Lip Filler has not gone away after 2 years. I was assured the filler would only last up to 18 months, and that my lips would go back to normal. Bc of this, I thought there would be no risk in getting the procedure. However My lips show no signs of ever going back to normal. My understanding is that this can happen if the filler is placed to deep. I do not wish to have the filler resolved bc that could cause even more issues. I just want my original lips back! Worst customer service ever!! They don't even know their own operating hours. They scheduled me for 6:30pm for full body laser and sent me a text confirmation. when I arrived there, they said my appointment was at 6:15 and that there is no enough time to do legs because it is too late and they are closing at 7. I showed them the confirmation text message and they didn't know what to say. But refused to do whole body anyway. I even had an appointment with one of the technicians that did not even know how to operate the machine properly. I've been going to Laser Away for about a year throughout Northern VA, and started coming to the Arlington location exclusively this past February. While I am regularly pleased with the skill and care of the clinical team, I've regularly dealt with scheduling changes and mistakes that make the overall experience fairly poor. In my most recent case, I booked a follow-on appt for Botox and filler upon leaving my initial appointment...about a week later I was called late in the afternoon and told I needed to change my appointment to accommodate the nurse's lunch break...we changed the appointment and then yesterday (the day prior to my appointment), I was called to re-schedule again which I did, and then when I arrived it turns out only my Botox, and not my lip filler was rescheduled. Laser Away is happy to take lots of my money, but doesn't seem to recognize there are lots of other aesthetic options in the DC area...not happy overall with my experience. read more

I was nervous because I've heard of bad experiences, but it was so fast and not nearly as painful as I had imagined. There were some "spicy" areas but with some breaks and cooling air, it went by in a flash! Had my 2nd visit and the power was upped and it was definitely a bit more "spicy". From the moment I was called for the consultation I already knew I'd go with them. had 2 sessions and I'm already seeing results (from the first session even!) and I'm super pleased. Building is clean, well kept, brightly lit Staff and NP explains thoroughly what will happen and answers all questions, are thorough with the actual laser, and will ice pack you if it gets too "spicy" while youre getting lasered. Had an amazing experience at LaserAway. This was my first time getting laser hair removal and, as I imagine a lot of newbies might be, I was nervous! The instant I walked in I was out at ease by the staff. They are incredibly friendly and welcoming. I checked in and was taken to the treatment area almost immediately. The NP asked for any changes in my medical history and made sure I followed the before care instructions. Then she walked me through what the procedure would look like before beginning. It was comforting to know that my health was in good hands and to be able to picture the procedure before starting. The actual lasering took 5 or so minutes, I was given the aftercare instructions, and then I was basically on my way back home. Efficient, thorough, and relatively painless. I have such mixed feelings about LaserAway. I have used this location for both laser hair removal and botox. Pros: - Beautiful office that is clean and inviting (hello, millennial pink!) - Everyone is very nice - I rarely ever waited and each treatment is super quick - Laser hair removal is completely painless - I've liked the botox services (I've done both the brand and generic). Cons: - The woman at the front desk are there to sell, sell, sell to you and every time you go they will hit you up asking about your next treatment, what else you want to laser, etc. It's reminiscent of when I used to get my eyebrows waxed at the nail salon and the woman would always ask, lip too? - I don't think the laser hair removal actually worked. I did my armpits and the bikini line. And I truly do not get the point of the bikini line -- it's literally your upper thigh. I wished someone had explained it to me better because I would have done the brazilian. My goal was to wear a regular bathing suit with no hair peaking out and my goal was NOT achieved. My armpits do have less hair but it's not completely gone. I have dark hair and fair skin so I thought I would have good results but am disappointed. And it was NOT cheap. - All information is shared very quickly. And I wished I had stopped to ask more questions so the laser hair removal would have actually been worth it. - It can be hard to get appointments, especially on weekends. read more

My experience with Lasweraway Arlington has been absolutely deplorable for Cool Sculpt. I had my second cool sculpt appointment today and the nurse insisted that I remove all my clothes and wear a flimsy pair of shorts and a paper bra. I had not been asked to do this previously. When I said I would roll up my clothese to give them the same area coverage for photos she raised her voice and slammed the door shut on more than one occassion. When I asked for the head person in charge a lady called Carey came. I told her that I had felt insulted and the attitude had racist undetones. Carey told me that she would not 'accept' langguage like that in the clinic. I was surprised by her response because I had not said anything offensive. I had felt racially discriminated and said that. She said that I was not welcome in their clinic if I spoke like "that". She also said that I should stop the treatments I had already paid for and was not even sure that I would get a refund. I purchased a package of 6 IPL treatments and went in for my first one. I have never had a laser treatment for my face. Pretty new to the experience and this Laser Away however not new to other aesthetic treatments, medspas, and clinics. This is by far the worst experience I have had for a treatment. I was rushed every step of the way. I had some questions regarding post treatment about reactions and care. There was no post treatment care instruction provided to me. When my treatment was completed the technician told me to keep the cold face mask on my face for 5 minutes, I had no way of telling the time and asked if someone would come in to get me. She replied very flippantly that she would love to do that however she had other clients to treat and I should estimate the 5 minutes. As I was sitting in the chair estimating the 5 minutes, another technician knocked on the door to see if I was in there. It had not been 5 minutes, but she needed the room for another treatment. She told me to take my time so I waited until about 5 minutes then got up to apply sunblock on my face. As I am trying to do that there is no mirror so I'm using my phone, the other tech returns to make sure I'm leaving. And I mention there is no mirror. She seems annoyed and pulls one out. All in all a pretty weird and not great experience. Maybe they wanted to get people in and out because it was a Friday afternoon after 5, however after paying almost $3,000 for a treatment package I would have appreciated a little less rushing and way better communication.
