I did laser/electrolysis treatment in various areas, and recently restarted my electrolysis under my chin thanks to extra hair growth caused by pregnancy hormones! When not doing laser/electrolysis, I'm here getting facials or my eyebrows threaded. I refuse to go anywhere else! Sheila is the owner and she's fabulous. She is kind, generous, humble, giving, and considerate. She treats her clients like they are her family - offers beverages, snacks, and sometimes even a full meal! Of course, some of the offerings have changed due to COVID restrictions, but she's nonetheless still just as generous! She's very flexible and always accommodating. While the business charges for last minute cancellations, Sheila goes above and beyond to accommodate to client schedules as she understands sh** happens. Most business don't care. In terms of service, Sheila takes her time to assess honestly. She thoroughly analyzes the area being treated, looking at skin texture, tone, and hair growth/color. Based on this and other key features, she suggests treatment and is always honest about her recommendations. She'll even throw in free services to ensure customer satisfaction. In my experience, some laser places will use low heat to make treatment longer, keeping customers coming forever. I'm so grateful Sheila doesn't do this! I've been coming to Georgetown Rejuvenation for over a year now. At first I started coming here only for laser hair removal sessions but now I get my eyebrows tinted and threaded, my facials and my (unofficial) therapy sessions here. I'm loving the results of my laser hair removal. I can go months without shaving. And when I do shave it's for random strains that grow. I'm still getting touch up treatments to take care of this. Neda has been the absolute best and I can't say that enough. Laser Hair removal can be uncomfortable but with a tech like Neda, you'll get through it with a few laughs in between. Miriam (not sure if I spelled it right) has given me the best facials I've ever had in my life. My face has never been this clear and smooth. I've had a bad experience with laser before because of which I waited several years before giving it a try again - this place is wonderful. I had both laser and electrolysis here and after one year of regular treatment, I saw excellent results. Now I only go back for touch-up treatments, maybe once in 8 months or so. Sheila is a wonderful person - she was very clear with me with what to expect from the treatment, and how long it would take to see results. Once I got used to the sensations (electrolysis was definitely painful in the beginning ) - I increased the sittings from 15 mins to a half hour. When I came to her, I needed a lot of work - hormonal changes in my body had meant I needed work on my chin, in particular. Although I only paid for electrolysis, Shiela did a combination of both laser and electrolysis on my face, which meant I saw results faster. Initially I thought I would only get treatment on my chin and upper lip but since I was so happy with the results I bought groupons for additional treatments, including electrolysis for my eyebrows. Because of Shiela and Georgetown Rejuvenation, I save so much time and money not having to go to threading every other week. And never having to plan in advance to go swimming. In fact, I started swimming regularly for exercise. I'd love for my daughter to go to Sheila when she is older. read more

I've been seeing Sheila for about 6 months doing laser hair removal on my armpits and electrolysis on my eyebrows. My eyebrows were so thick I would have to tweeze, no exaggeration, daily to avoid a unibrow. She has been extremely helpful in explaining the process and calming my nerves about my first couple sessions. I just finished the laser for my armpits and it is a game changer! I'll still have a few hairs here and there but no 5 o clock shadow and I can finally wear tank tops like the girls in the deodorant commercials. Parking: There are about 7 street parking spots directly in front of the salon but there is also a lot with 10+ more spots available(free). The lot is not clearly marked as to who will be towed and by which "owner" but I asked the front desk and they said I was good to go! Location:This spa has been in the area for 17+ years! It started in Georgetown then moved to Arlington for more square footage. The spa itself is a blink and you miss it storefront! It's in between two other unrelated businesses and the spa occupies a good portion of the second floor. Once you walk up a tiny long stairwell you're welcomed by a sign that says "Come in" and immediately put at ease when you enter the foyer. Ambiance: Serving dishes are full of mints and fruit infused water, self serve style surrounded by plush seating arrangements are what you see immediately. It's a beautifully decorated space. I did not use the restroom yet but I spotted one available. If you continue to round the corner you're greeted by a man, 2 women, and Sheila. Also FOOD! In a kitchenette there was a spread of fresh fruit and pastries, it was an extremely hospitable environment. They offered me something to eat after double checking my name and taking my Groupon bar code. (Excellent deal for 5 sessions). Laser Treatment: I waited for about 10 min start to finish for Sheila to finish up with another client, during that time i completed the consent and medical history form, which included asking for your ethnicity. I found that last bit interesting but possibly pertinent for treating skin. I was escorted back to the laser treatment room. There's a sitting chair, a massage chair, two machines, and two beds. Sheila introduced herself and her machine. They use the DLT( I think I remembered that correctly) there is one machine for all skin types and it goes up to 40 J! I explained that I am in the "forever touch up" phase of laser hair removal. I have been treated for over two years by Laser Elite Center in McLean for the same two areas. But I had to come in once every few weeks to have a small amount of lasering done to maintain appearances. Sheila seemed surprise but hopeful that she and her team could finally kill my remaining hair! Pain: The laser hurt on my scale a 5 out of 10. Completely tolerable as long as I think of the results! Sheila explained what she was doing as she did it, which was crucial and asked me to return in 6 weeks! Sheila also offered $150 off of the online special for another treatment area. That seems pretty steep for just 5 sessions but because of everyone's pleasing personality here I will return! Bring cash for a tip! read more

Not 100% sold. Making a review update. Though I was happy with my last visit here, I did have some concerns that my eyebrows may have been trimmed a little too aggressively - especially along the outer edges. However, given I'm still fairly new to the eyebrow shaping thing (just started it in 2008 - for some that may not be "new," but I've been enhancing my hair with color for 18+ years and waxing my legs/etc. for 14+ years, so it's all relative), and given I've only had Erika in SF at Dermal Essentials shape (wax/trim) them until moving back to DC last fall, I haven't had much experience finding someone to shape my eyebrows. Again, though I love Sheila and the ladies here, I'm now having to grow out my eyebrows, since they're a bit blunt at the moment, and not so elegant. read more
