I'm in the midst of finding my new "home" for skin and beauty needs, after an esthetician that I loved moved out of the area. So after reading the reviews for Ritual and following them on social for a few months, I decided to book at appointment for a peel with Victoria. The business suite is located within a much bigger building and upon getting off the elevator on the 8th floor, it was clear to me that many of the surrounding suites include other medical professionals. Upon entry, you'll notice the clinic is pristine and elegant, while also feeling warm and welcoming. Cayla, the patient coordinator at the check-in desk was bubbly and genuine - as a first time visitor, that initial impression means a lot. No pretense, no standoffishness - just a desire to help you to get settled in. I was then taken to the waiting area which was also clean and comfortable, with a few refreshments that are available for guests. Luckily for me, I was only in there for a few minutes before Victoria came to get me. We took a few pics and then headed into the room for my appointment. The room felt very much like a room you may be in for a doctor's appointment - very sterile, bright lights - which of course is a good sign. I then chatted with Victoria about my concerns and needs. She was a great listener as well as a proactive communicator, always educating me as she made suggestions or talked with me about options. It's evident that her top concern is the patient's health and well-being first and foremost, which then guides her recommendations. With the additional knowledge and context she provides, it's impossible not to feel well taken care of, in the hands of a responsible and professional provider. I was also very appreciative of her care and awareness of what treatments would be best for my type of skin, educating me about the Fitzpatrick scale (which I had taken time to educate myself briefly about on my own, but had never had a provider articulate with such mindfulness.) She also was able to balance that professionalism with warmth - which is a rare combination to find. Her ability to make you feel comfortable seems to come naturally and really makes the whole experience not only impactful but enjoyable. There's a reason Ritual has so many 5-star reviews. I've been coming here for almost six months for neurotoxin treatment and filler. I'm terrified of needles, but my injector Layla put me completely at ease from the start and has always made herself available when I have questions. The clinic is beautiful, the service feels personal, and they run great specials about once per quarter so you're getting safe, high-quality care at a fair price. After multiple tries, I just can't anymore. I've been doing injections for a decade. Never before experienced the problems I did here. First time, my appt was for toxin. Should've been relatively quick. I waited for over 30 mins past my appt time before I was called back (to wait some more). So be prepared for that. What you might think is something you can schedule around your work schedule may not work. I, embarrassingly, had to cancel some work calls because I was still waiting for my appt. And after that first time, my right eye fell. I mean FELL. It was so closed looking compared to my left. So I called and they got me in for a corrective appt quickly. They had me text pictures to Tracy. And, this time, I barely had to wait at all. (Note that in 10 years of injections, I had never before experienced this.) So fast forward and it's time to redo everything. I decide I also want to add in filler (which I typically do once or twice a year - again for the last decade). You can't make an appt online for both toxin and filler. A small thing, but annoying. Thankfully, the wait for this appt wasn't extensive. (So maybe that first experience was an outlier.) I expressed my concerns about making sure that first time (with my right eye collapsing) didn't happen again. Tracy was shocked and asked "With me?" Um, how was that correction appt not noted anywhere in my chart or whatever. Very strange. Well, it happened again. Not as severe this time. But my right eye again became super closed. WTF? Again, never before experienced this in my 10 years of doing toxin and going to multiple injectors (I move a lot for work). But wait, there's the lip filler. I had one bad experience before (from a plastic surgeon) where the filler was too heavy and dragged my lip down. (Had to get it dissolved and redone elsewhere.) I explicitly mentioned this experience and how it was a concern of mine. The assistant assured me that "Tracy has a technique where that won't happen." Welp, dear reader, guess what has happened? My top lip is super heavy and the sides of my top lip have rolled under. It looks awful. And I'm stuck with it until I can afford to have it dissolved. So yeah, in sum, this injector has not worked out for me. Oh, also, Tracy mentioned my skin and how my freckles were really age spots. I got conned into purchasing some expensive, prescription only stuff to fade them. Well, I had an allergic reaction to it and had to stop using it after a couple of days. I came to Tracy over a year ago (at another practice) to get Botox for the first time at 27. She clearly explained my problem areas, talked through every injectable option, and did the math for pricing in front of me. She was also SO sweet and made me feel so so comfortable. The whole process was less than 30 minutes and I hardly felt a thing. I needed Botox again a year later, so I scoured the internet for Tracy's name so that I could follow her to wherever she went. I am a bit torn about writing this review but in the end, I had to spend $1500 in corrections after getting Botox and filler done here. I had been going to Lori at West End for over a decade and she moved her practice to Leesburg so I needed to find someone new. I went online researching and came across Tracy and made my first appt. Like everyone else says, Tracy's very nice and explains things thoroughly. I felt very comfortable when I came. The first time I came I just got some minor Botox done and it went fine. The second time I came I needed a bit more- some filler and Botox. First my appt was early in the morning and she was almost 45 minutes late. While sitting at the front, I was surprised to hear the guy behind the receptionist seeming very judgy about people around but whatever. When she finally came in (with her assistant) I told her what I needed and sugggested filler behind my jaw line by and Botox.. She convinced me to get filler in my chin and some on the crease area between cheeks and nose instead. Ok. (The whole time her assistant is agreeing with everything she said like her personal cheerleader--it was a bit weird.) After she did the procedures she told her tech to take photos and call her back if anything needed tweaking.. and it did and she went to find her right away. But I had to wait another 30 min for her to come back and tweak the area where by chin met my jaw because it looked bad. By the time I was out of there it was almost 2 hours later instead of what should have taken 30 minutes and I had to pay the day rate for parking too. Fast forward a few days once things settle and swelling is down and I now have a ball-y looking chin. It was supposed to lengthen my chin but she put it towards the front of the base rather than directly down. The one side she didn't tweak at the end looked bad.. not a smooth transition at all. The laugh lines she filled in totally changed the look of my face and now my face looked HEAVY and unnatural. I was trying to just deal with it.. but then the Botox started settling in and my eyelids dropped. I mean we are talking serious hooding going on at that point I couldn't ignore it anymore. I did not feel comfortable going back to Tracy to correct so I did not contact her office. I just looked REALLY BAD. I decided to book an appointment with my old nurse Lori out in Leesburg and she was surprised to see the state of my face vs. what it looked like when I saw her in March. Lori explained that there are some things about my face that are tricky and only because she's worked with me so long she knows how my face reacts so I can't count the Botox against Tracy. She mentioned that putting Botox all along my hairline causes the rest of my forehead to drop so maybe that isn't usual for others? I pulled up photos of my before Tracy visit Vs the ones Lori took that day and my eyelids were a good 1/4" lower and I now have a bulbous chin that almost sticks out as far as my lips . Lori had to even out my jawline and suggested that we consider taking it out of my chin later on but for that day, she put filler behind my jaw line to offset things and did Botox near my eyebrows to try and raise my eyelids. One week later I went back to Lori again to further correct what Tracy did. It ended up costing me $1500 to fix the $1100 I spent at Tracy's. The reason why my review is 2 is because where Tracy put filler did me no favors at all and instead of having an elongated chin I have a big ball and putting filler in my laugh line took away any definition I had between cheeks and mouth and when I smile the whole area stretched very unnaturally. Everything she did made me look worse than before. Things are starting to look better now, thank god. In a nutshell, I thought Tracy was nice but the wait time was ridiculous and I'd be hesitant to go here if you are a bit older and have tricky tweaks; I highly recommend Lori at MediLuxe. read more

I came to Kiran to have my botched lip filler injections corrected. I was practically hopeless as many aestheticians were unable to help me given they said I had too much filler migration. Her attention to detail and knowledge were impressive. She talked me through the whole process and created a game plan. She was able to dissolve the migrated filler and inject new filler in the areas of my lip needed. My last review was 6 months ago when I stopped by for my first ever dermal fillers. I just went back to see Tracy yesterday for a little bit of a touch up/refinement! I really appreciate Tracy's method, she is like an artist while she works. She takes her time with each patient, studying their face, making adjustments until everything is just right! I'm still absolutely blown away at what she was able to do and with half of the amount of treatment from my previous experiences. My other two treatments did a great job of building my tear ducts, but left a slight "ledge" under my eyes leaving me still looking a little tired. On top of that, they would last for less than 8 months, so I was shocked when she said she'd see me in 18 months. Selfies were not my friend. I'd try and snap a cute pic and think, "why does my iPhone hate me?". Snap chat filters were the only way to go. Looking in the mirror, I'd focus on the dark shadows under my eyes that no concealer could fully cover, making me look... dare I say... my age??? I came across Tracy's IG page and saw a procedure I had never heard of before. Under eye derma filler. Many of the models looked younger than me so I was uncertain how successful this would be on a early 50's year old. I went in for a consultation and Tracy declared I was a candidate.
