I called out to him and told him I how I wanted it made and he did so but it was a nuisance. The sub was good again but I don't recommend anyone buy one at this place unless you're happy with the shop deciding exactly how they make your sub. If you want a choice however, virtually every other sub shop in the region will ask you first and give you a chance to tell them how to finish the sub.

If you've ever been to a Pressed Cafe (yes, just one), you may be forgiven to assume they're all…read moremostly alike. This review is to tell you otherwise. Some are much larger (like this one). Some are drive-thru only (like the one near my house). I'm gonna talk about the former real quick. Naturally, the menu is basically the same. On this day, I was having lunch. Ergo, I opted to try the Chipotle Short Rib & Egg burrito (as a bowl because I'm a man of culture) accompanied with a cup of chowdah. I must say...I expected there to be a bit more flavor, what - with the Chipotle sauce n' all. Alas, I had to add my own salt. This is mostly a nitpick, but really...can we please season our beef? Just a lil bit even? So, the biggest difference you'll notice at this location is the parking situation. It's....annoying. Because on the one hand, you technically have ample amounts of spaces to park in. Or...you WOULD, if not for the signs en masse that read "[insert corporate company name here] parking only - all violators will be towed at owner's expense." I find this hilarious because I feel like that would be impossible to enforce for folks parking less than 10 minutes to pick up an order like I did. So, I guess my pro tip of the day would be: feel free to park wherever at your own risk if and ONLY if you're getting take-away. If you're actually dining in, I suppose you'll have to wait painstakingly for one of the few parking spots actually designated for Pressed specifically to open. By the way, if you're picking up a take-away order, the take-out shelf is smack dab next to their side entrance opposite the side where you would normally order your food. It's one of those "blink once and you'll miss it" type things the first time visiting. From my vantage point, this place stays quite busy. Not surprising, considering the Burlington area in general. Clearly, a lot of folks come here mid-work day which is also the only reason I came here to begin with. Overall, not a bad lunch stop, though the parking can be slightly obnoxious. I was really happy to hear that a location was opened in Woburn as it's wicked close. This one is in a great spot with plenty of parking - while the street itself on can get busy/hectic, something has to be! This location also has a nice sized outdoor seating space with a mixture of tables both in sun and shade via umbrellas. The inside is open and spacious with lots of nooks and crannies. They have a menu dock when you first walk in, and they have added two kiosks for self-service ordering. If you prefer to order with a person, you can still do that too up at the counter, and then there is another menu dock up by the registers to dispose of the menu upon ordering. The placement of the self-serve kiosks is good because you can't miss it, however, with how crowded and busy Pressed Cafes can get it can easily get really crowded since it is by the door - and if you don't realize it's kiosks, I'm afraid people will stand around waiting not necessarily knowing they can go order at the counter. Now let's talk the menu. It's massive with so many options. They do breakfast and lunch items all day long. So many options like you could go to pressed every day for a long time and/or for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and still have a different item for days, weeks, and maybe a few months. Now, every location has the same core menu, but some locations have extra sections or items - most notably for this Woburn location, is the brick oven and pizza - which smells so delish! The food is always amazing, always fresh, and made to order. Plus the portion size is very generous!! I have never got something that was not good and I did not like! I find the service to also be excellent. They are very friendly and again with how busy it gets there, they do a phenomenal job at keeping things moving - from taking orders, to delivering your order, to getting pickup/online orders ready, to cleaning up tables, etc. - they are so efficient. Prices are moderate. Depending on what you get, it can get pricey but it's not terribly overpriced considering - it is an upscale cafe and well, you do get what you pay for. All in all, I rant and rave about Pressed Cafes. You want breakfast, Pressed. You want coffee shop, Pressed. You want lunch, Pressed. You want a cool, hip, vibing place, Pressed. You want quick and efficient service, Pressed. Not sure what you want but want fresh, Pressed. Just go to Pressed! I did a pick up order for Chai Tea Latte a while ago for my first time at this shop and then went back most recently for sit down meals twice in one weekend - lunch and then breakfast. I ordered the sunrise sunset. I did not opt to make changes, but they make it really easy in the app to customize your order. When I arrived my smoothie was already made and ready. They kept it in a cooler instead of on the counter which is thoughtful, since a smoothie is best cold and fresh. The employees were friendly. It was not very busy so it took no time at all to run in there and be helped. And it was very clean inside. The smoothie was great, nice and tropically - just as expected. And it is a very generous portion. When you have an account you get points and rewards which is cool - there was an offer when you sign up that you'll get a free smoothie after your first order..but it apparently is only good for a week. So I unfortunately didn't get to use it... but will def keep TSC in mind for next time I want a nice fresh smoothie!
