About double or more the price charged by most highly rated icecream places. The ambience is ok, but looks very commercial. If it weren't for the price I would give a 4 star rating.

First of all, the staff was so welcoming and friendly- which seems obvious but is actually hard to come by these days. I believe the owner is the person who helped as at the register, he was so wonderful and genuinely happy to be serving us. We ordered a mini classic suko açaí bowl- the açaí is homemade in house, which doesn't happen often. Probably the best açaí I've ever had. We also ordered a small order of cheese bread, warm, soft, cheesy perfection. I got the banana latte and my husband got a coconut black iced coffee. Both equally as delicious as everything else. The cafe was very clean and aesthetically pleasing which is always a plus. We will for sure be back. Thank you suko cafe.

They have a really interesting menu with a variety of drinks, dishes, pastries, ice cream, and plenty of ube-flavored items. For drinks, we tried the Mango Mansi and the house blend iced tea, and both were really refreshing. For our meals, we ordered the Tapsilog and Pork Silog. Both had great flavor, but unfortunately, the portion sizes were disappointing for the price. There was very little meat and the plates were mostly rice, which made the price point feel a bit high. The food itself was delicious, but the portions made it difficult to feel like the meal was worth the cost. For something sweet, we tried the ginger molasses cookie, which was good and a nice way to finish the meal. Service was nothing that stood out just standard. If you sit down they will bring it out to you which is nice. Overall, I'm glad to have a Filipino restaurant option in Saugus, and there are definitely some unique and interesting things on the menu that are worth trying. There's plenty of seating for both small and larger groups, although parking can be a little tricky since it's located right on Main Street. A good meal with lots of unique options, but with the portion sizes compared to the prices, I'm not sure we'd return.

I ordered online and didn't call to ask about it - not sure if this is normal. The zero sugar acai had a bit of an odd taste so I wouldn't do that again. Otherwise the flavor was good, and things tasted fresh, but I didn't feel like I got a good value. I added granola for $0.99 and there was maybe 2 tablespoons at best. The whole large bowl was on a pint sized plastic takeout container - I was expecting the large to be larger! There are no sizes on the ordering page so you don't know what to expect. I live close by and sometimes an açaí bowl just hits the spot so I might try again, but I wasn't super impressed. The order was prepped on time so no issues there.

I usually come for the smoothies and acai bowls which are phenomenal and made with fresh ingredients. I also love that you can pick your own toppings for the acai bowls and the amount of options they have to choose from. The only other food item I've tried is the avocado toast which was fresh and flavorful. I'd love to try more of their food but for now I'm still hooked on the smoothies and acai bowls. Not to mention, the customer service here is top tier. It's usually the same woman working who I'd assume is the owner and she's always super friendly with a smile on her face. The space itself is pretty small with not much room for seating, so it's definitely more of a takeout spot which isn't a bad thing, just something to note. Overall I am really happy to have a place like this in the area. It's one of the few spots that offers fresh, whole ingredients without all the unnecessary additives. Hope this place stays around for a very long time!

I finally tried Professor's Market again last week and found a different employee from last time…read morewho did the same thing as the previous one. They are clearly trained to take your order, then your payment, then go off to a little niche far away and make the sub exactly as they want to. If you want extra mayo, or no pickles, or any other adjustment, you are stuck. But, this time, after my last experience, I leaned over the counter and tried to keep my eyes on him and, sure enough, I spotted him start to put pickles and other veggies on it without asking me anything. I called out to him and told him I how I wanted it made and he did so but it was a nuisance. The sub was good again but I don't recommend anyone buy one at this place unless you're happy with the shop deciding exactly how they make your sub. If you want a choice however, virtually every other sub shop in the region will ask you first and give you a chance to tell them how to finish the sub.
