Just recently moved around the corner Everbowl-Oceanside from San Francisco. I was very excited to try out this place as a replacement for Palmetto Superfoods or Basik in the Bay Area to meet my pregnancy cravings. The taste of the the bowl overall was quite lovely and the staff was friendly. However, the Blue Lagoon consistency of each layer (pitaya, coco love, and blue majic) was frozen like ice cream with very limited quantity of fruit. Please see photo for product served. Perhaps, this is a one off for quantity/quality of product served for price point? I'm hopeful my next visit to customize a bowl will be more promising. read more

The everbowl concept is cool and fun, and their modern designs aesthetic is welcoming. Unfortunately, at this location we didn't have the greatest experience the other day. We placed our order online and got charged for the bowls, but we noticed we didn't receive any confirmation from Everbowl. So my wife went inside to see if they were ready, their ipad/server was down, so we had to order inside (not the end of the world). However, the taste was lacking. It just didn't have a full flavor, the only thing that tasted good was the fruit honestly. My wife and I were disappointed, but my son devoured his so 1/3 isn't terrible I guess. Was craving an açaí bowl and found everbowl on yelp! It had great reviews and with all the unhealthy food I had been eating while on vacation I NEEDED this! My husband and I shared the Hawaiian açaí bowl and added almond butter to the top. It was SOOOO good. In fact, so good I want to go back tomorrow! You can also make your own açaí bowl for the same price as the menu bowls ($8). They also offered smoothies, salads, and a few other things. The space was pretty small inside, but very clean with nice decor. We took our bowl to go. Overall, great experience and would highly recommend giving it a try. Brand new place! No sugar, all natural. I got the Pitaya bowl, added agave, banana, granola, blueberry, kiwi, grapes and almond butter. Would be amazing to put in the freezer overnight and then let defrost the next morning in time for lunch. Owner super friendly and informative, as well as every employee I encountered. Hey Carlsbad! I came here for the first time today and it is a must! My brother and I stopped by here for breakfast, customer service was great. Both Kytia and Tiani were very nice, Kytia spent a lot of time explaining everything because it was our first time. You get the choice of 4 different bases and can chose from about 6 different liquids to blend in, lastly the toppings! There are many different options to chose from, and all the fruits were very fresh. I personally ordered the açaí, blended with coconut milk. My toppings included banana, strawberry, blueberries, pineapple, and kiwi. I also added chia seeds and bee pollen. Although the bowls are pretty pricey $8 a bowl, it is worth every dollar. The acai itself was too watery for my liking, had chunks of ice in it, and frankly was quite tasteless. They do give a generous portion of toppings, and for $9 (24 oz bowl) you can pick unlimited toppings which is great. There were four bases and a lot of toppings to choose from! As a whole, the acai bowl was sweet and refreshing. The ordering process was easy and the service was efficient. First time at this everbowl and their door has a sign stating all customers entering the store must be wearing a mask. The worker was not wearing a mask serving food and coughing and sniffling the whole time. When I asked her about wearing a mask she said she has one in the back and she would go and grab it. When it was my turn to order I asked her politely to go get her mask because I did not feel comfortable. She then stated she didn't have any and that the workers were not required to wear one. She did not care about anyone's health as she was sniffling and coughing all over their food. This is a disregard for others and should be addressed. Used to love this place when they made the açaí base and all their bases fresh and they weren't very sweet. Now they use a pre made sorbet that is so disgustingly sweet it makes their "no sugar added" claims a total scam because you can't make sorbet with some form of syrup. I placed an order (and paid) online. Received a call shortly after that they didn't have acai, blue majik, bananas, strawberries,blueberries (basically our whole order). I asked if I could just get a refund. They said I would have to talk to the manager....when she gets back in a few days (!!). I called back in a few days and the manager had "called out sick". No one could authorize a refund. I contacted the BBB, and everbowl online, no response. So many things wrong: why do they allow you to order things that aren't available, why do they take your money for things they can't provide, why can nobody offer a refund, and why would I have to go IN PERSON to receive a refund when they happily took my money online? The prices have gone up, the customer has gone down. I used to come here often with my family. Unfortunately I can't support a business with such poor ethics. read more

The most delicious bowl I have ever had. I am a die-hard acai and pitaya lover, so I have quite a few bowls to compare it to. Hands down the best açaí shop. You get to pick your base (acai, pitaya, etc.), add-ons (vitamin c, chia seeds, etc.), and toppings (fresh fruit, honey, etc.). The options are endless and you can choose how many toppings and add-ons you want- all for the same price of $9. Usually, acai places are stingy when it comes to toppings, but Everbowl loaded on as much as could fit. The portions are big and well worth the $9 cost. Never been more pleased with the unlimited topping/add-ons from the create-your-own-bowl and the friendly staff! I hope they open a shop in Arizona! read more

I'm so sad having to do this review but this is the only option I have left. I am a regular, I mobile order here all the time. Few instances I have had them be out of certain toppings which they will call to let me know ahead of time. Bummer because it happens every other order but I understand life happens. Lately, picked toppings just aren't on my order and I get it maybe they are too busy to call but let me know at pick up so I am not taken back about it. Wednesday was just another level though. I ordered three bowls for pick up. I customized the large one but I was missing 4 toppings (granola, blueberries, grapes, & agave) of my picked ingredients! I looked back at my receipt & everything was correct. The worse part is that the other two bowls I got had similar toppings so I know they had them. I called more then 6 times to see if I could go back & fix it & it went straight to voicemail. Unfortunately, I was unable to go back because I was on lunch & this is out of my way from home.
