I had been out of town for several years and when I called for an appointment, I was told I would be considered a new patient and that I would have to wait about 6 months for an appointment. When I explained that I had a very concerning mole, the person on the fone repeated I would be treated as a new patient and that I would get an appointment in 6 months. When I said, okay, what would the receptionist recommend I do, she repeated I would be treated as a new patient and would be seen in six months. I then asked if Dr Aria had a standby physician whom I could see. The receptionist then again stated I would be a treated as a new patient and I could be seen in six months. I might as well have just gotten voice mail on a loop. When I said to her that she was merely repeating the same thing over and over again, she hung up. I called again, got a man and made an appointment six months in advance. But, then I found out they simply cancelled my appointment. Is Dr. Aria running a medical practice? By the way, in the past, when I went for my appointment, the office staff had me answer verbally on the phone all the medical questions they had (some of which were confidential) while sitting in the parking lot for anyone to overhear. There does not seem to be a care in the world about HIPPA. Good luck with this physician and her office staff. The Doctor came highly recommended on NextDoor. But, I don't think I would write a good review given my experiences with this doctor and, in particular, her office staff. What an abomination!

While there was improvement in the overall shape of my arm compared to before surgery, the outcome still feels unfinished. The biggest issue is the scarring. At a year out, it's still very visible dark in color and somewhat raised in areas. I expected more fading and blending by now. The surrounding skin also has uneven pigmentation and texture that hasn't fully resolved, which makes the area stand out more than I'd like. From a contour standpoint, there's improvement, but not the tight, clean look I was hoping for. There's still some softness and lack of definition in parts of the arm that I thought would be addressed with the procedure. To be fair, this isn't a disastrous result, but it's also not a "wow" outcome. It feels like I got about 50% of the result I expected, and the remaining 50% mainly scar appearance and skin quality was never fully addressed or managed. If you're considering this procedure, I'd strongly recommend having a very detailed conversation about scar management, realistic outcomes, and what follow-up treatments might be needed to get a more polished result. I think I would have benefited from more guidance and a clearer plan for the healing phase beyond the initial surgery. Overall: noticeable improvement, but not as refined or complete as expected a year later.

I feel beautiful, confident, and at ease, and I no longer feel the need to hide or fix my face or neck in photos. Dr. Costeloe gave me back my sense of self, and I am deeply grateful to her. Jillian is a one woman operation.  No fancy salon. She has one room in a nail salon in Springfield,…read moreso no spa type setting. That means she can keep her costs down. Personally I don't need a gilded office, I just need an experienced tech who knows her stuff. That's Jillian. She has over 20 years in the business. Better than getting some young 20-something tech you may find at the larger establishments. Jillian is very attentive. She'll take whatever time it takes with you. No rush job. She will also shave you if you've missed some spots, which I always do. Some places plainly state they do not shave. Her equipment is one of the best lasers in the industry. (I researched it). Not all laser machines are the same. She will appropriately space out your sessions. If a place tells you they recommend sessions every 4 weeks, leave immediately. They're just there to take your money and hurry  you through. For example, I go every 10 weeks for my Brazilian. A couple of weeks less for other areas.  Jullian  tailors a plan based on the area done and your hair growth speed.  At consultation, she did a couple of test laser zaps to check my skin reaction (not all places will offer to test you at consult). Having the test zaps  is also an opportunity for you to understand the pain that is involved so you will be prepared for your first visit. It is excruciating. You MUST have a numbing regimen. Don't believe the people when they say it feels like a rubber band snap. NO! You will start questioning life itself when that laser hits you if you aren't properly numb in certain sensitive areas.   Towards the end of my consultation, as I was lying on the table, I felt so comfortable with her, I literally said to her, "I like you Jillian. I'm not going to bother looking anywhere else" (she was the first place I went to for a consultation). I felt like I had known her for years. And I'm not kidding. I have had a few sessions done. I am very pleased with my results.
