I bought a service package from Ever/Body when they had multiple locations and flexible scheduling. Since then, under new ownership (MAF Medical, P.C. / Advanced Medaesthetic Partners), they've reduced operations to just one location in Washington, DC--completely impractical for me as a Virginia resident. This change happened after my purchase and was never communicated to me. When I asked for a refund for the now-unusable services, I was told I could "transfer my credits," which was never part of the original agreement. That does not address the fact that the offering I paid for no longer exists. Even more frustrating: this isn't just happening to me. Many other customers have experienced the same issue--Ever/Body sold packages when they had multiple locations, then changed operations and refused refunds under the new ownership. This is an unethical pattern, not an isolated case. I've reported them to the Better Business Bureau, Virginia Attorney General, and consumer protection agencies, and I encourage others who have had similar experiences to do the same. read more

I recently was treated for what I thought was my 8th appointment for my laser hair removal. It was implied at my last appointment that I had "one session left". However, when I got to the check out - I owed $395 for the large area. This was extremely surprising because when I made my appointment - they told me I had another session. I'm not sure if they were referring to only one session for a different body part but all of that should have been communicated better. Who wouldn't say when scheduling "Hey, your package is now over - are you continuing service?" Unfortunately, I had to pay because I had gotten the service. Disappointing way to end my package and time at Everybody. Not to mention that the entire experience at this establishment has kinda been a disaster. I originally bought my package with the Clarendon,VA location. This was a 10 minute walk from my apartment. Then, weeks later they close that location and do not allow refunds! Which is crazy because someone knew that location was closing and still let me buy the package. So now, I had a 45 minute commute to continue going to. Then, the laser machine broke at the Logan Circle one and nobody told me so I showed up for my appointment! It was broken for multiple weeks affecting my treatment spacing. Additionally, I was rescheduled another time without being told but just got a text. The laser did give me good results but the hassle to get that was not worth it at this salon! I also feel like they tricked me into my 9th session and a refund or discount would be nice but nobody is responsive or willing to help from corporate. read more

I feel Scammed, Gaslit, and Deeply Disappointed: I rarely leave reviews, but after months of follow-up and reflection, I feel compelled to share my experience with Ever/Body to help others make informed decisions. I visited Ever/Body at Logan Circle for a consultation where I made it explicitly clear that my goal was facial contouring. Based on this conversation, I was recommended the TruSculpt treatment. It was expensive--over $1,000--but I trusted the staff's professional opinion and decided to move forward. Several months later, I returned for a clinical assessment. The clinician who reviewed my before-and-after photos (Dr. Fripp) told me that the treatment had shown no visible results--and more concerning, that TruSculpt was never likely to be effective for my goals based on my facial structure. That was never disclosed to me during the consultation. When I raised these concerns, I felt dismissed. I followed up multiple times over the course of weeks--months even--only to be ignored, placated, or redirected. Eventually, someone suggested I try dermal fillers instead, a far more invasive procedure that felt completely inappropriate given the context and outcome of the initial treatment. I was shocked that this was offered after everything. This experience left me feeling misled, emotionally drained, and completely unheard. It's not just about the money (though $1,000+ is significant); it's the trust I placed in a company that brands itself on listening and results. I didn't get either. If you're considering Ever/Body, I would urge you to be cautious. Ask very specific questions. Get every detail of the treatment's suitability for your goals in writing. Don't assume that the consultation will give you the full picture--mine certainly didn't. This was my personal experience. I wish it had been different. read more

First, the staff are wonderful. I always have a good experience when I go for a service. But their operations are a disappointment. First, I pre-paid for a series of laser hair removal sessions. They recommend that you do a series to maximize effectiveness, so I did. But after 2-3 sessions, their machine went down, and they could not offer the service. The machine was down for at least a few weeks (maybe 4-6 weeks, I'm not sure). These things happen - not the end of the world. Here is my issue - they were timely in notifying me that my appointments were cancelled because the machine was broken (2 days in advance of each cancelled appointment), but they didn't inform me when the machine was back online. I happened to be there for another service, and I asked them about it. Any benefit I got from the first two sessions was wiped out. If you are serious about retaining clients and business, I would think that you would reach out to those customers that you had to cancel and let them know when the service is available again. When I asked for some accommodation for the inconvenience, they said no. I wasn't looking for a free service - maybe a discount on a new service, something for the inconvenience of not being able to get the service that i paid (in advance) for. Second complaint: they do not answer the phone. You have to communicate via text message - which is really tedious when trying to book or reschedule an appointment. I don't understand this, as there is always someone at the front desk when I go in for an appointment. When they cancelled the appointment mentioned above, someone should have called me. Instead, I got a text and direction to reschedule the appointment online. Not a great customer experience. Third, their scheduling system. It used to be really easy to book appointments online. But they recently changed their system. None of their client information was carried over to the new system. So, its the client's problem to re-enter the information - again not the best customer experience. Also, the new scheduling system is awful compared to what it replaced. My biggest mistake was purchasing packages in advance. I probably would not go back except that I've already paid. So I'm stuck until I use what I purchased. read more

I had an IPL treatment on my chest area two days ago, and am covered in second degree burns. I just got back from the dermatologist and she was horrified. She said it "might be better by spring," if I'm lucky, and that it's possible it will cause longterm scarring. I am in terrible pain, have missed two days of work, and am incurring hundreds of dollars in medical bills and medication. The staff here is extremely kind and lovely... but nothing is worth this. I'd attach a picture, but it's so disgusting (blisters, burn marks) that I don't want to gross anyone out. Be careful. I don't want this to happen to anyone else. read more

This is a disreputable business. I have spent thousands of dollars here but if you are 6 minutes late for your appointment, you will not be seen, as you've missed their "grace period." They are clearly telling the customer their profit and their time are more important than your money and your time. TLDR: I'd love to renew my hydrafacial package because it's a great treatment and value, but the treatment tables/chairs make it too uncomfortable to sit through treatment. Treatment experience varies by aesthetician. The good: I've enjoyed the results of my hydrafacials. The space is clean and welcoming. The staff are friendly. It's a convenient location. The first aesthetician I saw was really friendly and talked me through the process, making me feel empowered and knowledgeable about what was happening. unfortunately, she left the company. The bad: The treatment chairs/tables are extremely uncomfortable when you're lying down to receive a facial. The tables lack padding and they don't adjust in the right places to provide lumbar support. Several staff have told me they experience discomfort with the tables and I've seen clients mention it in reviews. I felt like my second aesthetician would get impatient with me when I was trying to figure out how to make my experience less uncomfortable. I explained that I have a condition that causes joint and muscle pain and asked about ways to adjust the table. There were limited options. She remarked several times that I should just give away the rest of my package. Unfortunately, after my treatment I had major back spasms and nerve pain. Staff should be trained to review allergies with clients ahead of each visit. They should not apply any products to the lips until after they check the ingredients for allergens and confirm with the client that it is safe for them. If a client tells you that product got in their eyes, believe them and give them what they need to wipe their eyes instead of saying it didn't happen. Even if you were being careful and didn't mean for it to happen, the suction device splatters a bit and liquids can drip. A client knows what they're feeling (including stinging in their eyes). Overall, I strongly prefer an aesthetician like the first one I had who previews what she is about to do to make sure I'm ready--especially when they're touching areas of your face they touch only briefly during the treatment (e.g., putting on the headband, putting on goggles for red light). This can be especially helpful for clients with past history of trauma, injuries, etc to know what to expect. If my aesthetician had done this before applying the lip conditioner ("I'm going to apply lip conditioner. Are you ready?"), I would've stopped her to remind her of my allergy and ask if she checked product ingredients. Lip conditioner had never been part of a prior treatment. Instead, she put it on without asking, and didn't even have the ingredient list on hand when I reminded her about my allergy. So we rushed for me to take the product off my lips. Fortunately, downstairs we verified it was safe for me, but it could've ended differently for someone else. read more

I've had multiple treatments at this facility that have been great. That being said, I went online and found that I had a credit to use on a service. I showed up and they said the credit expired 3 weeks ago and it was a glitch on the website and they would NOT honor it. If I hadn't asked prior to my treatment I would have been on the hook for hundreds of dollars. If your company makes a mistake you should honor it. read more

As a soon to be bride, I was looking for a laser hair removal place. I'm self conscious and I wanted to dance in my dress without worrying what my underarms look like. After many years of tweezing, my underarms were a little darker. Waxing helped lighten the skin color but I was ready to make the jump to get laser hair removal. Luckily my friend Audrey works here and she did my laser hair removal for my underarms. Shes super nice and thorough with all her info. She told me the things to do before care and after care. I have had great results from my first treatment. It has been only 1.5 month from my first treatment and barely any hair grew. I didn't even shave at all. I went to my second session yesterday and it was a little more painful than the first tx bc of the higher setting. If Audrey M. is not available, Erica and Lois are super nice too. The all are totally your girlfriends and don't have to worry if you go in there with hairy armpits like I did. They didn't judge at all. I've had Lois for hyperhidrosis which is botox injections for the underarms sweating. It's amazing and I don't have to worry about sweating in that area. The place is clean, modern, and staff are friendly. I was 15 mins late and they still took me in. I would say parking is difficult so pick an early morning session. read more

I had a fantastic experience at Ever/Body's DC location. From the space (it was immaculate) to the staff (everyone was so lovely), it was a top tier experience. My appointment was within a month of their opening, I believe, and with any new place, there are often some kinks that need to be worked out. However, this wasn't the case with Ever/Body. I was taken care of immediately, my appointment was efficient, and I was treated like a queen! Because it was my first time, I hadn't requested a particular person for the treatment. I was then introduced to Lois who would be administering the Botox and she was incred. She was kind, knowledgable, and made the whole process quick and painless. Honestly, we gabbed like gal pals from the start and I will be requesting her for every subsequent appointment. It feels weird to say, but I'm already looking forward to my next Botox treatment. read more

Love the Logan Circle location's bright, airy esthetic (think: elevated spa vibe) and the team is very down to earth and welcoming. They are all very knowledgeable about all of the products they sell, which is both helpful and reassuring because it doesn't feel like you're being pushed to buy a specific brand. My Morpheus8 (RF Microneedling) treatment went smoothly, notwithstanding the fact that I generally have a hard time trusting people with needles or other sharp objects near my face! Hannah's bedside manner was the perfect pitch: she's a professional, no nonsense, friendly advisor/provider. As for the treatment itself, it's not comfortable but it's fairly quick. The longest part was the time it took for the absorption of the topical numbing cream (they also offer "laughing gas" and a stress ball to manage any discomfort). After the treatment, I had some redness that lasted about a day and a couple of small bruises under my eyes that took about a week to fully fade, but otherwise minimal downtime. I'm looking forward to seeing the final results in a few weeks, but I can already see some improvements. I will definitely be a repeat customer! read more

I highly recommend April for Botox treatments. She knows everything about the fine musculature of the face, and how to avoid things that I've encountered with providers elsewhere, like flattening of eyebrows. She listens to what you say about your objectives, and explains what she's doing along the way. The EverBody setting is spa-like and comfortable, and staff are helpful and friendly. read more
