I am so happy I found this jewel! I called on a whim to ask about packages and wanted to find an affordable, yet chic place to get my laser hair removal done. I was able to find a package that gave me everything I wanted and the appointment was the same day! The exciting news was there was a sale for almost 70% off small areas and 30% off larger areas. If you want an chic place to get your spa needs taken care of, look not further! read more

DONT BELIEVE ANYTHING! Very disappointing experience with LaserAway Corporte people. I was told that I could make my payments with my debit card. I trusted Marrisa and provided my information. I later discovered that a credit account had been opened and my credit was affected. I specifically asked Marissa twice if providing my SSN would affect my credit, and she told me no. When I questioned her, she told me Corporate was aware. I asked to speak with someone else because I no longer felt comfortable dealing with her, and she told me, " she works for Corporate" and would be the person I needed to communicate with. but she continued focusing on having me proceed with the treatment instead of addressing my concerns. I feel completely misled. Please be very careful and make sure you understand exactly what you are authorizing before providing your SSN read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I rarely submit reviews but this felt very important to warn people about, given you are trusting them with your body for procedures. I just booked the free consultation and (aside from no one ever calling me despite reminder emails, text messages and calls), when I finally reached someone, the agent sounded like a super pushy used car salesman. It felt like such a scamy company where the so-called "promotions" were being shoved down my throat. I told the agent not to send me a text of the advertisements and she did it anyway and then would not stop talking about the so called "deals", without answering any of my real questions. She was super defensive (without being prompted) and interrupted me with comments as though I was stupid (depsite being very experienced on the topic). Then ironically, she got bored of her own shpeal or realized I wasn't going to bite on the scam, and hung up on me super abruptly. It was a shocking and highly distrubing exchange. If this is any indication of how they treat actual customers while they point lasers to your body, DO NOT GO!! It's not worth it. There are plenty of other much better services and companies more reputable that don't feel so sleazy. This company needs to go back to the basics of customer services and basic human respect. If those on the front lines interfacing with clients can't respectfully answer basic questions about services, they should not be in the rolea dn 100% not be doing procedures on your body. Period! Don't trust them and save your money!!! read more

The past 3 times I've been this year the bathroom has been very dirty. They also had no proper hand soap. The soap they had this time was just water inside! My last appointment I had to pay an extra hour for parking because the clinician wasn't informed about me being in the room even though they had called me back to wait for her. I've been going here for YEARS. I was also told I would be reached out to about that situation and no one has contacted me and they refused to even respond to my message when I asked about a refund for parking. read more

Very nice and professional people. First time I called, the front desk lady was so kind and she explained the process for me through out and was patient with me. Layla, the manager, was kind and very professional throughout the process. She was able to help me solve a problem I had with grace and patience. Absolutely grateful to have the opportunity to talk to her. Also when I visited the place, it was clean and neat, and the interior was beautiful. read more

The facility is really nice, clean, and inviting. The front desk person is attentive and offers water or tea/coffee while you wait for your procedure. I've gotten some laser treatments done so far and the laser is definitely painless. I think the results seem decent so far. The various technicians/nurses are all super professional and knowledgeable. You get aloe vera and/or sunscreen after your procedure. The one thing I'd ding the place on is sometimes you've gotta be prepared for them to upsell you, but they do seem to run promos often to make the treatments somewhat more affordable. Also, it would be helpful if prices were advertised online for transparency. They're pretty flexible with appointments and scheduling which is nice. read more

Lip Filler has not gone away after 2 years. I was assured the filler would only last up to 18 months, and that my lips would go back to normal. Bc of this, I thought there would be no risk in getting the procedure. However My lips show no signs of ever going back to normal. My understanding is that this can happen if the filler is placed to deep. I do not wish to have the filler resolved bc that could cause even more issues. I just want my original lips back! To those considering this, please just accept yourself the way you are bc you might get something irreversable and come to regret it! Also when you download the app on your phone, there is almost no information about what you signed up for. You would think I could log in and look at pricing details and see what kind of filler I received, etc. However this information is not there when I log in. Two stars instead of one bc the people at the front desk and doing the procedures were friendly. read more

After 8 sessions I still have lots of hair and they're asking for more money to finish the job after thousands already spent. I went in today and was 8 minutes late due to parking and stood waiting for someone to check me. When someone finally checked me in they said they had someone coming in 10 minutes and couldn't treat me. Then I needed to reschedule due to them not treating me and just stood around while others were chatting trying to sell things. Total waste of time and I wish the customer service was better, especially for how much money you spend. Feeling disappointed and just plain bummed out. Hoping my last treatments for my legs are at least worth something. You will not be hairless after 8 treatments, not even close! Buyer beware. read more

I purchased an 8-session laser hair removal package from LaserAway Arlington, which was presented as including numbing cream. After multiple sessions of inconsistent service and poor preparation, staff began demanding $35 per session for the cream--despite it being included in the original agreement. I submitted two formal complaints to management with no response. This is a clear case of misrepresentation and poor customer service. I am requesting a written resolution and will pursue further action if needed. read more

Danielle leaves one with a bad taste in their mouth. Very predatory behind fake smiles and "happy to" answer questions. There's a difference between places that actually welcome questions and curiosity and places that are there to take your large sum of money. She did a fine job in helping me realize which place LaserAway is. Whether a customer has questions about the procedure or the finances, they're valid. Customers and patients require your time and patience. I felt awful I asked for more of her time. Saved myself a lot of time and money tho! I think a really good example of something that wasn't clear on the website was how the dollars off credit that you earn after earning points is only applicable towards a $500 purchase. I guess with LaserAway, I shouldn't ask more questions about the details of the incentive program. I should just refer to the website and pay 3K hoping it all works out. read more

Updating my review as I've been a client longer now. This location is so difficult quite frankly. I don't know if it's because they're busy? Or don't have eno staff? But you never know what you're going into. Last review, I waited over an hour. Then there's been times I've been in and out in 20 min. But lately, it's been so difficult to even get an appointment and have it stick. I've spent nearly $5k on services with them yet I haven't even received all of it and can't stick to the timeline I need to be on for the treatments because of it. Three times now I've tried to schedule an appointment and they couldn't make it work, always trying to send me elsewhere at my inconvenience and now I've had this appointment booked and they call me an hour before to tell me the nurse is already walking out and they can't accommodate me?! Absolutely ridiculous. Why am I chasing you down for two months now to get an appointment?! I keep getting ads for other beauty spas offering deals so if you haven't committed to here, maybe consider elsewhere first!! read more

Chose LaserAway for my laser removal and I'm very happy with the decision. Staff is courteous and knows what they're doing. From the moment I was called for the consultation I already knew I'd go with them. had 2 sessions and I'm already seeing results (from the first session even!) and I'm super pleased. Building is clean, well kept, brightly lit Staff and NP explains thoroughly what will happen and answers all questions, are thorough with the actual laser, and will ice pack you if it gets too "spicy" while youre getting lasered. The lasering is super quick also, almost in and out in 15 minutes. Highly recommend! read more

Had an amazing experience at LaserAway. This was my first time getting laser hair removal and, as I imagine a lot of newbies might be, I was nervous! The instant I walked in I was out at ease by the staff. They are incredibly friendly and welcoming. I checked in and was taken to the treatment area almost immediately. The NP asked for any changes in my medical history and made sure I followed the before care instructions. Then she walked me through what the procedure would look like before beginning. It was comforting to know that my health was in good hands and to be able to picture the procedure before starting. The actual lasering took 5 or so minutes, I was given the aftercare instructions, and then I was basically on my way back home. Efficient, thorough, and relatively painless. I am excited to continue my sessions and would highly recommend LaserAway in Arlington! I am already thinking about what other areas I will treat next! read more

My very first experience with laser hair removal... and my first session was SO NICE! I was nervous because I've heard of bad experiences, but it was so fast and not nearly as painful as I had imagined. There were some "spicy" areas but with some breaks and cooling air, it went by in a flash! Had my 2nd visit and the power was upped and it was definitely a bit more "spicy". It was also near my time of the month so that was probably why it was more sensitive. Hopefully I'll see results soon! read more

I have visited both Tyson's Boro and Arlington locations. I've noticed some LaserAway nurses lack consistency from location to location with their laser hair removal practices and procedures. I have such mixed feelings about LaserAway. I have used this location for both laser hair removal and botox. Pros: - Beautiful office that is clean and inviting (hello, millennial pink!) - Everyone is very nice - I rarely ever waited and each treatment is super quick - Laser hair removal is completely painless - I've liked the botox services (I've done both the brand and generic). Cons: - The woman at the front desk are there to sell, sell, sell to you and every time you go they will hit you up asking about your next treatment, what else you want to laser, etc. It's reminiscent of when I used to get my eyebrows waxed at the nail salon and the woman would always ask, lip too? - I don't think the laser hair removal actually worked. I did my armpits and the bikini line. And I truly do not get the point of the bikini line -- it's literally your upper thigh. I wished someone had explained it to me better because I would have done the brazilian. My goal was to wear a regular bathing suit with no hair peaking out and my goal was NOT achieved. My armpits do have less hair but it's not completely gone. I have dark hair and fair skin so I thought I would have good results but am disappointed. And it was NOT cheap. - All information is shared very quickly. And I wished I had stopped to ask more questions so the laser hair removal would have actually been worth it. - It can be hard to get appointments, especially on weekends. read more

Worst customer service ever!! They don't even know their own operating hours. They scheduled me for 6:30pm for full body laser and sent me a text confirmation. when I arrived there, they said my appointment was at 6:15 and that there is no enough time to do legs because it is too late and they are closing at 7. I showed them the confirmation text message and they didn't know what to say. But refused to do whole body anyway. I even had an appointment with one of the technicians that did not even know how to operate the machine properly. It is one of those businesses that have no solid management and the staff do whatever they want. If I had not signed a contract, I wouldn't use this business. Worst customer service, and there is nobody to complain to. AVOID this business. read more

I've been going to Laser Away for about a year throughout Northern VA, and started coming to the Arlington location exclusively this past February. While I am regularly pleased with the skill and care of the clinical team, I've regularly dealt with scheduling changes and mistakes that make the overall experience fairly poor. In my most recent case, I booked a follow-on appt for Botox and filler upon leaving my initial appointment...about a week later I was called late in the afternoon and told I needed to change my appointment to accommodate the nurse's lunch break...we changed the appointment and then yesterday (the day prior to my appointment), I was called to re-schedule again which I did, and then when I arrived it turns out only my Botox, and not my lip filler was rescheduled. Laser Away is happy to take lots of my money, but doesn't seem to recognize there are lots of other aesthetic options in the DC area...not happy overall with my experience. read more

Sales staff and providers don't communicate, at any location for that matter, and it leads to a lot of wasted time and money for all patients. I'm leaving the remainder of my treatments on the table and won't be returning...there's no way to trust any location of this place when no one communicates and the staff rotation makes it near certain you won't see the same person twice. read more

My experience with Lasweraway Arlington has been absolutely deplorable for Cool Sculpt. I had my second cool sculpt appointment today and the nurse insisted that I remove all my clothes and wear a flimsy pair of shorts and a paper bra. I had not been asked to do this previously. When I said I would roll up my clothese to give them the same area coverage for photos she raised her voice and slammed the door shut on more than one occassion. When I asked for the head person in charge a lady called Carey came. I told her that I had felt insulted and the attitude had racist undetones. Carey told me that she would not 'accept' langguage like that in the clinic. I was surprised by her response because I had not said anything offensive. I had felt racially discriminated and said that. She said that I was not welcome in their clinic if I spoke like "that". She also said that I should stop the treatments I had already paid for and was not even sure that I would get a refund. Long and short, instead of being understanding and apologetic that someone felt mistreated in the facility she trained her guns on me and effectively told me to get out. read more

I will not be going anywhere else for laser hair removal! My first session was Brazilian & underarms and then i decided to also add legs for my next sessions. I walked out of my first session SO happy because it hurt soo much LESS than I thought it would! Overall like a 3/10. So much less pain than getting waxed every month. After the one session, I have actually started seeing a little results like they said I would! From the first phone consultation to everyone in the office, it has been such a nice experience. Everyone is so nice and helpful. I would recommend LaserAway to anyone who wants to invest in their body!! read more

Their communication amongst one another and their online platform seemed very disorganized. Too many people in the process very impersonal and a manufactured feel as opposed to a boutique make an appointment with someone experience and go. Also feels like a giant franchisee with someone at the top making oodles of money because their prices are far from competitive. I hope I'm wrong but that was my first impression anyway. read more

10 laser treatments later and very disappointed in the results. Still needing to shave in the treated underarm, bikini/brazilian area, face no permanent removal and hair regrowth continuous. The only area where the treatment was most effective was lower legs. The service the front end staff specifically Becca in Ashburn location and lack of follow up overall has been incredibly frustrating. I was really hoping for a better result after thousands of dollars spent. Ultimately, my experience with Laseraway has been a negative one and I no longer can positively review this business or recommend them. They are an excellent marketing and sales company but not so much in the customer satisfaction and final results. While I certainly understand it is not 100% hair removal it shouldn't require me to shave and wax again in full areas. read more

I purchased a package of 6 IPL treatments and went in for my first one. I have never had a laser treatment for my face. Pretty new to the experience and this Laser Away however not new to other aesthetic treatments, medspas, and clinics. This is by far the worst experience I have had for a treatment. I was rushed every step of the way. I had some questions regarding post treatment about reactions and care. There was no post treatment care instruction provided to me. When my treatment was completed the technician told me to keep the cold face mask on my face for 5 minutes, I had no way of telling the time and asked if someone would come in to get me. She replied very flippantly that she would love to do that however she had other clients to treat and I should estimate the 5 minutes. As I was sitting in the chair estimating the 5 minutes, another technician knocked on the door to see if I was in there. It had not been 5 minutes, but she needed the room for another treatment. She told me to take my time so I waited until about 5 minutes then got up to apply sunblock on my face. As I am trying to do that there is no mirror so I'm using my phone, the other tech returns to make sure I'm leaving. And I mention there is no mirror. She seems annoyed and pulls one out. All in all a pretty weird and not great experience. Maybe they wanted to get people in and out because it was a Friday afternoon after 5, however after paying almost $3,000 for a treatment package I would have appreciated a little less rushing and way better communication. At the very least some post treatment care instructions, which I also did not receive and I have found pretty standard for other treatments. read more

LaserAway's customer service is AWFUL. I made the initial payment, but before signing any binding documentation or having my first appointment I backed asked for a refund due to moving to an area that did not have a LaserAway anywhere nearby. I did not want to drive 3 hours to the nearest one for the next several months. They stated they would refund me, but it has been several weeks with no refund and no answers when I call to inquire about it. They just put me in a queue every time I call stating "someone will call you back in 48-72 hours" and no one ever does.
