A bit of a hidden gem in one of the medical buildings in White Rock. I've been spending quite a bit of time out in White Rock the last few months and have now probably been to every coffee shop in the area. Everbean is a wonderful hidden gem. Parking is a bit weird since there aren't any side streets or a designated lot, but I managed to find some residential parking towards the back to leave my car for 15 minutes. This isn't a standalone coffee shop, it's more so a large coffee stand within the medical building. The staff are extremely friendly and were probably some of the chattiest people I've talked with this year. Menu-wise, they have an assortment of coffees, teas, baked goods, and sandwiches. I decided to go for my usual - iced americano and a breakfast burrito. They have a few tables indoors and a cute patio set up and since it was a nice day, I sat outside. When my order was ready, they came and brought it outside for me and I got to enjoy my meal in the sunshine. The coffee was strong and and hit the spot, just the way I like it, and the breakfast burrito was tasty and filling. I've only been here once, but definitely would like to come back and try other baked goodies and treats. Thank you, Everbean!

Hot Chocolate Festival 2020 - Lucky Orange

We stopped by for the Hot Chocolate Festival. This is a cafe located in a medical building. We managed to find parking in the busy underground parking lot. The cafe is next to a pharmacy. There was plenty of seating available when we stopped by in the afternoon. There were two flavours to choose from and I picked the Lucky Orange. It was an orange flavoured hot chocolate which is a classic option. A orange dark chocolate dipped fortune cookie was served alongside. Pop rocks topped the fortune cookie which represented firecrackers for the Chinese New Year. I thought that was a great analogy. Service was friendly and efficient. The cafe ambiance is open and modern. However, it felt like I was in a lobby of the medical building as you see people walking to the pharmacy or going to the elevator.

Situated in a medical building in White Rock, Everbean Cafe is a hidden gem. I'm not a fan of going to the doctor and I see this cafe as a reward for taking care of myself. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They take the time to chat while managing to pump out coffee orders efficiently. They take care with the finishing touches on their beverages (which can often be seen splashed across Instagram by coffee lovers alike). They have a nice variety of sandwiches, pastries and baked goods. Everything is fresh and flavorful. While they do offer indoor seating, in the good weather, they also have a patio where you can enjoy your beverage outside taking in the fresh air. Not sure what to order? The staff are great at answering questions and making recommendations. Their seasonal menus always offer tempting delights and they have made it a safe, clean space to enjoy a latte even in these Covid-weary times.

The best coffee and sandwiches in White Rock! They use really good ingredients for their food items and coffee is 49th parallel :)) highly recommended to check out this place!

Awesome coffee shop tucked away near Peace Arch Hospital in the Hilltop clinic building. They serve parallel 49 coffee and offer tons of coffee variations (ie. pour over, espresso based drinks etc). They also serve Erin Ireland's to die for Vegan goods, which are AMAZING. There were lots of other baked goods that catered to different diets, and they do offer soups and sandwhiches which looked yummy. The only downside is I find it the prices pretty steep, it was close to $8 for a pour over and a cookie. However they are a local business which Id rather support over Starbucks!

They melt in your mouth and perfect texture. We got: MANGO BINGSOO -the best of the bunch. They used sweet Manila mangoes so they were sweet and delicious. Will be my go -to from this point on STRAWBERRY BINGSOO - it was okay. The strawberries were not as sweet so maybe it would be better during strawberry season (whenever that is)? OREO BINGSOO - pretty good. My nephew liked it a lot CHEESECAKE BINGSOO - skip it. You get 4 tiny slices of cheesecake to the side and some crumbs on top that were pretty good but just didn't pack as much flavor as the others we had.

Expected it to be a small place serving some desserts but this place is huge and had a very young vibe! We looked around and everyone was digging into a big tub spooning out it's "shaved ice" like contents into small bowls and enjoying it. That's what I want i decided. It was Bingsoo! So delicious!! It comes in fruit flavours among others and we opted for strawberry bingsoo but I saw everyone going for a mango one. The bingsoo came in a big tub like bucket which had ice cream in the middle , ice on top and it was covered with strawberries and topped with whipped creme . We enjoyed it and it was frankly a little too much for 3 of us. We also tried the Nutella filled pancakes which were flaky and light! Definitely worth trying. It was beautiful especially signage. I particularly loved the giraffe. The inside is not big, but it doesn't feel tight. They also have outdoor seating which was nice. Although it was busy, the accommodating service never lacked. So happy to see people enjoy what they do! I ordered the ube matcha with macadamia milk. I didn't even know macadamia nuts could turn into milk!! But it's become my favourite milk alternative. The drink itself was a perfect balance of all 3. I find that usually one over powers the other, but the ube, matcha, and milk all came through. I also ordered the mini cupcakes and they were just right. The cupcake flavours change daily which is great as you will never get tired of it (they post the flavours on their ig story). We also could not leave without the malasadas which was fluffy and creamy and not too sweet! Overall a great experience. Will definitely come back the next time I visit.

We were pleasantly surprised that they offer guests access to their full drink menu including their specials. Ube matcha was good, but had a hint of cinnamon which we could have gone without. The matcha mango was also good. The blackberry lavender matcha was too floral for our liking. However, eventually you get used to it and then it becomes more enjoyable. The pandesals were super fresh and we loved both the ube and strawberry butters that came with it. I wish that they came a bit warmer, so that the butters could have melted a touch. I thoroughly enjoyed all 3 sandwiches. I especially loved the arugula on the mozerella sandwich. The blackberry brie sandwich could have used a touch more brie, but was still delicious. The cheesecakes were good, but a bit too sweet. The strawberry was my favorite. I enjoyed tasting multiple flavors. Their red velvet cupcake was extremely moist. The pistachio malasada was cute and flavorful. The filling to pastry ratio was good. I think that the experience could have been better balanced if there were a few more savory items. One thing that we noticed was that all of the pastries including the malasada were cold. I can understand that there are some food safe requirements that need to be met in how desserts are stored. However, letting them sit out for even 20-30 minutes before consumption would have been better.
