curled my hair and I assumed some hair fall out was normal. The next day I was livid and asked for a refund and she did indeed give it back. I had to go to another salon to get a haircut so my hair could at least be the same length. I didn't realize the extent of how bad it was until the hairstylist told me in order for my hair to be the same length, I would have to get a bob! Please see before photo attached for how long my hair was before if you want to get a picture of how much of my hair burned off and she still had me pay that day.. If you want bleached hair, do NOT go to her. She doesn't understand color and doesn't care about hair integrity. It took an extreme hit to my self confidence because my hair was two toned, choppy, and so damaged. If she cared about the integrity of my hair she should have did a test strand because I would never have let her put bleach on my hair if I knew it was going to break off. If you ask me, she should have her license taken away.
