I think overall they did a great job, the work speaks for itself. I hired them to clean all my windows, sliding doors and solar panels. I had 12 solar panels, about 40 windows , and 2 sets of sliding doors. One worker did all that 6 and 1/2 hours. I liked that he cleans the tracks of the sliding doors and the window screens as well. There were minor hiccups such as rescheduling due to the wind and having only one person come instead of two people the first time. It occurs to me that I promised Yelp I'd use them again, and I did, a few months ago. This time I not only had them wash the windows, but also replace all screens and clean my gutters. Their price was more than fair (frankly, about 30% lower than I was anticipating), they made quick work of the job, and when I had a couple of troublesome screen frames, they went well above and beyond the call of duty (without additional charge) to ensure I ended up with exactly what I came for, even though their business is more replacing screens themselves, not replacing frames. I contacted close to 20 solar cleaning companies and out of all of them, Ever Clean was the best price. Usually, going with the cheapest company doesn't go well. But in this case, it went fantastic and I couldn't be more happy with the work they did for the price. Here are the facts and I hope it will save hours of research time for others looking for this service: * I have 23 panels and a 2 story house. Price was $99 for the entire cleaning. AMAZING! * I have tile roofs and they were very careful not to break any tiles during the process. They even helped caulk the existing 10 tiles that were already broken/cracked for a very reasonable fee. * They contract out, so you may get a different company each time, but the one they sent was fantastic and cleaned my gutters for a reasonable price as well. I had a fantastic experience and will be calling them anytime I need more solar panel cleaning done. At this price, it's absolutely worth it for what you get. Any higher price and you have to ask yourself if the cost pays for itself in the long run. For me, the answer is no. As far as the debate over needing solar panels cleaned or not...well, I did it for the first time after having my panels for almost 3 years and never cleaned them. I did it because I felt my production had decreased, what seemed like, by 40%. I attributed this to the dust storm we recently had and the few years of not cleaning them. So I did. For $99, it was absolutely worth it to find out. Well, it actually made zero difference with respect to generation. So either my memory of previous years during the same timeframe is wrong, or my panels are just degrading faster than the vendor promised. But at least now I know that solar cleaning for me will be more of a maintenance thing and not really to improve electricity production, because it made no difference in that aspect. However, the small price paid was worth every penny to find out. I encourage everyone with solar to do it at least once and find out. And with this price, why not do it every year just to do it! For me, I am calling Ever Clean every year from now on. read more
