I stopped by Acailand for an acai bowl. Their touchscreen kiosk was not working properly, but it gave me ideas of topping choices I could add to my bowl. The acai bowls are priced from $13 (small 1-2 people) to $17 (medium) $19 (large 4 people) with up to 8 choices of toppings. I decided on a Small American Classic Acai Bowl ($13 plus tax) which has acai, strawberry, blueberry, granola, honey, and cashews and I customized with additions of mango, kiwi, and coconut flakes. My bowl was made to order quickly and packed up well, over the top with plenty of toppings over the rim of the plastic bowl. I drove down the road to a coffee place and enjoyed my very sweet acai bowl with some black coffee. They essentially made my acai bowl the way I liked it with plenty of fresh fruits, nuts, and honey. I couldn't finish this in one sitting and stuck it in the freezer to enjoy the next day. I would definitely stop by again if I happen to be driving by and need a sweet fruity dessert.

Or...you WOULD, if not for the signs en masse that read "[insert corporate company name here] parking only - all violators will be towed at owner's expense." I find this hilarious because I feel like that would be impossible to enforce for folks parking less than 10 minutes to pick up an order like I did. So, I guess my pro tip of the day would be: feel free to park wherever at your own risk if and ONLY if you're getting take-away. If you're actually dining in, I suppose you'll have to wait painstakingly for one of the few parking spots actually designated for Pressed specifically to open. By the way, if you're picking up a take-away order, the take-out shelf is smack dab next to their side entrance opposite the side where you would normally order your food. It's one of those "blink once and you'll miss it" type things the first time visiting. From my vantage point, this place stays quite busy. Not surprising, considering the Burlington area in general. And it is a very generous portion.
