Finally a female server came up to me and comment on how long I had been waiting (30 minutes at this point) and said she'd check on my order. I had noticed others after me getting their orders so I'm not sure what happened. She disappeared for another 10 minutes or so but returned with my order. I appreciate her. I get that they were busy but a heads up upon ordering would be nice. I didn't order anything difficult, just two hot dogs, one plain and one with a few condiments. My hot dog was really good. I love sauerkraut and theirs is good. My friend loves his hotdogs/sausages and enjoyed his. He wants to come back now! Their signature burger is the MDC which consists of a Double Certified Angus Beef, American Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, MOOYAH Sauce on a Signature Potato Bun. This burger was perfect, two good sized beef patties cooked to perfection, melted cheese and just enough sauce to not overtake all the goodness. The bun really stood out as MOOYAH uses a potato bun and it was really fresh and buttery. I think the bun is a difference maker in terms standing out from other burgers I have had in the past. With a combo you get a generous portion of fries which were decent as well as a refillable soda cup. This combo meal got me stuffed and the value was spot on. Definitely put MOOYAH on your hamburger destination list as you will not be disappointed with its vast menu of burger options. Fun fact about Mooyah is that they started in Texas and this Carlsbad location is the first in California as part of the westward expansion.
